  1. Moscow Mitch will not have a fair hearing in the Senate! Why even bother sending this to the grim reaper. I say just keep it in the House so that THAT briber cannot be acquitted.

    1. @shade38211 The Hill is not a left paper or site. They hired John Solomon who brought up the fake Burisma affair , who then was fired for ethic issues.

  2. It really doesn’t matter what they include or not, this President has committed so much crime that he should not be in office, he should be in jail.

    1. @B Bodziak first of all they can move quickly with going ahead to impeached the fool but, they don’t have to send it to the Senate as fast as what Mitch McConnell! wanted!

    2. @ftobie84 They haven’t yet officially sent it to the Senate — at least not as of 20:58 EST on Dec 13. Personally, I think his downfall and ultimate removal lies with the 13 investigations currently in the SDNY. Politics nor payoffs seem to reign in that office. This, leaving Trump totally without a paddle.

    1. @lpr123z – sad you trumpturds put a cult of personality before the Constitution, the oath of office, & patriotism.

The TDC — *Trump Delusional Cult* — is real.

    2. Sorry. NOT going to happen. Not even going to be a contest in 2020. Thank GOD for Trump. Bring back morality that was lost during the Obama years…

  3. Well, I’ve been hoping that this could be Pelosi’s plan all along. Start small, have them whine about the process and then, yes, call the bluff and come down on trump like the plague for all of his crimes and misconduct. Right up to the election. Reason: You wanted it thoroughly and in due process… 🤷🏻‍♂️

    1. Do you actually think this voting delay was not transcribed to manipulate Dems w/ money? Its manipulation, pure & simple

  4. They should keep going on other impeachable inquiries. When the court cases comes in, use that evidence against him.

    1. @Charles Carter Oh goody, yet another triggered raindrop! Please do show us some more of your comedic prowess!!

    2. @Charles Carter thank you for those good wishes. I have had a wonderful happy life right up till now and visited and seen things most people have only seen in books. Trump on the other hand has stolen and ripped off everyone he has touched or been duped into buying anything from him. He would not blink an eye while stepping on the gas if you were infront of him directing traffic. He is the one you should worried about.

    3. Yes. There SHOULD be a trial in the Senate. Then America can watch Schiff perjure himself under oath and reveal that the real criminals are the Dims.

    1. DropKidd:
Amen. I second your OP thought … LIke my comment …
I agree with Joe’s point 100%. Why are they rushing this through? I would like to hear more all that has happened. Keep it in the news — DAY IN and DAY OUT — for months. That is what should have happened. But, hard to pick the WORST OF THE BAD THINGS that he has done.

    2. @I Wrote In Bernie Willie is the more measured journalist, but Joe – a Republican ! – has more fire in his belly than most Dems.

  5. Republicans are going to spin this however you present it. But there would be a stronger case if they obtained his tax returns and proved the bribery angle, but of course…he’s obstructing that too!!

    1. If the public are ready for it, there could be more impeachment hearings later.
The other court cases are being delayed by trumpy, but that could backlash to himself as he gets closer to the election.
Remember how Hilary supporters sat on their hands on election day due to Comey’s statements abut emails 10 days before election.
I believe that a large amount of decent and honest repub and independent voters are sitting out their opinions until much closer to the election.

  6. Here’s the thing. At the end of the day the democrats did what was right. They now stand, historically, on the side of right. They didn’t just sit by and complacently do nothing. I am glad this part was done. Now let’s see if the Republicans will do what is right which is remove this habitually criminal individual aka Trump, from the office of the U.S. presidency.

    1. No they did not do what was right, for the last 3 years they have not been doing what is right. They have been putting get rid of trump first and America second, absolutely disgusting

    2. @Li Li Marleaux I know this wasn’t at me but you know what, right back at you with your abortion and allowance of illegal immigrants. You idiot’s dont care about America all you care about is getting trump out of office. You swine

    3. Republicans doing what’s right, what’s ethical and moral? Kind of an oxymoron-like statement. Repugs have no moral center, no sense of ethics, they only care about money and power; the GOP and their cult will trade their most cherished “values” for either/or, at the drop of a hat.

    1. Republicans would do better for their party if they vote to remove Trump and Pence (or have Pence agree not to run again) and nominated a new Republican candidate all together. From the 2016 election, Republicans have shown they’ll vote for anyone they nominate, and Independents who currently support Trump are never going to vote for a Democrat in 2020. If Rep Senators vote to remove Trump, they’d gain the respect of Independents who dislike Trump and would never vote for a congressman who supported Trump’s behavior. Given that we know Republicans are party before country, I truly think they’re playing this all wrong! If they vote to remove him, they would still not lose registered Republican votes; They’d gain the respect and votes of the many anyone-but-trump Independents, and it’s independent voters that both sides need to win; AND they wouldn’t have to wake up each morning wondering & worrying about what he did overnight or tweeted at 4am nor *constantly* come up with new, far-fetched ideas to defend Trump –and literally no one has been able to reign him in over the last 3 years and his behavior has gotten progressively worse, there will definitely be even more defending him if he has a 2nd term. Why Republicans aren’t seizing this opportunity to remove and replace him while they can still “save face” is puzzling to me!

I did not vote for Hillary or for Trump in 2016. I voted for the Libertariain. I will not make that mistake again — it wasn’t until after the results came out that I realized any vote not for Hillary was a vote for Trump. If 1/2 of those who voted like I did had voted for Hillary, Trump would not have been elected. So, please make sure every voter you know realizes that a vote for anyone other than the Democratic candidate is a vote *for* Trump. As an Independent who dislikes partisanship, I would never have guessed that for 2020 I already know I will be voting for the Democrat *regardless* of who it is.

    1. @Fin O’Suilleabhain Sure, usually means wise men or chief (or a big wave). Didn’t make sense to me in this context, sorry. You know what “cojones” are, right?

    2. @Michael Schwartz Context is everything. Sure, I know, but I’ll only be able to think of them as ‘kabunas’ now.

    3. @Chris This isn’t a matter of being like them, it’s a matter of winning this fight for the soul of our Democracy, and protecting our Constitution. The Dems aren’t going to win that fight by looking weak and spineless, no one wants cowards running the country. The Repugs have run roughshod over the Constitution ever since the Repug SCOTUS decided they cld elect a president – Mitch McConnell stole a Supreme Court seat from Obama and the Dems did nothing – Brian Kemp ran his own election and rigged it so he wld win in broad daylight and the Dems & the MSM barely made a peep – touch screen ballot boxes in TX were caught changing Beto votes to Cruz votes, and that wasn’t even the first time touch screen machines changed Dem votes to GOP – the “originalists” on the SCOTUS decided money equals speech despite there’s nothing about that in the Constitution and now the Repugs are rolling in dark money, from corps, and Russia, and Russia friendly Ukrainians – the NRA was feting a Russian spy who used them to funnel millions to the GOP. And what have Dems done to stem this tide of GOP malfeasance? nothing, so they get more brazen about voter suppression, more brazen about inviting foreign powers to meddle in our elections. During the Trump era they’ve created a completely alternate reality that the Repug cult is perfectly happy to live in.

Being the “bigger” person doesn’t mean giving into bullies, it means standing up to them. It doesn’t mean remaining silent while the other side cheats, it doesn’t mean letting liberal voters in red state lose their faith in our elections to protect the fragile faith in our elections of liberal voters in blue states. Being the bigger person doesn’t mean letting the other side do whatever they want without retaliation bc you know why? bc they’re just gonna keep doing it, they’re gonna keep punching you, or making fun of you, or stealing your supreme court seats, or whatever, until you stand up to them.

    4. Yes, can’t wait for a Senate trial. Schiff will perjure himself under oath, and the DimoRAT’S corruption will be exposed!!! This will be SO fun.

  7. Mr. Joe: let’s first make haste in order to get key witnesses to the hearings who otherwise would drag on via courts. Once the House impeachment is a fact there’s nóthing that could or should or will stop either the House, the SDNY or other courts to keep the pressure on with – there’s wáy more to come – new or renewed cases. With a House impeachment and many many new files to be brought to light or to courts there WILL be a weekly episode of this greatest soap opera on the planet. And that will open peoples’ eyes well before november 22 in 2020.

    1. I agree. the other ongoing investigations is
where the sharpest ax will fall. Pence and the
      crew will all be indicted
      and sing like warblers.
      the republican’t congress
      members are akin to a
      group of battered wives:
      no mention of a problem
      in public/excuses galore
      when any evidence is
      visible/and of course he
      will change…
      be well

    2. I was so surprised that they didn’t go after Trump for the Stormy Daniels thing. I mean they’ve got him red-handed. Cohen isn’t that bad of a witness besides, Trump doesn’t even deny it happened flat out.

    1. I mean he already conveniently had his Epstein problem go away through “a series of unfortunate accidents” (~ Bill Barr).

    1. EXACTLY! If Trump wants witnesses as he “claims” bring in Stormy, Cohen and throw in other crimes he’s committed and show how he’s still colluding with Russia right in the face of the country.

  8. I’m with Joe on this…Week after week march people into the impeachment hearings discussing “All The President’s Crimes”. Stormy Daniels, Michael Cohen, etc…

  9. 3:56 This is what “impeachment heavy” looks like. Breathlessly running to the bathroom where he might need to flush 15 times after he’s done.

  10. It’s clear that the president has continued to abuse his power each and everyday day needs to be impeach and remove
