  1. Conservative here: I disagreed with you most times, but you were always a class act. You did what you did well. Go with God.

    1. Robert Blackford — Liberal here: I just wanted to tell you how impressed I am (not being sarcastic) for your comment and your civility. Most Conservatives, who come to The MSNBC and CNN Threads leave nothing but crude and crass “troll-like” comments. After a while, these statements can become soul-deadening. Your thoughts are appreciated, and your demonstrated class is as well.

  2. My deepest sympathy to her family. So sorry for their loss.
I always looked forward to her opinion on the news of the day.
A solid moderate voice of reason.
Mr. Roberts will be deeply missed. V N

  3. Your journalism belongs to a generation, Cokie. You are a brave stubborn and beautiful rebel, who has a sharp edge of gentleness, and also a magnificent one. we will miss you lot.

  4. For 30 years since came from China, I was educated by her roundtables every sunday morning. The very last time seeing her on TV was back to the presidential election 2016.
I will miss my dear lady so bad……….

  5. I think everyone in DC loved Cokie Roberts. She lived in Bethesda, lovely home, but she said she’d never change the kitchen wallpaper b/c it was the first thing her father would notice as he came up the driveway, in case he came back…. broke my heart. He was in a plane crash in Alaska but I don’t think they ever found him.

  6. Simply eloquent and delivered the news with her southern charm. It is what broadcasting should aspire to emulate. One of my all-time favorites.

  7. My condolences to the family at this most difficult time. Cokie you will be deeply missed. Take a bow in heaven for a job well done. Now take your quiet rest dear sister.

  8. Always a class act and someone to whom I felt a deeply personal connection, though we had never met. I first got acquainted with her through the This Week with David Brinkley tv show in the 1980s. RIP
