    1. Human rights group job in a well run country/ society is to investigate police excesses and state brutality .

  3. Arm the law abiding citizens so they are licensed to defend themselves, look at the states where citizens are allowed to protect themselves, they have the lowest crime rates but those with the strictest gun laws have the highest

  4. Life of innocent person who’s gunned down by criminals, what’s being done to prevent that. Fact is all these criminals fi dead, how much they cost in mental anguish, lost dollars due to the nation being branded unsafe for travel, the stagnation of life liberty and pursuit of happiness of citizens and visitors because of fear and lack of freedom of movement due to crime. The minister deserves a award. His higher standard is the protection of law abiding citizens. Funny how people cry for government to act but when government act they cry that they doing too much.

    1. @Kingsley that is exactly my point but it is all in the name of politics. If we Jamaicans just put the politics aside for one month then we would see how Jamaica nice.

  6. People are frustrated because the justice system takes too long to execute judgment. Put more emphasis on preserving the lives of innocent and law abiding citizens.

    1. Every damn action that’s necessary for daily living takes long in Jamaica. Opening a bank account, getting money from the bank, buying food etc

  7. Tell the criminals to preserve the innocent persons life that doesn’t have anything to do with there feuds… i wish to see the day indecom starts fighting crime and is in confrontations

  12. If i was a police man i was engage in a gunfight with a gunman and he ran out of bullets or otherwise cornered, he/she would be no more screw the law in such situations
