  1. Where did this go wrong ? When the PM refused to even talk to the truckers . and then doubled down and sent his armed goons to hurt fellow canadians

  2. Something definitely went wrong when the Emergencies Act was invoked. I hope that’s what this headline is referring to.

  3. I like the way this commission is going. It’s revealing how the lack of public resources fostered an illegal occupation.

    1. @F V I know I’m right…..

(There are Ottawa citizens claiming “ptsd” from the peaceful protest; absolutely pathetic)

    2. @F V yes an agreement to move all the trucks off Wellington street. Trucks started to move then the day before the emergency act was invoked OPS pulled the agreement and blocked the trucks in.

  4. We didn’t need an inquiry to know that. The inquiry is about who will be held formally accountable for this gov’t over reach (and we all know who that is)

    1. @Travis Arthur So you got a “job lul”? BJ’s are not selling like they used to? Move to hongcouver, you’ll fit right in.

  5. OMG, I have never seen so much pointing of fingers and blame as with this emergency act inquiry. I knew ever one was going to blame the police.

  6. This inquiry is not about the police’s work, but the invocation of the emergency act. Nice spin but you’re dishonest and everyone knows it.

    1. @Marcel Charette Where is your evidence that any of the protesters were racist or xenophobic? Because your claim is directly at odds with CSIS’ conclusions following their investigation.

  7. The ineptitude and incompetence of our “leaders” and police shows just how pathetic they were and continue to be

  8. Pissed of Canadians showed their displeasure with the government…… government ignores them….end of story.

  9. The only one that was incompetent was the chief of Ottawa Police; he clearly sided with the Truckers and didn’t want to remove them so he pretended to be powerless.

  10. Everything so far seems to indicate that OPS dropped the ball and that even still, this could have been handled without use of the Emergencies Act. Some of Bell’s answers didn’t seem to make sense.
