  1. Parents need to make the best decision for your children. The government & school boards are making the best decisions given the circumstances. Class size can only be reduced if children don’t go to school. Class sizes just can’t be reduced by 50% with the aha or of a magic wand. It takes time & money to build schools & hire teachers. I don’t know what other options school boards & our government has.

As a father I am taking personal responsibility for my families safety & we will be home schooling for the foreseeable future.

It is ultimately the responsibility of the parents to make decisions that best suit their family. The government can not take over the safety of your family & personally I do not want the government to have ultimate control of my children & my families health & well being.

    PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY!!!!

    1. When you say “We will be home schooling” do you mean you’re going to half days at work so you can teach your kids, or do you mean “I expect my wife to turn into a teacher, only without the 5 years of education”?

  2. It is conservative for you, they get free win every election in Alberta. It doesn’t matter that they work or not .

    1. +imran smd You do realize that the NDP were the government before the last election, right? So no, they don’t win every election.

    2. @bruh that would only be because the dumb dumbs from other provinces come here when their provinces are shitting the bed. Keep the stupid out east, Alberta would be fine.

  3. Some comments be like, “These restrictions are too much!” and other comments like, “These restrictions are not enough!”

    1. Liberal losers will complain about anything and everything. Kids could be in a bubble at school and they would still find a problem

    2. @J Lube Okay, don’t come crying to them then when your ankle biters ends up sick because one kid in their bubble decided to go to a party or has a relative who decided to visit without 2 weeks quarantine. Bubbles won’t stop the virus buddy, it’s only to contain it and make tracing faster.

From yours truly, not a loser liberal, but a filthy socialist.

    3. I don’t cry to anyone because I don’t always want to play the victim like you snowflakes do. If they get sick they get sick and we will deal with it. Have fun living under your rock

    1. @APlaceToBeWithMyThoughts only deadly to anyone who already has a serious health issue, young children Least of all. Lack of socialization is the most serious of isolationism.

    2. Reny Mullen Yup. The overblown response to this has and will continue to create a plethora of more problems

    3. @APlaceToBeWithMyThoughts well alrighty then …..what about mom and dad and maybe granny and gramps the kids come into contact with ?

    4. Elle Pearson anyone who’s immunocompromised or a high risk factor can follow social distance protocols.

  4. Kennedy’s delivery was sooo bad, so bad I could barely stand to watch this 5 minute clip. His constant distracted delivery was again using as fumbled endlessly trying to find something in his notes. Unprepared? Disorganized? Or just a compulsive twitch? Incompetent is the impression this has left me with.

  5. Every child going to school during a pandemic is a canary in a coalmine. Coming at me is just messenger shooting.

  6. we didn’t get our plan from a hat, geez. we asked other jurisdictions what they were doing, and cobbled together a plan. i mean, scientifically assembled a plan.

  7. In the way back days when I learned public speaking I was taught never use words um and ah or er, has this practice ended?

  8. Nobody is at school.. my son is in grade 11 he says most of his class mates are in online schooling he says its 7 to 10 students in his classes but the teachers are being tyrannical with the rules yelling and screaming kicking kids out of classes due to a mask slip. My son is so stressed out I may pull him out and go online. The school needs to chill out.

  9. With regard to saying the children of the province are going to go back to school (against the concerns of several parents and public health experts), “We know there are going to be outbreaks. They are inevitable”……”the successful return to school will be safe”. No contradiction there…nope… perfectly consistent. I hope your children survive.

  10. Maybe Instead of Wasting Taxpayers Money On Government Salary Increases ?? They should Spend it on Our Children ?? I’m sure His children Go to Smaller Class Private Schools….
