  1. At this point it’s not about your ability to choose to have an abortion. It’s your ability as a human to make your own choice being taken away.

    1. @Crazy like a fox What about those who chose not to get pregnant, like victims or rape, incest, women denied access yo contraception, etc.? Are you saying you’re in favour or abortion if the woman didn’t have a choice?

    2. @Conr McKocoa Why then? Legitimately curious why people who oppose reproductive freedoms get to decide when its appropriate and not appropriate. I’m not equipped to determine if a woman carrying a pregnancy to term is healthy for her mentally or physically, or how it will impact her finances. What exactly do you mean by direct harm to mom? Is that by the baby alone, or what about physical violence from a partner who doesn’t want a woman to carry a baby? A woman is the one whose life should be the priority since she’s living an actual life and has real life consequences.

    3. @Brain Jones Really, would you want to live a life being crippled, deformed, and without limbs? I think not, neither would they. These children are not loved and nurtured and turn bitter and usually wind up in prison because they were not wanted or loved. Would you do that to an innocent baby. Don’t forget Brian, you men are goring to have to pay child support for every one of these unwanted, unloved babies for eighteen years. How does that set with your attitude.

    1. The law of the land is the constitution. Every law comes off of that basis. Show me where abortion rights is derived from that.

  2. Is this the making the US great again that they were talking about? How about they focus on things that do not take away people’s rights that also improves the lives of children that are already here?

    1. @Michelle Bobier-Groves all of its special privileges and such need to be gone for better causes that promote the well being of children and families

  3. The civilised world must be viligilant, the American religious right will need to push this on the civilised Europe and the uk, to try to legitimise this evil ruling, we must stand firm and say NO to American pro lifers, and not legitimise this result, we must not let them bully us into banning abortion

  4. Republicans on vaccination:
    _My body, my choice._
    Republicans on abortion:
    _It’s not your choice._

    1. @Paul Teves so don’t pull the my body my choice card that all went out the window during covid…

    2. @BB88 I didn’t make that argument. Someone else did. But the fact of the matter is most people were not forced to give vaccines.

  5. Thinking outlawing abortion will stop unplanned pregnancy is like refusing to give someone an umbrella so they don’t get rained on.

    1. @Pat L abortion was never mentioned in my comment. I was asking a simple question. No need for the stupid comment.

    2. Opera Falcon – Maybe they should give them a condom so they dont get rained on, or maybe a birth control pill.

  6. Amy’s such a great voice of reason. I loved when she said reproductive rights lie with a woman and her doctor not a woman and Ted Cruz.

    1. @Paul Teves why would I want to help her with her trauma? Because it’s the right thing to do. Everyone would agree. You don’t?
That’s quite the assumption you’re making there based on nothing more than your own opinion very clearly.
How does people coming to this nation illegally and having children come into this equation at all? Let’s ditch the straw man arguments and stick to the subject at hand shall we?

    2. @Paul Teves more of a supporter of private groups and local communities doing that kind of work actually. I don’t think that’s really the government’s place.
It also not the governments job to provide healthcare. Again, I would rely more on private communities and local groups for help.
When it comes to trauma, I do think that’s something the state may need to help step in on because it is so specialized being rape and then having a child is very rare and I’m sure would come with particular issues that would need help.
It’s not “your rapists baby” it’s, your baby. Change the thinking. The child did nothing wrong and doesn’t belong to that kind of scum

  7. Of course he accepts the law of the land. When he said that I knew right away that it would be overturned. Why? because they can change the law of the land.

  8. Then also pass a law that the fathers of these children are mandated to DNA testing..So if a married man gets his mistress pregnant..too bad if you’re caught! Make sure these baby daddys pay child support, medical insurance and $ towards unexpected bills.
And no one is saying much about babies being born from incest or rape..drug addicted or special needs children..Be careful what you ask for..you just may get it.no sweeping all the issues under the rug!

  9. This proves Scotus is as political as anything and no longer should be taken seriously since it can change at any time depending on current political regimes!

    1. It is a 🤡 court and deserves ZERO respect! I’m so angry I’ve almost chipped a tooth!

  10. I don’t believe in abortion, but I had to make a decision to terminate a pregnancy where I knew that I could have gone full term , knowing that my baby boy would live no more than 9 days and suffer the whole time.
He was not able to protect his brain from bacteria due to a chromosome disorder where he did not develop his skull.
I was nearly 7 months pregnant and never wanted my child to suffer, nor did I want him to die.
My reasoning to terminate ( abort) was a very thought out decision but knew there was a place for him in heaven.
There is a Lord that tells me that he would never give me more than I can handle and I believe in him.
I feel that IN ALL HONESTY… ANYONE GIVING THE TIME TO DECIDE IF IT’S IN THAT CHILDS BEST INTEREST TO NOT SUFFER IN THIS WORLD WOULD ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE IN GOD.
THIS WORLD IS NOT A PERFECT WORLD.
THESE REPUBLICANS COMPLAIN ABOUT CHILDREN COMING OVER THE BORDER.
IT’S STILL A CHILD SUFFERING, NO MATTER WHERE IT’S ORIGIN .
WHY IN HELL DO THEY WANT TO FIGHT FOR ANYONE NOT READY TO CARE FOR A BABY AND THEN CRY OVER THE MONEY BEING SPENT ON OUR COUNTRY’S BURDEN.
    MAKE UP YOUR DAMN MINDS.
OR START PICKING UP THESE HELPLESS, UNWANTED , SUFFERING SOULS , FIND A REAL HOME FOR EVERY CHILD AND BE PREPARED TO PAY THE TAB FOR EVERY NEEDY BABY , INCLUDING HEALTHCARE, FOOD, SHELTER, DAY CARE , MORE THAN LIKELY MENTAL BEHAVIOR, EDUCATION, CLOTHING AND EVERYTHING YOU’RE FIGHTING TO HELP AMERICANS ALREADY!!!!
OR I HOPE HELPLESS MOTHERS WITH NO WAY TO TAKE CARE OF A CHILD WILL FIND YOUR ADDRESSES AND RING YOUR DOOR BELLS.

    1. So, you do believe a woman should have the right to have an abortion if they deem it necessary.

    2. I feel your incredible energy here in Texas! I could not have said it better! Thank you so much for speaking up for women’s right! I don’t believe in abortions either, but, in my opinion, a man should NEVER have a say on what decisions a woman should or shouldn’t do with their bodies! Amen!

    3. Shevvlyn: May GOD Bless you for sharing your very sorrowful story and all the deep pain you Suffered! You also are so RIGHT IN your your intelligently expressed thoughts. ❗️❤️🙏

    4. Ah, the late term abortion that people act like all expectant mothers have. I’m so sorry you had to go through that. It is a shame a tragedy, like yours, never comes to people’s minds, when they discuss abortion. Every pregnant female should have the right to make her own decision, it should not be made by the state. My older daughter had two very difficult pregnancies, and while I love my grandsons, I support her decision to have no more. Her husband is going to have a vasectomy, so she need not fear another difficult pregnancy. But, not every woman has such a loving, and selfless husband, and should have the right to control their own body, if an unwanted pregnancy arises, or if (god forbid) they are in the position you found yourself in.

    5. Well said, Shevvilyn. I’m so sorry about your beautiful baby. I’ve seen anacephalic babies be born. You absolutely did the right thing for your baby. May God grant you peace. ♥️

  11. If this ruling is sustained same sex marriage is next. If same sex marriage is overturned, it will not be opening a can of worms, but a whole semi truck. There will be custody, tax , property and many more issues.

    1. Gay marriage and killing babies are completely separate issues, your just trying to get more support.

  12. When you’re interviewing someone for a job, and you want them to say they won’t do something, and they imply that they won’t without directly saying so, that’s an indication that they will.

    1. You’d think this is cut&dried! Unreal. Surreal. Thankfully it’s an American thing and us Canucks are above that mentality. Well, most of us, lol.

    2. The interview never mattered the Republicans didn’t give two shots about right from wrong!

  13. The Supreme Court has lost all credibility a long time ago. Women has the right to decide what they want to do with their bodies. Period.

    1. @Crazy like a fox – the ‘baby’ is a clump of cells. That is like claiming your finger is you and has all the rights. Further it is IN HER body, and SHE has a right to that real-estate.

    2. Boy the Supreme Court just boosted
      their credibility, by getting this
      one right….👈😁👍….

  14. Just going to say there is a major separation of church and state argument. Since the attack on Roe vs. Wade is mostly motivated by religions and religious beliefs. It is 90% of the over religious trying to push it.

    1. That’s another law that needs to go before the SCOTUS as it is corrupt too. That statement was based on England’s history of church and state, which is nothing like the form of church in the USA. What is being separated is not church and state but religion and state. Religion is not an organized church, indeed it is multifarious.

  15. They are also criminalizing women who ere pregnant, wanted to keep the future child but lose it through natural process. These women who are traumatised already are now under suspicion and threat of incarceration.

    This is the handmaid’s tale.

  16. I’m so sick and tired of people being “disturbed” by people who are brave enough to “leak” things as big as this!! Let’s get our priorities straight! We have a right to know this so we can vote the way that we need to vote!! Period! The leaker is a hero!!

    1. @Rebecca Valicoff you just said I don’t make sense without justifying it at all
Just shouting “you’re wrong!” at people doesn’t prove any sort of actual point it just looks foolish and idiotic

    2. @Raza Ahmad It is a democratic norm to be INFORMED of what your government is doing. You’re confused.

    3. Mitch in particular is upset at this ‘stunt’. We remember YOUR stunts, Mitch. You don’t get a pass.

  17. Any decision for anyone’s personal health should be made by that person, their family, and their physician. That is what defines it as Protected Health Information. The court should not even be involved in this discussion. More importantly, my faith in the United States Supreme Court could be lost forever as a citizen of this great country. They have lost their legal minds. This will absolutely impact my decision at the poll.

    1. So you agree all abortions should be illegal? “Anyone’s personal health should be made by that person and their physician”. So therefore a mother can’t decide personal health decisions for the life inside of them that isn’t their own. I couldn’t have said it better myself. Also im glad you think courts shouldn’t be involved in these kinds of decisions. They got involved decades ago, now they are relinquishing their involvement and turning it back to where it belongs, in the states.

    2. @Franklin it shouldn’t be in that states hand either. It is in the woman’s hand. End of story.

    3. @pmfloz No amount of you crying, or acting like your opinion is the only one people should care about. “End of story”. Is going to change the outcome. If you are unhappy with your locality, move. Not my problem.

  18. I appreciated hearing Senator Klobuchar’s thoughts on this and agree that it was rather apparent Comey-Barrett had decided long ago that Roe should be overturned. So did Kavanaugh and Alito, apparently. They simply lied to the American people about it until now, or so it seems to me.
