After an emotional day of testimony and a call for a mistrial in Kyle Rittenhouse's murder trial, his defense attorneys will call more witnesses to the stand Thursday to build their self-defense case.

Rittenhouse, 18, is charged with killing two people and wounding a third during violent protests in August 2020 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after a white police officer shot Jacob Blake, a Black man.

Rittenhouse testified Wednesday, at times breaking down in tears, as he recounted the events leading up to the shootings and how he said he feared for his life.

"I didn't do anything wrong. I defended myself," Rittenhouse said.

  1. Don’t try to harm & steal people, especially in a riot.
They might blast you into infinity with only 1 finger.

    1. Dont go across state lines when you’re underage with an illegal rifle pretemdong to ” protect” businesses you don’t own and lying claiming you’re an emt.

    2. @Benjamin Berlinsky crazy how Rittenhouse himself said he doesn’t have the authority to kill people for “rioting”

    1. You truly don’t understand PTSD do you. My father had it when he came home from Korea. Used to sleep with his eyes open and burst into tears or rage spontaneously when reliving anything he went through. It’s caused by various events of trauma and it’s devastating. Kyle will have to live with this for the rest of his life and what we saw was classic PTSD. This kid would’ve been executed in the street because he tried to stop someone from blowing up a gas station and as a result had to defend himself. I watched all the videos and this was a clear case of self-defense. The FBI knew this as well which is why they held their footage for so long. People better wake the hell up because this trial is going to set a precedent for the right to defend yourself. Sadly either way this verdict goes there is going to be backlash
