    1. @cindykford ford mitch & this wife have been married 25 years so every one in wash. knows. his children are on twitter speaking out against their father so this will go on & on. one feels helpless because just what can we do? any ideas?

    2. I agree with this statement. However, absolutely nothing will happen to either of them even though they are both extremely corrupt.

    1. @Matthew Smith Good for you! I’ve been doing that on FOX videos for years! That’s three years of using words to screw Trump! You might have seen my comments! Isn’t this fun!

    2. @hpqz You only waste your time teaching others, when you give up trying! You teach no one! Life requires us to try! To Live! Don’t give up!

    1. we can vote them both out in 2020 & i have been going into remarks such as this to let them know who mitch really is & we all VOTE BLUE & take both of them out. ken.has a nice young man to take mitchs place now they just need to vote him in. also mitchs wife from china is in transportation under trump.her father in china is also in transportation, conflict of interest.let wipe the slate clean.

    1. the next time a fake president wins after losing by millions of votes, millions of people must decend on DC

    2. @Carl Bailey your would be dictator, president for life, king and those that support his subversion of the Constitution.

    1. @Maryann Martell God speed! I hope that you guys get him the F out! The entire country will be grateful😀

    1. PIE C I bet you think everyone who disagrees with you is a Russian asset, huh? I can’t believe so many Americans have fallen for the propaganda. smh

    1. @Manuela Costa Lima 30+ years ago this would be a movie that nobody would ever think could happen. Now, it would be a movie based on a true story.

These are times when reality is definitely stranger than fiction. I never thought I’d be alive to see the administration of this beloved country fall by the wayside like this. When Donald Trump’s name was first connected to the 2016 elections, I thought the whole thing was a prank — a sick joke played by the media to get our attention and nothing else. So, I chuckled and shrugged it off. But it wasn’t a joke. Knowing what I knew so far about Trump, the thing quickly became a catastrophe of major proportions. How could the historically conservative GOP want to be represented by one of the most self-centered, dishonest, and fiscally and morally irresponsible individuals in America? Well, if the GOP wanted a rebel to shake things up, that’s precisely what they got — and so much more! The epilogue of this sad saga of international corruption and presidential misdeeds is being written. The movie sets are built, actors have been contracted, and the script is nearly finished. Where will America be when the director says, “Cut. It’s a doozie!” and the cast and extras are dismissed? I guess we just have to wait and see.

Now, they will be taking an oath to hold trump accountable to any obvious evidence of criminal acts with accordance to our constitution. With the Judge (can’t think of his name. Ugh) sitting in, I would love to hear how he plans to drop all charges so to speak.

    1. @deamonomic Do you think I care whether you turn from being morally intact and side with the corrupt GOP?? Whether you’re a liberal, an independent, a democrat …. if you feel some of us are too harsh on the GOP, then go ahead and thriw away your values and join the GOP!! i mean … just by having that sentiment about us being “too harsh” … you’re already half way there with them. Just throw away your values and join them! I don’t care.

…. because all the evidence are there, and the Group Of Prostitutes are ignoring ALL OF IT. So yeah … if you agree with them in treating the impeachment like a joke, go join them! I hear they’re coming up with their own Constitution… they’re calling it the Klanstitution.

    2. james mack Hey James. I’m a conservative and I really appreciate your comments. Too many people operate on “emotions and feelings” rather than logic and facts. Americans need to find what we have in common rather than focusing on our differences.

    3. @T Chaw I’m finding it hard to see any point you made. You don’t care was the only salient point you made.

    1. @Jeff D “Learn the Constitution”. That’s a witty line. I don’t think anyone has ever used a jab like that before. So, add “Learn the”…. Then just add something relevant to the topic. How genius! You Jeff D are a clever fella!
That being stated, I believe I thoroughly explained myself. My goal is not to debate you on Constitutional law, Or interpretation, But to share my thoughts on the reason behind the action.
I know it’s more exciting to argue, and attack others online. You clearly believe we are in a debate about the legalities of when a person has technically been impeached. Showing you may have missed most of what I wrote. Someone might come back with a Jeff D original, and reply “Learn to read”, But that’s your too cool for school line. What I will ask is that you reread my words. Without thinking it’s a personal attack on your reply, And see if you find merit. Liberal news organizations have already started using the line “Recently impeached Trump”.
My one observation is that this is nothing more than a way to sway voters. If you see any other reason, By all means share away.

    2. Spelling mistakes happen. but 2 in such a short statement? And what is even more unforgivable is you said nothing coherent. Gotta love the left. No sense, no logic, and certainly no vision.

    1. I’ve been arguing all along ……
If the Group Of Prostitutes (GOP) hate the CONSTITUTION that much, where they give it very little value, then we all need to agree to just burn the actual historical document and come up with a new one. Maybe call it “The Klanstitution” so the GOP can finally be happy.

    2. @Astrobrant2 You know why only 2 articles? Because the Dems are trying to show the Group Of Prostitutes that they are civil; and because they don’t want to argue all those articles with the GOP for MONTHS, even though the evidence are there. That’s it. It’s definitely not at all that Pelosi and the Democrats are dumb or scared.

    3. @surfpsych I think treason reasonably should be divided into levels of severity, like murder is. By my notion of how it should be leveled, Trump would probably be guilty of third degree treason. A penalty of 10 to 20 years in prison seems appropriate. That would be for “aiding, abetting, encouraging, or rewarding a foreign power in a non-lethal attack — including cyber-attack or misinformation — against the institutions, businesses, infrastructure, citizens, organizations, or orderly processes of the United States at a time when a state of declared war does not exist with that foreign power. This will include impeding investigations into such an attack or attempting to exonerate the foreign power from proven culpability.”

  1. Putins Mitch is a co conspirator with his shiny new russian aluminum plant in his back yard. This is bold brazen corruption

  2. Seems like McConnell is part of the Domestic Enemy of the Constitution that needs expelled from the Senate.

    1. Scooter’s Workbench he will be expelled from the senate in 2020 when all the republicans are voted out of office

    2. He did mention to me that he wouldn’t mind having some time off, maybe work on his fast game, with Trumpington DC THE PRESIDENT THAT WILL BE HERE FOREVER AND EVER, LIKE A WART, CUT IT OFF GROWS BACK Trumpington DC 2020

    1. @JUDITH MORNEAU …why would you vote a President out when he keeps making Deals with China, Japan, EU, Australia, Poland, Hungary. When he earnestly trying to finish building a wall that was started by Californians in 1993. when he gave a Second Chance to Prisoners and moved the Embassy to Jerusalem. Made a bill of $8 Billion for Latino and Black Communities and gave free school access to all. The Ben Carson Housing Project for Black Communities. Mitch McConnell realizes that this President is not Ruling Class and always makes decision that helps the US Economy and empowers the American People.

  3. McConnell is just as corrupt and lawless as the president he protects, so it’s not surprising that he would take a meeting with Trump’s attorneys.

    1. Manuela C L   …………..     Moscow Mitch committing jury nullification . Any other trial , he’d be dismissed NOW !

    2. JoeyFiveandDimes —
Correct. McConnell seems to forget this impeachment scenario has more eyes on it than he knows.

    3. George Costarica —
Thanks, Costarica — and back at you, George. Mine is “Costa Lima,” though, with no connection to countries, territories… or beans. Of course I’m a bit partial, but Costa does have a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? 😄

  4. Recused? No! He admitted that he intends to violate his oath of testimony, therefore he must be removed from the hearings under penalty of prison. I would send the federal marshals after him.

    1. @Canuck Fundy you know what the “of testimony” part of your original comment means, right? You think he’s gonna be testifying?

    2. @Kai T He won’t be testifying, but he will be taking an oath to do his duty in an unbiased, impartial way. He has already said he plans to violate that oath.

    1. @Curia Regis You seem to be excusing the crap Trump pulls because it has made the septic tank overflow, therefore, by your logic, it’s a good thing Trump has diarrhea because now we know the tank was full. Of course, you couch it in more flowery language but you miss the point: a moral nation can not endure a corrupt leader.
Blaming the media is simply intellectual laziness. People know or should know that given media outlets are biased.
It’s been like that forever. In fact, news consumers actively seek out the biases that conform to their worldview. News outlets are businesses so they have to do everything any other business does: find a niche, market a product, and make a profit. The journalistic mantle of objectivity is more of a tradition than anything else. The news consumer needs to be able to think critically about what they hear, see, and read. If they are being misled it’s not for lack of truth. There are often different perspectives, interpretations, motivations, and mitigating factors attendant to complex human behavior. Reporting that focuses in one direction or on one aspect of a leader’s decision or behavior and not another isn’t always dishonest bias; it is the creep of opinion as to what is important in a story vs. what is extraneous. Perfect news reporting would be like a holographic crystal which could be viewed from all sides in full detail. That’s an unattainable ideal. It’s approachable, though, by accessing multiple sources, and, even holding one’s nose and watching or reading “news” that is blatantly biased.
People are all too willing to accept the predigested opinions of their preferred paid pundits and unquestioningly accept the objective “truth” of their preferred news source. You seem to like Latin so for the news consumer, as much as the used car buyer, the rule of thumb one must keep in mind is caveat emptor. Citizens should be looking at multiple sources of news including the original statements of our politicians and then critically evaluating the factors and implications of their leaders statements and actions. That’s how adults make important decisions. People are responsible for informing themselves as best they can from the information available and, these days, there are usually enough articles, videos, podcasts, etc. floating around that sifting the wheat from the chaff and arriving at a picture of reality is not that difficult. Blaming the media, however nicely phrased, is simply an abdication of your own responsibility as an adult to know how to evaluate truth.

    2. @Hapax Palindrome Long winded posts that just obfuscate everything is nice. So many words..So much nothing. Shorten it a bit. Sense is an illusive commodity. Your post demonstrate’s that. Try again.

    3. @Ann Owens …so you refuse to vote for a President who gives a second chance to prisoners. Who has introduced a Bill for $8 Billion to advance Black and Latino Communities including free access to Schools. Finally a President in the White House who is open to new Ideas and pragmatic enough to get thing done. I’m an Engineer and most of my Ideas are in Mathematical form. As for a sack of rocks or being utterly hopeless, I leave that idea in your head.

    4. @Ann Owens Do big words make u feel edumacated? I’m only asking because you make no sense on any level. Typing big words and making a coherent thought are 2 different disciplines. I’ve met by your standards uneducated ppl who make so much more sense than your lofty education, I use that loosely. Sense!!! A very good word. Hyperbole is one you have mastered. Say nothing, articulate nothing, and throw out big words. Yea, I’m impressed.
