To implement them & nothing else is IDENTICAL to the actions taken by those with the power to act when coal miners started dying of lung cancer in such numbers that it was impossible to ignore the link between the cancer & their workplace! The powers that be told them EXACTLY what you are boasting about Biden telling you now – cover your mouth & nose with a home made cloth covering & you will no longer die of lung cancer/covid. It’s ridiculous! NO country or region has seen a drop in cases after implementing a mandate! On the contrary, almost all have seen a rise in cases directly after, as more people go out, falsely thinking they’re safe, instead of staying home where they are safe!
Cut the political bull! You’ve lost enough lives! Time to wake up! There are PLENTY of examples of competent management from around the world!
Biden spent time during his transition talking to the 2 leading western world leaders about this very topic, but then went on to completely & utterly ignore everything they told him about how to manage it. Zero cases in Australia for 9 days in a row now, 1 case in New Zealand after months of zero cases every single day. BOTH leaders gave their valuable time to Biden to help him on this, along with sending him a tonne of policies & reviews on management plans undertaken (at his request, wasting their valuable time). He had EVERYTHING he needed to drop new cases to near zero from day 1!
& yes, I would expect to see daily case numbers dropping by now if he was doing his job competently! By this time next week, I would expect to see a confirmed downward trend, with cases being less than 10% of their numbers from 2 weeks earlier. 6 weeks from his inauguration, I would expect to see the daily death numbers following that pattern & by 8 weeks in from inauguration, being less than 1/10th the number they were on his first day.
That’s what I would have expected to see, cause I thought he was going to manage it competently. Because he’s so incompetent, what I now expect to see is that next week daily case numbers will be even HIGHER & in 6 weeks, daily death numbers will be even higher! There’s NO EXCUSE for that! Stop giving him a free pass for being a competent political liar!
@Me Here you are right, it will be trumps fault for quite a while as he not only allowed the virus to spin out of control, he actively encouraged the behaviors that caused it to get this bad. The lies, rhetoric, and rallys he held set the foundation for how bad this is going to get. It was trump that lied about the seriousness. It was trump that demonized mask usage, social distancing, and lock downs. Even by March, the damage trump did will not have been undone. So yes, I am not going to blame Biden for the pandemic issues until I see him doing things that make things worse, instead of trying to correct the mistakes that were made.
So, we now have a competent federal government. The problem is vaccination is up to the states, and many are falling down on the job. They should look at how Israel did it, starting with the oldest, then gradually dropping the age requirement, and not being so strict about requirements that vaccine gets wasted.
