Perhaps this must turn out to become Darwin’s revenge on the deplorables?
At this point it doesnt seem like a stretch that he does not want tests to be widely available to keep “the number low” and somehow hopes the inevitable deaths will not be attributed to this virus and his mishandling of it? It sure sounds like a crazy conspiracy theory, but this is not beyond this guy… its just not.

Blamed Obama

Muzzled the experts
Announced it contained
Told the sick to go to work
Downplayed its seriousness

Where is your heath care? Where is your tax cut? Where has ANY infrastructure improvements been made? Where is that wall, and why hasn’t Mexico paid for it? Where are the thousands of coal and steel jobs that were coming back? He’s nothing more than a carnival barker, and not even good at that
I don’t see where his quickness in cutting off all physical contact with China was an error, (especially since this is costing a world of money). He is not downplaying anything : he is simply trying to avoid panic. He has just severed any trips from Europe which is far worse than we are, and having lived in France for more thank 30 years and up on what’s going on there, I can assure you that you’d rather be here than over there !!!

@Alan Brookes hi. Yeah I know. I am one of those citizens. I’m elderly and with with underlying conditions thant make one more likely to have a bad outcome from this. He just doesn’t care. That is an absolutely foreign concept to him. The only thing that motivates him is money.

I am Swiss born American, but the Swiss so far have still not allowed Ticino Canton to shut borders to Italy. 70,000 workers that commute from Italy to Switzerland daily, are still allowed in and out. If you look at the cases vs. the low Population of Switzerland compared to Thailand with 53 cases ( 32 healed and home) with 70 Millions, then the Swiss did not do their great job yet. But I am confident it will happen. In fact we are efficient people.
