  1. Oh the beautiful irony of republicans not being able to confirm their pick before the election because the corona they have been trying to ignore all this time will prevent them from holding the vote. 😅😂🤣

    1. Ro G: Republican senators are coming to the White House one at a time to meet with the new judge.
This is a not a public process, when it should be. it is said American christian evangelists will vote
for a mop if it promised to cancel abortions. What do you think of people with no Christian values
using evangelists to stay in power, when they know they are losing the next election and are just
gaming the court as a way of messing up America? That’s what is happening, unless all those
generals and policemen who hug Trump and kiss him and tell him they love him, come out to help.
I’m just repeating what President Trump said.

    2. @Blair White: A bad move is still a bad move, and trying to be historic with it before the election will never work out, for Washington and the American people.

    1. Scott Allen

Unfortunate for our society, that Mitchell McConnell was born into it with the means to get an education. Without it, a psychopath like him would be doing time – or at least have a criminal record that would put others on notice.

    1. They have done one thing for sure over the past 3 year’s… the 99% has dropped to 90% and they have jumped on the gravy train with The POtuS

    2. Nicole Cordova -yes they established clear violations to the safety of our Nation (apparently like biblical prophets and/or psychics, however way you want to put it.. for this point in time)it’s called the Declaration of Independence and it’s a shame that it is null and void because of all of the government officials that have been elected by “We The People” over the centuries! The POtuS, his administration, and The Republican Party have violated every single thing laid out by our fore father’s!

  2. Everything trump’s GOP does is outrageous and goes against what the actual majority of the nation wants. Yet the KEEP getting away with it. Why?

    1. William Bailey William we saw you hanging around the kids rest room. Why do you always have candy bars with you. We see you

  3. Great point!!! What about PEOPLE that are being evicted, need money for rent food bills etc, bus fare, car, utilities, etc? Why aren’t all those religious evangelical Christian prolife people demanding testing, PPE, money for food banks, Stimulus check, ETC!!! Not one peep from Republicans about helping people!! Just corporations and donors!

    1. They are cherry-picking Christians. They pick and choose Bible verses to justify their moral deficiencies.

    1. @All aboard the Trump Tank no most people don’t want this to be done until after election. Remember democracy, its supposed to express the will of the people. Oh, your a Republican you don’t believe in that, you only believe the compulsive liar and the entertainment news.

    2. What makes you think you qualify as people?  You and your media hacks behave more like rabid animals. And that’s how you should be treated, and will be very soon.

    3. Harry Morgan

Time for your borscht break, Aleksei.
Cute name your shift boss picked for you – mine is Chip Douglas.

    4. @John Coleman A president is elected for four years and this is stated in the constitution he should fill the seat plain and simple. Democrats are pulling at straws that is it.

  4. Should the Republicans not be more worried about roofs over peoples’ heads, food on peoples’ tables and health care in this very trying time. I hope McConnell and all of Trump’s sidekicks are voted out and if they are not the voters are being selfish as they are not thinking of all of America which we need to do when there has been over 214,000 plus deaths and counting and over 300,000 active cases and counting.

Trump says he has recovered and he clearly has not when you visually can see him taking each breath with great effort that is not good and I do not wish him dead but he clearly chooses his pride over his health and it could cost him his life. Even his skin is less orange which is really shocking, unless, he has been wearing make up and he forgot to put it on before leaving the hospital.

    1. @Mike Bernard , a simple creature as you put it is Trump riding around in a sealed up automotive and putting the secret service lives at risk just to wave at people on the street is not only a child like action but criminal. 2 days later he released from the hospital as soon as he is out of the hospital he takes his mask off again putting everybody in the White House that works there at risk for COVID…..

    2. @Mike Litoris Or how about the CDC?

The CDC’s new estimate, for the first time, is broken down by age groups. Here is what the CDC calls its “current best estimate” of chances of dying from the virus if you get infected:

      1 out of 34,000 for ages 0 to 19;

      1 out of 5,000 for ages 20 to 49;

1 out of 200 for ages 50 to 69; and

1 out of 20 for ages 70 and up.

Here’s another way to look at the same numbers. If you get infected, your chances of surviving are as follows:

      Age Group Probability of Survival

      0-19: 99.997%
      20-49: 99.98%
      50-69: 99.5%
      70+: 94.6%

  5. If ALL democrats don’t show up, along with Collins and Murkowsky plus two or three sick GOP senators THAT is not a quorum. It means that constitutionally the senate cannot vote. No quorum, no vote.

    1. @William Bailey They can’t Mcconnell has specifically said they cannot vote at distance, what theyre going to try to do is have them in the wings in isolation

  6. Cant believe anyone would nominate Amy .She’s not a good judge to let her kids around all those smucks at the White house with no mask.

    1. @All aboard the Trump Tank Well I’m smart enough not to be a Supreme Court nominee who would bring their kids maskless to the White House. She used poor judgment and is not fit to be on the highest court in the land. It’s called common sense

    2. @Robin Holbrook You are a fool its like if I skip the line at the grocery store I am not fit to be an accountant because I don’t have integrity there is no correlation she is making judgements based on the constitution get out of here with your dumb strawman argument. Typical democrat pulling at straws and making excuses.

  7. I think trying to stack the Supreme Court in this manner is beyond outrageous. In my opinion we need to find someone similar to RBG in moral ethical and courageous. I feel that it is necessary for the court to be evenly divided in regards to liberalism and conservatism. So ensuring the quality of merits of a case can be determined and constitutionality can be adhered to.

    1. You think Republicans care about fairness? The same Republicans who didn’t allow any witnesses to be heard during Trumps Impeachment? They see politics as a game of sports ball. What they want is to get re-elected, most couldn’t care less about American lives at the end of the day.

  8. She will probably give the entire supreme court covid. This is disgusting and shouldn’t be allowed to happen. Any Republican that supports Trumps agenda knowing what hes doing to the people.Needs to lose their seats.Vote them Out. Losing the affordable care act makes them murderers just like Trump.

  9. If these senators were in critical care, Mitch would ensure, they get wheeled in on their hospital beds to vote … desperado ..

  10. Time to stop being courteous to Republicans. They haven’t been courteous to Democrats in a long, long time. Fight them tooth and nail.

  11. Republicans can’t pass a stimulus bill, and are trying to get rid of the ACA during a pandemic.
But their going to push forward a nominee to Supreme Court?
    WHERE ARE THEIR PRIORITIES?
