  1. *My Kids Did It Too!*

Regarding the Republican “strategy” for Trump’s defense — pretending to be too obtuse to address the actual subject of a debate is something I encounter quite often from people with no reasonable rationale to submit, no actual facts to argue. I don’t know if there’s a technical name for this ploy, but my teen aged kids did it all the time — they’d pretend they “just don’t get it” to obfuscate the issue, hoping they’d eventually end the discussion by driving me to suicide out of pure frustration.
It didn’t work then, it won’t work now.

    1. They are using every “ploy” and “tactic” in the book up to and including the “but Hillary” defense. And that is because they don’t have a legit defense. Their king was caught red handed with the “we need a favor, though” comment while withholding desperately needed military aid. Oh they KNOW this was so wrong to do but are going to defend it by any means possible regardless and disingenuous tactics is all they got.

  2. Another rally. On the American taxpayer’s dime. Another meeting with another dictator, Erdogan, who knows how to go after & neutralize political opponents. Trump is maybe going to get further lessons from an expert. Impeach. Convict on Secret Ballot in the Senate. Remove.

    1. Sid Manchester No where near the 43 million the socialists wasted on the fake Russia collusion nonsense DNC should be ordered to pay all that money back they stole from the taxpayers with that bullsit psycho circus!! Now you know why Ellison is in Mexico trying to raise money cause they are flat broke American donors said screw off we are done!!!!

    2. @Airborne Ranger quit lying. it’s pathetic. The Mueller investigation uncovered enough tax fraud to pay for itself. And since when does the cost of investigation justify treason?

    3. @Airborne Ranger dear moron. The Republicans started the Russian investigation and in the end it actually made money by getting unpaid taxes from Trumps cronies. Guess facts dont matter.

    1. @Justin Milet Interesting you should say this. In both HS and college we were shown footage of Hitler speaking. A couple of years ago I started mentioning on line his speeches at GASLIGHTING RALLIES reminded me of watching Hitler… O the hate replies I received.😁 His base is not to smart. Dont study and research. Love to be HOODWINKED.!

  3. The same CRIMINALS that tied Obama’s hands are the same DEVILS allowing this Orange clown to disrespect the Flag and The Constitution GET THAT SON OF A BUTCH OUT OF THERE. FIRED!!!!

    1. @NEUTERLibs Nope. I don’t accept unsupported assertions by brain dead cultists that don’t care about the facts or reality. That’s you.

    2. Lmao so democrats aren’t attacking free speech? Look at all the people they silence! They don’t attack the second amendment? They argue for open borders… they misinterpret and abuse the 14th amendment. Etc try again

    3. Barry Sutton do you know what a coup is? An impeachment inquiry is a legal way to get rid of a President, unlike a coup.

    1. Tor TORI absolutely MONEY OVER constitution or Democracy a crook and Criminal ALL of his Life don the con trump crime lying FAMILY sham and scam

  4. the leaders that are elected to lead, wait untill the polls change befor they start leading, that sounds a lot like following to me.

    1. Congress is not there to lead, it’s the equivalent of a board of a company and the president is the CEO. The people are the boss of congress and congress is the boss of the president, and the president leads the executive branch of government and the armed services. In a democracy power ultimately rests with the people.

    2. @Dave Smith no. theyre there to lead. thats why we frequently refer to them as “leaders.”
and then we, as voters, grade them on their leadership skills at the ballot.
      thats how it works.

    3. @Flashy Paws Being a leader is not in the job description of a member of congress. If you are voting for members on the basis of “leadership skills”, you’re going to get crap members and a crap congress. Some of the members are referred to as leaders, such as Speaker and Leader of the Majority in the senate, but to describe the typical member of congress as a “leader” is to seriously misunderstand the nature of government. Perhaps the problem with the US as a democracy is that the population is inherently desirous of leaders to tell them what to do. That’s the opposite of a democracy.

    4. @Dave Smith alright. vote for somebody who comes to you for advice on every topic. do you have a six year old son you can vote for or something i hope?

    5. @Flashy Paws They have paid advisers. And I would hope that every decision they make is made with as much input from as many people as they can. Going it alone, and thinking you already know it all is a recipe for disaster.
A six year old does not have the experience or skill to absorb and process all of the details needed for intelligent law making. Part of that process is to find out about all of the stakeholders that any decision might affect and take their opinions and needs into consideration. Managing the conflicting requirements of a range of inputs is a skill that forms the basis of any member of congress.

  5. Joe, even though you’re conservative, I still love you. It’s the only I can thank Trump for… finding out that there are good conservatives (yourself, Nichole Wallace, Ana Navarro, etc.), as opposed to my thinking that there were only Cuntservatives. Not all of you are soulless, greedy, bigoted twats. I still disagree with your policies… But I know that your fiscal policy is only because you truly believe it’s what is best for the country (you’re wrong, but whatever), and not out of greed. And, you still love your country, the Constitution, and the rule of law.

    1. @Shirley Brown I agree. This is me saying that Joe and other conservatives, unlike Trump and his sycophantic enablers, are decent people.

  6. If Obama had said the Article II gave him the power to do whatever he wants, Trump would have had a hissy fit.

    1. The entire electorate of the GOP would lose their minds and probably end up getting shot by the national guard while trying to start a civil war.

    2. Obama would never make that kind of statement, he would do things like… “The Obama administration is acknowledging its transfer of $1.7 billion to Iran earlier this year was made entirely in cash.” -LA Times, Wall Street Jo., CNN. That’s chump change compared to $30 billion over 10 years he approved for Israel as he was leaving office. Trump in office is not… Comfortable, but like saying goes: The Truth Hurts.

    3. @Leeanne Bishop Yes someone constantly F*cking things up will always win the popularity vote, because stupidity is the dominant genetic factor. I guarantee you won’t understand how.

    4. @Altus Snow Hey STUPID, THAT WAS IRAN’S MONEY. That money was frozen immediately following 9/11 and was FINALLY released to them. IT…WAS…THEIR…MONEY. Lord GOD you people are TERMINALLY STUPID.

    1. @Janet Skelley yep. What about Demonrat congresswoman Katie Hill Nazi tattoo? I don’t hang with Nazis or vote for them. 🤔 I think Adam Schiff swatiska tattoo covering his back.

  7. The funny part of it is that it ALL is Trump’s own doing. If he would have reacted like any sane person would, he would have been hailed as a good president and would have been re-elected with some ease. Instead, his rants, his misjudgements, his animosities, his inability to hold two concepts in his mind at once, his severe case of dyslexia, all make his future the hellhole he wished for so many others. He could have earned billions, instead he is losing tens of millions. He could have saved the world from self-destruction, instead he precipitated it for the gain of a couple of million to himself, I have always thought George W. Bush jr. was the stupidest and most corrupt president ever, but Donald Trump beats him by several furlongs in the Kentucky Derby of history.

    1. Yep, pretty much. He should have stayed out of the spotlight, ripping off Joe Citizen, or whatever he was up to.

  8. Donald Trump declared “Section 2 says I can do anything I want”.
He is about to find out that He is wrong.
He is about to find out that he is answerable to Congress.

    1. The founders of this Nation granted authority over both the Presidential and Judicial branchs of our Government to Congress. It is the only one of the 3 branchs where every member is elected by the Citizens of the United States. At this point, 2 Presidents and 1 member of the United States Supreme Court have had Articles of Impeachment charges filed by the House of Representatives, it can get down to one vote. The Senate is the Jury, at least 2/3rds have to find them guilty before they can be removed from office, that has never happened. If it’s a President, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is the Judge.

    2. @Starla Grady “National Registered Voter Turnout in Federal Elections” it’s a website. 2016, Republicans lost the popular vote by just under 3 Million, 2018, they lost by over 10 Million, 2019, they lost. Nov 3rd 2020, they are getting their @$$’$ KICKED. PS: THOSE ARE REAL NUMBERS not clueless hallucinations.

  9. You can’t be radical president of the US…..there are constitutional laws you have to abide by.  Oh well, he should have listened.

    1. Trump has made the rogue state obvious to the whole world. Washington is so corrupt there is no reason for future elections

  10. As I have said multiple times: the Orange man is not crazy nor demented. He is a consummate criminal who was only dumb enough to think that he could sell out our country, squash democracy and get away with it. His son (don jr) said as much: that “democracy is dead.” Such shameless highway thieves belong behind bars, and somebody should throw the keys away.

    1. why are you throwing shade at our president he was voted in and if you want to change that do not vote for him but when he dose get elected don’t complain like a 5 year old that did not get his or her ice cream.

    2. Ok so you Trump protected, what do you think about the testimonys ?and about these witness’s credibility? Please answer what your take

  11. There are 38 dishonest tricks of argument according to a book my father left me – “Straight & Crooked Thinking” by Robert H Thouless. Only a handful listed here but I’ve heard most, if not all 38, used without shame by 45 and his followers. Once you’ve spotted these ploys you’ll be waiting for them and will never believe a politician again!
    1)Emotional language
2)Claim an argument is logically correct when it’s built on false or untrue premises.
    3)Contradiction, or deliberate misrepresentation.
4)Distraction – introducing side issues, irrelevancies.
5)Non Sequitur – the conclusion does not result from the argument.
6)Lesser of 2 Evils – “Maybe I did it, but what he did is much worse”.
7)The True Believer – using repeated affirmation, employing a confident manner, employing prestige.

  12. Putin is laughing in his Kremlin office. Oppressors of Ukraine since Ivan the Terrible. Everything this Jerk does benefits RasPutin! Why!
