  1. Watching Trump’s base wigging out on other news clips, those are some scary looking people, vicious, violent and inbred.

    1. Joe Scarborough is under investigation by police for inappropriate touching of young boys and also he had disturbing pictures of children on his harddrive

    1. @Joe H And he knows it’s coming.. Can’t hide under the presidential “umbrella” forever.. as the walls of Justice begin to close in on him…. He looked absolutely petrified during that 2am little presser the other night.. He started doing that sniffing thing.. That’s when you know he’s really spooked! Hey, don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time..

    2. @Heather C Gotta muzzle him.. He’s capable of selling secrets to our enemies.. Tight leash included with that muzzle.. Preferably a jail cage, no cellphone..

    1. @Jacob W Rossi How much have you been able to borrow so far? None lol. Banks borrow those who can pay.

    2. @Jessstotheka Lolz…Well no one used invisible Mail-in ballots this much in US history. You should understand now.

  2. Christians and evangelicals believing that Donald Trump is going to somehow save the religious rights and freedoms is the equivalent to a earth destroying meteorite coming towards the Earth, and a Plane full of people thinking they can somehow Fly Above the destruction! Just beyond idiocy!

    1. Michael Nelson
      The “right” to believe:
Belief is not governed by earthly law.
No one has (nor should have) the power over your beliefs, but you.
      The Right to Religious Freedom:
The constitution prohibits the government from any state sponsored or imposed religion.
It was the right of the people to be free of a state sponsored religion being imposed upon them, regardless of their personal beliefs.
It did not depend upon which religion you were, or even if you had no religion at all, the government could not impose a religion upon you. The founders were escaping/ breaking away from England, where there was state sponsored religion; the Church of England.

    2. When every vote is counted, one thing will be clear… Trump Lost and American Democracy Won. America will have a chance to repair the damage Trump has dealt our Democratic Institutions. The work will require both Decent Democrats and Decent Republicans and may take a decade or more. We all should thank God for this do over and not screw things up.

    3. @Steph J Excuse me, but trump an international “peace maker’? Come on. trump has broken every agreement that was essential to the preservation of peace, everey worldwide effort to protect our future generations from climate change. He has renegated on every worldwide effort to protect us and our descendants from destruction. He cosied up with dictators, who destroy their own people. And you have the nerve to equate your own pitiful taxcut (taxes who are meant to provide those more fortunate than you with help) with some sort of insan christian value? And your so-called “God-given rights” mean nothing, unless you can acknowledge that many people do not abide by any “God”. They just try to live a decent and honourable life, in the here and now. Without entertaining any hope of “salvation”. But there is a reason why Jesus threw the philistines out of the temple. Because they were using their false piety to benefit themselves. Which is what you are doing right now. Shame on you. Faith is a private matter. The very fact that you allow youself to make such a BS comment goes to show how false you people behave. Again, shame on you for using a faith as an instrument to your vile lying.

    1. @Diorama artist Please do not believe the lies spread by the Dirty Dems and Fake News. Please do not disrespect President Trump and his supporters who are very respectful to others, including the Dirty Dems that support Sleepy Joe who everyone knows is a socialist and will destroy America. GOD bless President Trump.

  3. As an Atheist, I so grateful to hear a man of faith act in line with his proclaimed faith — and call out those who don’t live by their Faith’s rules

    1. in the past 50 years, the unAmerican far-right GOP and activist SC judges have been more and more turning the US into a White Christian Nationalist Theocracy.

The first secular democracy in the world, largely founded by non-christians (or at least non-traditional christians often derided as heretics/atheists by christian officials), at a time when the rest of the civilized world is proudly, openly, post-christian and post-religious (to the point that many western countries have a majority of nonbelievers), and even the backwards US has 30% non-religious population, and about 50% more sort of, kind of, maybe, I don’t know/don’t really care, semi-religious/christian population, and only 20% true believer zealots, and yet this extremist minority is eroding all of our rights, especially freedom of and FROM religion.

More (just a few of many recent books):
The Founding Myth: Why Christian Nationalism Is Un-American by Andrew L Seidel
The Power Worshippers: Inside the Dangerous Rise of Religious Nationalism

    2. wafflemouse, it is impossible for an Atheist to know the minds of those who trust in God, it is spiritually discerned.

    1. *WRONG!!!! STOP CaLLing TrumpPimps, Morons!!!*
*TrumpPimps, are LIARS, EVIL, ViLe, CriminaLs, DeMonic, their GOD is a DeMon, Rapists (I’m Being NICE)!*

  4. It looks like those Evangelicals want a form of theocracy.
They sound like a doomsday cult.
Let’ hope that nobody crazy enough to start a self-fulfilled prophecy comes into power.

    1. @Whataboutyouman? Sigh. Again, this kind of accusatory hyperbole just evidences my point. Im a thousand miles away from the US, so its not my problem. But you guys gotta live next to each other. It seems to me you guys will continue to have violence and social unrest as long as such attitudes persist. Ill bow out now.

    1. I have a few ideas. Whats interesting to me is that Americans seem unable (or perhaps unwilling) to see any of it.

    2. @big Cahuna The biggest fraud and crook in the world. calling. Joe crook . And ignorant people believe that crap 💩

  5. Nailed it, Joe. I can’t relate anymore to the Christian World I was raised in.

Jesus hasn’t changed—our Deceiver In Chief has misled many.

    1. @Pangolin Steak & Bat Gravy you will soon find out; I pray your eyes be opened to the truth….. Jesus loves you, turn to him

    2. @Christopher Wise there is only one Holy Book that holds the truth and that is the Holy Bible

    3. @be prepared for what is coming LOL…Ugh. Which version? Under who’s interpretation? Which parts are “sacred” and which parts are filling in the blanks of history? Give me a break.

    1. Joe had it right when he stated Christians scream “Religious Liberty” until it comes to OTHER religions. They don’t want Religious Liberty for Jews, Catholics, Muslims, Hindu’s, Buddhists, or Sikh’s….just themselves. Very hypocritical but not religious.

    1. @Shawn Gill wow okay… are you a sad guy or what? why so mean? You could have just asked for a link. I have a login to the real numbers but here— these are the numbers you will be seeing on the news either tonight or tomorrow. They are already known here in AZ. National news just won’t report them for some reason:

      https://mobile.twitter.com/Garrett_Archer

    2. @William Stevens And this is the information you believe is true from a link you got off Twitter from the Data Guru with a Sesame Street character Count Von Count logo. Dude have a nice one and Stay Safe.

    3. @William Stevens blah blah blah.. sounds like you are just another Trumpster who got sold an empty bag with Trump and now your pride prevents you from admitting you are wrong. It’s ok. You will grow up one day,

    4. @Eric Zommer check the link bud. I’m sorry. I’m not even a trumpeter. I held my nose and voted Biden. Doesn’t change the fact that Trump wins AZ and if they audit some ballots they will find fake ballots

    5. Christians and evangelicals believing that Donald Trump is going to somehow save the religious rights and freedoms is the equivalent to a earth destroying meteorite coming towards the Earth, and a Plane full of people thinking they can somehow Fly Above the destruction! Just beyond idiocy!

  6. The two things missing in the equation for this demographic is , *Education* (specifically science) and *Exposure* to people and ideas that are not their own . The maps tell the story.

    1. I’m from Scotland. We were a relatively poor family of eleven children. I was at school till I was 18, worked for the Government for 1 year, then went to College for four years. Then when I was 38 went back to college for 3 years (Night school computer programming in the early 90’s) ALL FREE. Education is the key. I’m now 68 and could still go back to Open University free of charge.

  7. Morning Joe, you just summarized EVERYTHING I’ve been thinking , perfectly. Thank you. The best piece you’ve ever done.

    1. And they’re not even “Christian”, they’re “Trumpian”, they treat Trump like he is God, Lord forgive them.. Someone who follows Christ’s teachings doesn’t behave like a total xenophobe racist.. That is contrary to Christ’s teachings..

    1. *MORE: the GHOST of John McCain, DID 2-Great Things!!!!*
      #-1 *Arizona WENT Joe & Kam 2020!!!!!*
#-2 *Arizona Voted in Space Guy, & Married to shot Lady; KELLY to the Senate!!!!*

    2. I did NOT like what he stood for in politics but as and HONORABLE and PATRIOTIC he had NO challenge!! ……. and HE his missed HE would NOT have allowed this crap with the GOP and ALL of the crap in the senate would NOT have been possible including the KANGAROO COURT TO DISMISS THE IMPEACHMENT.

Unfortunately all the GOOD ppl died in a short spam that allowed for this level of corruption to happen (this is a good point for a conspiracy)

    3. @sebell C *OnLy Ignorant Types, can NEVER mention the Person’s NAME,*
*of whom they are SpeaKing of!!!!*

    4. McCain was trash. He voted with 45* 80% of the time. He was no independent maverick, just another coward plutocrat.

  8. You are the type of Republican I can respect and have a real dialogue with. I am a Democrat. Thank you for being an American first!

    1. There is a difference between TRUE Republicans and the Trump cult. Why do you think most of them voted for Biden…..they are trying to save their party.

    2. While there is some truth to the point Joe makes, must take exception with his false equivocations and his downplaying of the very real threat to America (and Americans) posed by four more years of Toxic Trump. Like climate change isn’t a dire, immediate threat urgently needing to be addressed (climate change being the #1 national security threat according to the common consensus of our military, scientific, and intelligence communities). Like losing hundreds of thousands MORE Americans to COVID-19 under Toxic Trump is no big deal. How would Joe feel if he loses his beautiful wife Mika next year to COVID-19 should Toxic Trump got reelected, almost surely caused due to his continued gross incompetence and criminal homicidal negligence in his handling of this deadly global pandemic? What about the green light given to racists, xenophobes, homophobes, misogynists, religious bigots and the like; the hate and division further fomented should Toxic Trump win four more years? What about the continuing damage to democracy and our institutions, the steady erosion that will surely only increase if given license to another four years of his authoritarian mentality to wreak chaos and havoc upon our democratic republic? Toxic Trump need not destroy it entirely; he can still cause plenty of irrevocable damage and lasting harm.

Generally, Democrats just don’t react the same as the Republican cult does to leaders getting elected from the opposing party. Sure, Democrats are disappointed, but it’s not the end of the world to them. They do take a deep breath, carry on with their lives. Maybe it inspires them to become more active in politics, to strive towards being more successful in the next election–but that’s only as it should be. That’s normal and healthy. Unlike Republicans, they aren’t hatching lies and crackpot conspiracy theories about their political opponents, unjustly demonizing them at every opportunity. Unlike Republicans, there are no Democratic militias planning for and threatening civil war should their politician lose an election.

Also, Joe’s partisan bias is showing here by stereotyping–as if somehow only Republicans are religious, or Christian. That Democrats aren’t religious, or don’t care about religious freedom; it’s only the Republican SCOTUS or Federal courts protecting it, acting as some kind of firewall. That’s a ridiculous position to take–one that only plays directly into the hands of Reich-wing cult zealots, feeding red meat to the barbarians.

  9. Joe: We need to stop obsessing over politics!
Also Joe: Now, let us continue with our 3-hour show about politics!

I fell out of my chair laughing at that

    1. Thought that part was hilarious, as well. Yeah, he at least recognized and acknowledged the irony and hypocrisy of his rant. Which doesn’t diminish any of the irony and hypocrisy.

    1. @Heather Fitzgibbon it is sad and once again joe is wrong. If people i love act in this trumpian way they no longer deserve my love. Doesnt matter who it is.

    2. @Alfreda Williamson HOPE WE HAVE LEARNED THAT WHAT WE SAY OF OTHER PEOPLE USUALLY IS A REFLECTION OF WHAT THAT PERSON IS

    3. Chris James sadly 65 Million of them pretty much chose the dark side, knowing who he is and four years of it, they still chose him, it’s very sad indeed.

    4. democrats aren’t the smart. It’s a miracle Trump is losing. The GOP benefit from foreign interference, voter suppression, conspiracy theories, party unity, and better political ads and messaging. The GOP moderates had to organize and form “Lincoln Project” and “Republican Voters Against Trump” because the democrats are incompetent. Liberals and progressives failed to unite for Hillary in 2016, handing the GOP Trump, Senate, House, and Supreme Court super majority. Tom Perez and democratic leadership should be replaced. A global pandemic to help Biden win is not a winning formula. Democrats don’t know what they are doing.
