Joy On Newly Released Insurrection Footage: My Heart Was Pounding Watching It | The ReidOut | MSNBC

  1. trump is so blatantly guilty, he needs to be indicted for murder the first day after he is convicted in the Senate.

    1. @Randy Couch Real Americans are not thugs out for bloody murder. Notice how the shaman insurrectionist, who once called himself a “real american” too is now willing & ready to testify against his leader because he didn’t get a pardon for being a “real.american”. Quackanonsense, aka “qanon”, aka domestic terrorism.

    2. @Maximilian Houk funny, the laws say a lot of things about DJT’s conduct. Can’t wait for all of Letitia James’ indictments.

    3. When historians look back on the trump presidency they will wonder if crack cocaine was given out like free candy to his supporters! You have to be on serious drugs to not see the absolute disaster of the trump presidency! He caused over a half million deaths from lying and doing nothing about the pandemic causing the worst response in the world to trying to overtake government to install himself a dictator of this country! Republicans have lost already. Their voters are leaving the party in groves and the world doesn’t blame them!

  2. While Americans learn of this chilling new evidence, Fox News at the same time wasnt even showing the trial and was instead talking about promoting books and about Valentine’s Day. They did this because they didn’t want the truth to destroy their false narrative that it’s nothing but a political stunt by Democrats. Their viewers know nothing about what happened.

    1. @Maximilian Houk Fox news is too busy getting sued for defamation which is why their anchor man had to walk off the set when a repub started spewing lies about the vote counting machines.

    2. @Maximilian Houk no Fox is currently pleading, more like begging a judge to get them out of a defamation lawsuit, for pushing the propaganda rhetoric about the stolen election, and Dominion ballots.

    3. @Maximilian Houk You’re seeing honest observation by citizens who are getting tired of Republicans jerking each other off. Gaetz, Graham, Boebart, McConnell, Cruz, Goemert, just to name a few jerk offs. This is America, we have more decency and equality than the Republicans care to talk about.

    1. Thank you…..there is yet very positive news three years in process …

The People will prevail as will sanity

    2. Thank you. Please don’t give up on us, we can turn things around here. Hopefully we are starting that process now. Gotta love NZ!

    1. @Noooooooooo DJT was in the air flying to Mar A Lago as per his scheduled flight. He considered himself, as per the undertakings of his flight, to no longer be the President…

    2. @Noooooooooo Wikipedia as a reference…. LMFAO!!! You would’ve been kicked out of every college class I’ve ever been in for citing Wikipedia as a reference. 😆

    3. @DJ Jones Fine the national guard military site.

“The D.C National Guard was formed in 1802 by President Thomas Jefferson to defend the newly created District of Columbia. As such, the Commanding General of the D.C. National Guard is subordinate solely to the President of the United States. This authority to activate the D.C. National Guard has been delegated, by the President, to the Secretary of Defense and further delegated to the Secretary of the Army. The D.C. National Guard is the only National Guard unit, out of all of the 54 states and territories, which reports only to the President. ”

Sheesh you are making this too easy. You should probably quit while you are behind.

    4. @Noooooooooo So, you quote that the National Guard can be sent by other people than the Pres… Good on you!! Way to prove your point!!! 😆 👏 👏

    5. @DJ Jones Looks like reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit.
My point still stands “The mayor of DC has no control over the national guard”

Pres has direct control and it can be delegated to those mentioned. There is no “mayor of dc” in the chain of command.

You are still wrong. The doubling down on idiocy is both sad and troubling you can accept facts right from the source.

      your quote
“He didn’t have the authority under the Constitution unless he declared martial law. Get your facts straight. There is no one to blame for this but the DC mayor who refused to let the National Guard in her city & told her officers to stand down…. Until it was too late and of course she must blame someone else.. Oops Trump of course.”

The president does not need to ask permission to send the national guard to DC from a DC mayor. You do not need to declare “martial law” to send in the National Guard.

You are wrong…consistently. You are an abject lesson on why you should check your sources before offering your wrong opinion.

  3. Republican Senators need to stand up and vote for impeachment. What kind of people are they to know what was done and who orchestrated this? Step up and do the right thing. People fought hand-to-hand combat to protect you all.

    1. Not only that, Americans voted for them all to uphold the constitution and there oath in office. But yet they let everyone down by not doing the just thing

    1. They also stole their slogans from BLM. Blue Lives Matter, All Lives Matter, All Lives Splatter. Too entitled to be creative.

  4. brilliantly said, ty both! every true American felt the same, the horror, the shame that a (now ex) potus would not just set this into motion but watch gleefully as it progressed!

  5. I was close to tears many times today seeing the cold calculating actions and words of DT. I am so thankful for all the people that stood up to trump despite his threats to sic his followers on them, like he did with the police, our representatives and the American people that had to watch it. I was in tears when I called most of the Republican Senators on the 7th, pleading for them to impeach the then president DT. I hope they do!!! Impeach Trump!!!

  6. Both you ladies have done a fantastic reporting on this ! Thank you both ! I think you both are amazing ! 💯👍💐

  7. I totally agree. I cannot believe how these pubs can even continue to pursue their argument after seeing these videos!

  8. I don’t like Pence, I moved to Florida from my home State of Indiana right before he was sworn in and I don’t like Pelosi either but neither of them deserved what Trump incited..

  9. Republicans in that chamber as jurors today many of them also there and voted to impeach Clinton for having an affair in the oval office…..but the insurrection of the capital….well now we should all move on. Disgusting, Disturbing, Deplorable

  10. Joy is absolutely correct… They will find a way to tuck away the shame and will do nothing… I’m hoping the criminal cases mete out some justice and the law suits leave him and his without a cent

    1. Awwww a bunch of Congressmen who sold out this country and reduced the middle class to an ashes are now scared that the people have had enough and are fighting back. Boo Hoo! Oh well, I’m sure they’ll still get their Congressional pension

  11. Mind you. The video footage of what we are seeing is what the Republicans want us to just move on from. GTFOH

  12. Keep in mind Mike Pence was in Dalton Georgia at that stop the steal rally saying ” we will have a powerful voice January 6th”. He was betrayed but he is not innocent.

  13. Today’s presentation has not only shown how close we came to a mass slaughter of our lawmakers, but also the sustained heroic efforts of both the Capitol and the DC police.

  14. “Tuck their shame away”?????? WHAT shame???? Honestly, have you not been paying ANY ATTENTION the past few decades? The Republicans have absolutely no shame whatsoever. They have no CAPACITY for shame. It is as alien to them as peaceful co-existence with flies would be to spiders…..
