    1. @Hue Yang you mean when Mitch refused to hold the impeachment hearings until Biden was in office? That undercuts the majority of whatever you call that outburst of BS…

  1. Raskin blew everyone away. He gave a stunning presentation, it was thoroughly researched, articulate, emotional and sincere. He created a new standard for future law professors to show law students of ‘THIS is how it’s done RIGHT’!
*meanwhile, Trump’s attorneys announce that the VOTERS decided they didn’t want Trump, and elected someone else!
you can’t make this stuff up! hahahahahaha!

  2. I’ve been impressed with Raskin for awhile, but all the dems were extremely compelling.

Of course, any average ability 5 year old knows what 45* did was wrong, extremely dangerous and impeachable; hence why his lawyers were just a complete sophistic farce.

  3. I’m done with so called “Republican Party”. Too much lying and cheating. Changing party affiliation out of EMBARRASSMENT for what used to be conservative. I don’t wish to be associated with these lunatics any longer.

    1. Sorry, far too late. They’ve been this way since at least Reagan (a proto 45*; my WWII generation grandparents gave up on the GOP when that clown was elected) and more like since the 50’s (mccarthyism).
Moreover, conservatism has always been strongly anti-democratic (and thus unAmerican), especially its US strain (remember that the Loyalists to the Crown were the conservatives of the day). It’s not so much a ideology based on moral/intellectual constructs as it is a reactionary force that uses raw power and paternalism against moral, social, political and intellectual progress. Hence the name: CONSERVE tradition (let’s keep humanity stuck in a place where only straight white christian males have any real rights and freedoms; and, further, most forget, where only rich elite landowning white men have any power at all, such as was the case in the US for a long time). Cf. “The Reactionary Mind: Conservatism from Edmund Burke to Donald Trump”
      by Corey Robin or https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/conservatism/

    2. Thanks for waking up to the truth & renouncing insanity. The Repub party has been this way & anti democratic since at least the Reagan years.

  4. At several times Mr. Castor and Mr. Schoen proposed veiled threats to all of the senators, as well as threatened civil war, if the trial were to proceed. Castor was completely lost and chaotic – rambling would be a nice way to put it. Schoen almost made sense a few times, but then went off on whacky tangents that contradicted what he was trying to get at. Weird, just plain weird.

  5. Heart rendering by Raskin testimony. Really awful experience for him and his family to have gone thru. He is a good brave man to stand up and tell the public what he saw and went thru. If the Repulican party let’s Trump go free after this with no conseq ence it will be the end of our democracy as a nation

    1. There is clear video evidence of his statements and tweets going out during and after the riot supporting these domestic terrorists.

    2. @Johann Von Marck And your threatening violence because you don’t like being called stupid is pretty stupid when the video you’re commenting on is about inciting violence because someone can’t deal with the fact he’s a big cry baby. 😅

    3. @Johann Von Marck Is “five across the face” what you greet your hand with then when it’s date night?
      😅😂🤣

  6. Rogues in the GOP …this is your trial and beyond reasonable doubt had you not acted as Trump fixers …this would have never happened

    1. Maybe his defense lawyers know they don’t have to bother putting forth a good case, because they already know that there are not the required 17 Republicans with the backbone needed to vote to impeach him anyway.

    2. @Kylie Pechler Mitch McConnel has removed GOP restrictions…and told republicans they are free to vote their conscience on impeachment…trump will be convicted…

    1. Blue Lives Matter was a racist response to BLM, and when they defaced the flag by removing the red they seem to have removed the honor that the red represents.

Not getting political about police, it’s just food for thought.

  7. If trump is not convicted then the repugnicans authorize the proven user guide for treachery hereafter – starting next week.

    1. @T D remember when creepy jo said he cares about Americans that voted for him and didn’t vote for him guess what open borders and not testing those that are being released in America guess what he doesn’t care about Americans at all he’s almost 100,000 deaths in three weeks he’s going to surpass Trump’s deaths in 3 months wake up morons

  8. The world is watching, so are the bad actors. America will lose the moral high ground if Trump gets off.

  9. Let’s not forget that the only reason the impeachment, which the House voted on before Trump left office, was not sent to trial immediately was because then-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and his fellow Republicans stalled. They break the hypocrisy meter by turning around and claiming that the Senate, therefore, cannot try Trump now.
