Every republican president has given a recession but this takes the cake 🤕

    When will Americans learn.

    • Dems & Reps bailout the 1% every recession. We are the fools.

    • @keef davis that’s true, but the REPUBLICANS are causing those recessions. It’s either bailout or have us on bread lines. It’s up to a REPUBLICAN who inherits a decent economy to do the right thing by not spending up huge debts and giving everything to that 1%. I thought that’s what conservativism was all about?

As we patiently, and peacefully, await election results let’s discuss a major concern as the US passes 100,000 COVID-19 infections a day. For many months some Americans have resisted wearing protective masks, etc. because they, “Take away freedom.” Is this really about taking away our freedoms or something else? We are a county founded on the compassionate rule of law. We have seatbelt laws and second-hand smoke laws. These are just two small examples of laws enacted to protect us when we cannot protect ourselves and each other. When functioning properly our representatives in government have the ability, as defined by constitutions, charters, etc., to do those things we cannot do by all by ourselves. This may include building highways, providing K-12 education and let’s not forget protecting us from deadly forest fires, hurricanes, etc. Governors, legislators and judges from the three branches of government, in addition to the media, are working as best as they can, as quickly as they can and with the best available public health information to keep all of us safe; individually we do not have the collective expertise, human and financial resources to manage these challenges. If they need to do this legally by decree, executive order or other provisions allowed them during emergencies. They are doing their jobs.
Although most people are doing the best they can to save lives there are some powerful few who are literally killing people. Take Trump and his super spreader events. A Stanford University study found his rallies have killed 700 people and infected 30,000. Columbia University published a study recently on how 130,000-210,000 lives could have been saved if this administration and his political devotees had not politicized a pandemic that has infected over 45 million and killed 1,200,000 world-wide – so far. (CDC – 40% of the infected are asymptomatic and never know they may be spreading COVID.) The good news is that by taking basic precautions the University of Washington projects we can save over 130,000 lives by February 1, 2021. Remember, this virus is about 8X deadlier than the 2019 flu and the third leading cause of death in the US only behind heart disease and cancer. Please fact-check all of this information yourself. Facing the truth is empowering, freeing. The sooner the more people accept reality, the sooner we can recover together as a country – grieve those we have loved and lost – and collectively address other urgent concerns.
One last thing – we are fortunate. Do the people complaining about wearing a mask really have no idea what is a true loss of freedom? Have we learned nothing from history: slavery, disenfranchisement, imprisonment in jails, ghettos and concentration camps, inscription into armies, forced marriage, starvation… Over 85,000 children in Yemen have died since 2018 directly because of US foreign policy. Currently, another 100,000 Yemen children are starving but we can still save them by providing immediate emergency assistance with our International allies. We just have to care enough about their freedom, their literal right to life. I’d like to believe we are capable of understanding false equivalences. There is no comparing facial coverings and the right to life, freedom from extreme suffering. This may not be what we have expected but it is nothing new, not really. And we each have superpowers – our infinite capacity for creative adaptation and a little thing called love. Please feel free to share this post. Take care, stay safe out there and thank you.

    • With all that said you’re obviously pro life correct?

    • Madelaine Seguin | November 5, 2020 at 8:26 PM | Reply

@algon44 I agree with the statement. But I am not pro life. Women have the right to decide. Why question this statement?🤷‍♀️

    • @Madelaine Seguin
       @Madelaine Seguin
I want the author of the self righteous post to respond to my original question.

As for you, if you’re not pro life then why does it matter who dies of covid?

    • @algon44 don’t put corona virus together with abortion right, they are 2 separate issues ,if you are not wearing a mask and you are a symptomatic then you are killing too !

    • Yes. We imported Somalians, and that worked out well, along with 15 million illegals and children without parents.

  3. Aww the chump cult is crumbling

    • Remember that your cult rigged the DNC primary against the hunchback of freebie city, twice.

You don’t think the inbreeding cultist demopedos wouldn’t rig the election???

Nothing can stop what is coming

    • @Trump 2024 lol you said inbreeding!

    • @Yota Toy remember when Rashida talib married her uncle and ilhan Omar used campaign finances to divorce her brother?? Even Hunter Biden released a $#x tape of him and his dead brothers underage daughter Natalie!!! How progressive.

Isn’t diversity fun??? Que the BANJOS

    • Is it Mifume, Tequan or Jamyla? Sorry, i can’t understand eBonics;
‘8 years of listening to the Kenyan, and I still don’t get it.

  4. Herbert Rodriquez | November 5, 2020 at 7:44 PM | Reply

Why cant Trump figure out that the only thing that’s rigged is his last 4 years in the whitehouse?

  5. Bottom line, he’s crazy !

    • Alvinius Alviniathan | November 5, 2020 at 9:46 PM | Reply

I agree.. LOSER Trump is doing everything he can to cheat and hold on to power.

    • @Alvinius Alviniathan Cheating Limpwristians will lose in SCOTUS, just like they did in FL with Gore

    • @Alvinius Alviniathan I think Trump has given up on hanging on to power. His only agenda at this point is maximum destruction to America as punishment for not reelecting him.

  7. Trump has sold out this country long enough.

  8. Trump has been sowing doubt in ALL of our institutions since he decided to run for President in 2015!

    • The conspiracy theory con man president.

    • Katherine Raven | November 5, 2020 at 8:58 PM | Reply

Respectfully suggest rewriting and raising the standards….the criteria & prerequisites for candidacy for the role of President

°not being crooked…should be one of them
°having honesty and personal integrity in one’s own life – very !! easily reflected in previous years of life
°background in non profit work….for the actual people who politicians are supposed to represent…should be another

    • Cackles and the Kenyan tried to steal the election in 2016. Ah, but no collusion there, eh?

  9. May the best man win.
    Not talking to you donald.

  10. He wants his supporters to get violent

  11. He can cast doubt all he wants. Biden 300+ landslide. With nevada, georgia, pensylvannia.

    • there’s only like 18k leftto count in GA and trump is up less than 4k – If they are metro votes, you called GA, Biden only needs 59.3%plus one vote to win GA -WOW nail biter – couldn’t be closer (if they are mostly or all metro/burbs votes left to count)

    • Biden is up nearly 4,000,000 votes which is the only criteria which should matter. America has already suffered way too much under evil minority rule. Let’s make America a democracy for the very first time.

    • >98% REPORTED

The first thing I noticed when the president spoke earlier tonight is that he made a lot of accusations with no proof. He began spouting what he would do in this kind of situation a year ago. Count ALL of the ballots. I’m in NC. We have about 95% of the votes counted. I want my vote counted!!!

    • @Karen Byrd trump supporters ignore everything except the most absurd right wing propaganda… thanks to reagan getting rid of the fair information act…. just a bunch of brainwashed morons.

    • You can keep your doctor. You can keep your insurance. And it won’t cost you more…. and of course, my favorite: Let’s just pass the bill, and then we’ll read it.!!! And not a smidge of corruption either.

    • @Doctor Codias ABSOLUTELY NO EQUIVALENCY TO WHAT TRUMP HAS PERPATRATED ON THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, YOU DELUDED TRUMPSTER SIMPLTON.

    • @Daniel Now I’m a moron when all you do is regurgitate exactly what the media told you, word for word, just like Joe Biden.

    • @Armandhammer UH HUH… sure thing skippy. best go tune back in to trumpy, don jr and eric to figure out what to say and do next. too funny.

  13. if you dont trust the voting electoral system let’s go popular vote only and no more waiting

  14. Trump election lawsuits: Sound and fury signifying nothing

  15. Trump is about to reap what he sowed! It is what it is! 😂🥳😷🍻

  16. Republicans: “They’re trying to steal the election by counting the votes!”

  17. When it comes all down to counting the last, large mostly Democratic cities…….all of a sudden the election is rigged.

    • all are welcome to observe in red counties. But not in blue counties.
threats, intimidation by police and poll workers against white monitors.
Yep, no threats there, no rigging. what were they thinking?

  18. Everything was fine when he won the presidency by less than 100 thousand votes! But NOW when he’s losing by more than that!!!! Get my LAWYERS and STOP THE DEMOCRATIC CITIES VOTES!!!
