Jon Ossoff: Republican Infighting Is Result Of ‘Denial’ Over Trump Loss | The Last Word | MSNBC

As Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) and David Purdue (R-GA) call for the resignation of the state’s Republican secretary of state to appease Donald Trump, Georgia’s Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Jon Ossoff says “indulging the president’s temper tantrum as he’s dragged, kicking and screaming out of the White House, is probably not a good use of time.” Ossoff tells Lawrence O’Donnell he’s focused on winning Georgia’s two Senate races so President-elect Joe Biden can “govern and lead us out of this crisis." Aired on 11/10/2020.

Jon Ossoff: Republican Infighting Is Result Of ‘Denial’ Over Trump Loss | The Last Word | MSNBC

    1. @Dave …. ‘investigations ongoing’ ?! In your wet dreams… that little detail of evidence, is totally missing!

    2. @Dave dude your delusional if you think they are going to throw out millions of votes lol. Democrats worked this hard to cheat the election but lost seats in the house and didn’t even win the senate? That’s a pretty crappy cheat job if you ask me lol.

    3. @Dave it’s always fake news when things don’t go 45 and his brainwashed followers way. Who’s the ❄️ snowflake now? Lol 😂

  1. The Constitution divided the Government into three branches: legislative, executive, and judicial. Just like the phrase sounds, the point of (checks and balances) was to make sure no one branch would be able to control too much power, and it created a (separation of powers)….

What ever happened to  governmental checks and balances? The Republican Senators (never) check or balance Trump. He says, does, and signs whatever he wants. And all the Republicans are afraid to check his authority and actions publicly. The government is out of balance, with Trump doing whatever he wants. Then, he appointed Amy Comey Barrett, thinking she will thank and favor Trump’s decisions from the supreme court side of the government. Trump has abused the executive branch and its powers….
    Unbelievable….

Then, yesterday, if his cabinet or aides look for another job, he will fire them too, on the spot….

How many people has he fired now? Wow!!!

If the ship is sinking, he’s going to take you with him….

The Separation of Powers – Why Is It Necessary?

History has time and again shown that unlimited power in the hands of one person or group in most cases means that others are suppressed or their powers curtailed. The separation of powers in a democracy is to prevent abuse of power and to safeguard freedom for all.

    1. @Frances Wilson I remember them very well. Sadly many schools do not teach civics anymore which I feel is a serious mistake.

    2. @Frances Wilson So, you didn’t graduate from high school???
      I’ll be respectful to you…..

Trump has abused his position in the executive branch of government… No one brach is to have more power than any of the other branches ….
He acts, and behaves like a mob boss. He’s abusive to everybody…. That’s not acceptable from the highest political position in the country……
Politics is no place for reality TV ..
Yes, it’s very entertaining and funny…
But he’s constantly sending out the wrong aggressive message…..
He continues to abuse his position

    3. @Frances Wilson Yes, I know, nothing to worry about….

      GO mayor Pete Buttigieg!!!!
      The Slayer…..
      The Savage….
      Casually Savage……

      Offends most Trumpers….
He’s to smart for all these Trumpers.
Trumpers get butt hurt when he speaks…..

    1. @Stacks Amillion yup. I donated $150 and I’m in CA. Will be donating MORE next week. It’s my money. I earned it. And I’ll do what I please with it!!

    2. @S W thats your right. And its my right to laught at such stupidity. Hahhahahaha biden?? In febuary in gonna come back and laugh when you have no job

    3. @Stacks Amillion I could care less if you laugh and yes – it is you’re right. It is funny to me that you can’t see how Trump was leading us into a state of authoritarian government. He’s still trying ….

And I’ll keep my job regardless of who wins. However, with Betsy Devos removed as secretary of education – once Biden takes over in January – my job will be much better. I work in education but not as a teacher. I hold my own license and already have a small private practice that I can easily grow in the case public education is decimated by the republican leaders.

    1. Tom don’t beg in the run off just vote them out simple look what Mitch is sitting on how many bills 200 plus for years he’s just a leach on tax payers he obstructs everything

    2. *donald trump is compromised even before the election of 2016. He will sell any secrets to foreign powers at the highest bid.*
*Prepare for a coup and attempt to dictatorship..*

    1. @neil1030 look at Nixon vs Mcgovern or Obama vs McCain. Much wider margins of victory. Lawrence knows this is not correct.

    2. @neil1030Many other presidential races where bigger wins too. Nixon vs Mcgovern, Obama vs McCain. Smart guy but where did he get that? Lawrence should have corrected him.

    3. @Jessica he makes sense. Talks about putting the people first, not power. Uses facts rather than emotion to state his case. Seems rationale and well-balanced, he’s someone that would work with others to reach best solutions rather than obstruct everything put in front of him. He recognizes that the US has become stagnant and has been held back by divisive politics for the last 12 years. He wants to move forward not with us vs them attitude but with a we the people – all people. For me, that’s why.

    4. @Jeff M Very true. I thought maybe be was talking about cases where the incumbent lost but either way his numbers are off. I have been surprised this season at how many political pros and journalists seem to be under-informed when it comes to statistics from previous elections.

    1. *donald trump is compromised even before the election of 2016. He will sell any secrets to foreign powers at the highest bid.*
*Prepare for a coup and attempt to dictatorship..*

    2. @Karl Reeh Biden has done NOTHING for 47 YEARS! Shut up Corn Pop, Esther Williams, and Bill Wrightmouse!

    3. @Speak easy I never once heard Trump say he used to be a kitchen table! Dementia Joe Teleprompter did! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈🙈🙈🙈

  2. That debate statement needs to be framed & hung on the wall! Maybe if more people stood up & pointed out that the other party was a crook, they wouldn’t assume they can get away with it.

    1. @Grand Master Ray You have GOT to be kidding me… so because you bat-sxht crazy trump cult members just say “you’re standing against god” we are supposed to just believe that tripe? BTW here is what your cult leader says about his OWN DAUGHTER while you tell me he is somehow anointed by god: “Is it wrong to be more sexually attracted to your own daughter than your wife?” Source: t.ly/hJiM 🤬🤮

Donald Trump speaks about his daughter, Ivanka:
“Is it wrong to be more sexually attracted to your own daughter than your wife?”
“Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father….”
“You know who’s one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? My daughter, Ivanka. She’s 6 feet tall, she’s got the best body.”

      🤮🤬🤮🤬🤮

  3. Georgia stood behind former Vice President Biden, helping to make him President Elect Biden. Stacy Abrams put herself out there I hope you help Jon I think he’ll be great💯💙

  4. Georgia, if you all vote Democrat in January…I will personally come to Georgia & give each & everyone of you a foot rub! How’s that sound?😀

    1. I need a foot rub, can you fly to Australia 😜. Kevin is a typical Aussie name, usually abbreviated to ‘Kevo.’

  5. The world is confused about U.S right now because these back to back half baked episodes of TRUMP DRAMA is beyond logic. It’s a written and unwritten rule that during a pandemic, politics should not have a saying in saving lives. Every country agrees with this, except “The United States,” the GOP are an insult to the meaning of “United States.”

  6. I don’t live in state of Ga, but please, please, Georgian help and vote for this young man. He’s intelegent, honest, trustworthy, and most of all not corrupt. God bless you.

    1. You’re DECIEVED by the NewsMedia do your Research and find out the Truth Joe Biden is a Con Artist Corrupt Politician’ pathical Liar and his son is being investigated for laundering Money from Foreign Countries And the Mafia Media hides all of this from you But one day soon They will be EXPOSED SNAkES 🐍

    2. @Spam Acc TRUMP IS THE DARK CHOSEN ONE, THE DEVIEVER, THE LIAR, BRINGING IN CHOAS, DEATH, CONFUSION, DIVISION AND DESTRUCTION. HE HATES MANKIND. HE REPRESENTS THE VERY DEEPEST, DARKEST OF EXISTENCE, THE OPPOSITE OF GOD. HE WILL DESTROY US IF WE LET HIM !

    1. @Dillon Randall
      1) That is GA policy. A win of less than 0.5% difference allows for recounts
      2) Recounts rarely swing more than a few hundred votes. If Trump by some miracle overcomes the 14K vote gap, that will bring into question the whole election. NOt sure if the repub senators want that lol
      3) I wonder what excuse Trump will give after he loses the recount. Probably insult the Republican secretary of state and throw more tantrums

    2. @Mike W its legal to call a recount. Why not let them if they have nothing to hide? Also if he loses it makes him look more stupid so why wouldn’t the democrats want trump to look more stupid than he already is?

    3. @Mike W also my grandma has been dead for over a year and we got a mail in vote for her. So why wouldnt you think someone could cheat?

    4. @Mike W lastly good luck taking my guns…come and take it! This is why i don’t vote. I do what I want no matter whos presedent so why should I care. I’m a decent person but can be bad just like the rest. But they want to take our guns there will be a war that im sure

    1. you’re gonna have to accept you lost sooner or later 🤷🏼‍♀️better for your own sanity if you start now.. just saying 💙✌
