Trump thinks that putin has his back. What he doesn’t realize is that putin made an investment, a purchase, that came with certain obligations. On some level trump knows that he doesn’t have a choice in doing putin’s bidding. So he lies to himself and pretends that putin is looking out for him…but ultimately putin is looking out for putin.
