Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's legal battle continues as the divorced movie stars face off in a $50 million (or more) libel trial.

The trial began April 11 in Fairfax County, Virginia, outside Washington, D.C., with a panel of 11 – seven jurors and four alternates – picked, according to Court TV, which is broadcasting the trial.
Depp, 58, is suing Heard, 35, for $50 million, alleging she defamed him in an opinion column she published in The Washington Post (which is printed in Fairfax County) in December 2018. In the column, she claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse, a claim she first raised during their corrosive divorce proceeding in 2016 in Los Angeles.
On Tuesday, Depp is expected to take the stand in the tense trial.

I wish johnny Depp were here in New Zealand, I’d gauruntee he would’ve met a much more down to earth woman who doesn’t give a f over status and high maintenance BS (mind you, we probably never know about any one person I guess) he seemed as though he struggled so hard in silence and tried to do everything in his power to have a peaceful divorce, what a fucken nightmare of a rollercoaster! I feel for you johnny Depp but I am so glad you have so much support around you and it’s mostlikely you wouldn’t see this , but in a 0000000.00001% chance of you getting to read this, I wish you peace love and the truth to be on your side in the end. Next time travel here to New Zealand when you win your case and finally get a break and I hope you meet so many more uplifting souls!
