  1. If he can tell people to “take Hydroxychloroquine, what have you got to lose…” maybe he can also tell people to “wear a mask, what have you got to lose”
I guess the second one has too much sense for his followers.

    • jcsacnz I is confused

Unmasked at the podium Biden tells people that masks should be mandatory in public. Classic unaware Biden! Do as I say not as I do

    • @15k DOW 2022 the mask is for people you meet, if Biden is 10 feet from anyone then not wearing a mask is ok.

Now that’s Sean Hannity’s job apparently. Notice Faux news is trying to slowly distance themselves from their Golden Ratings Goose.

  3. Trump, ignoramus in charge, doesn’t believe in science.

Remember when he said nuclear was dangerous.

    • Hazel McCloy I remember for the last 49 years, while nuclear has been the safest, cleanest energy option, no one talked about it. I remember 20 years ago when climatology discussion was big. No one talked about nuclear. I remember 10 years ago, when Democrats pandered to the climate change crowd, and offered “efficient solar and wind”. Not nuclear. I remember early 2020, when a bi-partisan Bill was introduced. To “research nuclear energy”, but actually only expanded current general use electricity build for solar and wind. No, but he’s supposed to break all of the molds. The technology has been there for over 40 years. Almost completely clean, extremely safe, abundant energy. But we won’t hear about it until a Democrat needs votes.

    • @Chris Riley What you will be hearing about soon is that we’re going to be in trouble bc the world is shutting us down. Not being able to enter the E.U will cost us on many( economic) levels.Third world African countries are dealing with Covid better than we are.

      @Chris Riley Chernobyl. Fukushima.

    • N. deG that’s funny that you point to Massively Conservative Africa, good people. Other than city centers, where you will find similar infection rates. The rest of the continent is far more rural. As you said “third world”. With no one around to spread the virus.

    • @15k DOW 2022
Biden comes to the podium in a mask. Removes it at the podium, with no one around. Says what he has to say then puts the mask back on.

I challenge you to post a link of Trump wearing a mask at any time.

  5. it’s so hard to believe Trump is actually the President of the USA

    • wesley rodgers | July 1, 2020 at 6:22 AM | Reply

@Chris Riley happy with the outcome?.

    • @Ash Roskell : Try a coup ? The top military leadership have publicly expressed an assessment of him based on direct experience, that in my opinion would result in his coup-on being cashed up.
His support is diminishing nationwide, across the political spectrum.
If he wants to subject himself to ignominiously being dragged out by his bone spurs while throwing a tantrum so be it.
Such a spectacle will earn him the best television ratings he’s ever had.

    • @Chris Riley Almost as if cities are majoritarily democratic, and are more wealthy than republican rural

    • Daniel Schlobach | July 1, 2020 at 8:33 AM | Reply

Chris Riley stop pandering nonsense, this is just a dumb republican talking point that has no basis in fact. Just stop.

    • wesley rodgers yes! Regulation repeal and reform. NAFTA. The dissolution of the Transpacific Partnership. Closer to having a simple flat tax. Flat out proof that no matter how high your office(Hilary). You are not above the law. Looking to another 4 years of it too.

  6. brilliantly said, ty dr maddow. about time, although, it is a bit like ‘locking the barn door after the horse has bolted’. still, it could save lives going forward.

  7. It really puzzles me why the USA hasn’t got a president in this difficult time.

    • With our system of fixed election dates, it is very difficult to get rid of a dud when we are stuck with one.

    • 15k DOW 2022 | July 1, 2020 at 7:00 AM | Reply

Trump is the greatest POTUS maybe so far so you antichrists would of course despise him. Jealousy suits you

    • @15k DOW 2022 Highest unemployement, highest debts, killed more americans than imperial germany, divided the country more than it was during the civil war, keeps denying science, is a racist, is a neo-nazi, wants to protect symbols for neo-nazists.

  8. The question “Why is Trump doing all these incredibly stupid and dangerous things?” may soon be answered if the SCOTUS decides that he should release his taxes like every president before him.

    • Desperation is strong in trump.

    • Chris Riley every president in the modern era.

    • Chris Riley Why would he ? Why wouldn’t he ? Got nothing to hide …right? Or does. .he?🤨

    • Exactly. But we don’t really need to see them. We already know Deutsche is his biggest creditor who has already been implicated in past Russian money laundering. It doesn’t take a genius to see what’s going on.

Only one thing keeps Trump from criticizing mother Russia: MONEY.

    • DUMBEST fkin president ever, criminal moron

@Tammy Mintz Happy Canada Day, Tammy

    • Martin Shillitoe. We in the UK knew our cousins in America must have banged their heads while on the Mayflower! Only in America: if you are a conman/woman or call yourself ‘Reverend’, America is THE place to be. They have the highest *gullibility score in the western world! America: a country where 3.7m people say they have been abducted by aliens, 60% have seen a ghost, 51% believe there is a Bigfoot and 38% believe the world is 6000 years old and reject evolution and most of these voted cretins for TRUMP!

What is considered a mental illness in other western countries, is considered the norm in America.

      * Gullibility is a failure of social intelligence in which a person is easily tricked or manipulated into an ill-advised course of action. It is closely related to credulity, which is the tendency to believe unlikely propositions that are unsupported by evidence.

    • @15k DOW 2022 I’m sure those guns will see off Corona!

    • @angelbabe dawg Thank you…..so far we are doing ok

    • @15k DOW 2022 ironically I dont complain when he make some noise or twit, I just prepare to laugh at his comments

  14. Whoever votes for Trump in November should know that it is a dereliction of duty to the Country

    • brian juma explain to me, if you please, how the Democratic Party is better for a black dude?

    • The Geek Is Strong | July 1, 2020 at 7:13 AM | Reply

@Chris Riley well the leader of the Democrats doesn’t retweet ‘White Power’ videos or share propaganda from a far right organisation like Britain First

    • @Chris Riley No party is perfect but which between the two is willing to lift a hand? which between the two is highly diversified? which between the two is not backing a racist President? Which between the two offered a more meaningful reform on Police force just the other day? Which between the two is more keen on health care reforms especially in light of Covid-19 which has disproportionately affected colored communities?

    • brian juma, brother. Your racism is showing. The goal for diversity is a farce. It should always be, the most qualified candidate for the job. The left continues their racist agenda, day in, day out. You should read some of what Lyndon Johnson has said. When a black person ousts conservatism they are labeled as an “Uncle Tom”. Black voices are constantly censored atm by media. I suggest you check out Candace Owens, Colion Nior, and Larry Elder, they are my personal favorites. Unyielding patriotism, and class. What police reform? Holds? Is that the problem? I don’t think so. The Republican bill had teeth that the democrat bill does not. The democrat bill only has a measure to make a “list”. I ask you, what do you really think that “list” will be used for? The fact that’s this has to even be brought up is incredible, but what we need, is one single rule for police reform. They should not be allowed to fire, until fired upon. Just like our armed forces. That’s it! Shall we talk about the disproportionate amount of black lives lost to gun violence, perpetrated by other black lives? It’s been nothing but pandering for decades. You are right about republicans not offering specific programs to help any specific group, by their identity or otherwise. They want the government limited. That means out of your pocket. Out if your social life. Certainly out of your ability to work. Democrats want control of all of these things. I will be honest and comment on COVID however. The numbers do say that black Americans are disproportionally killed by Covid. Yet, the reason for mortality rates have not changed. Underlying heart/pulmonary disease is still the greatest reason for Covid death. Did the Republican Party create and design this virus to target blacks? Or is this an issue that needs to be taken up with our creator, as f0cked up as it is. No one can do anything about that, believe me, I have to deal with it too. Using that as a tool to talk political division though, is wrong. In essence the left has used the “black” vote as a tool to degrade not only you, but the entire country for years. If you won’t take my word for it. Take in the wisdom of Malcom X, 50 years ago.

    • @Chris Riley Your lack of understanding of issues that affects black community and given the entire GOP is the same is the reason as to why democrats counts on black voters to deliver. Black community was enslaved when they tried to make it on their own things like Tulsa 1921 happened but why would i expect a dimwit racist like you to understand?

  15. 4 years of permanent torture for the US – and the rest of the world (except of some autocratic leaders who take advantage of it).

@15k DOW 2022 i guess you either didnt see the FBI investigations into the identities of the looters and rioters…or possibly you simply refuse to believe it..but FBI investigations revealed that the majority of looters, rioters..fire starters and tire slashers were police in civilian clothes and an anarchist right wing terrorist group called The Bugaloo Boys…and a few non politically affiliated individuals…not Antifa…not democrats. Stop spreading fake news….youre starting to look as stupid as Trump.

    • michael gregory, I shouldn’t speak then.

When Trump or any member of his immediate family gets infected with Covid-19, they do not deserve any medical treatment.

    • Dave Francis Casinillo 80% of people who contact the virus don’t need any attention. So I think he’s good.

    • Dave Francis Casinillo | July 1, 2020 at 5:37 AM | Reply

@Chris Riley that’s what we have to wait and see because Covid-19 does not discriminate whether one is privileged or not. Or they may have the vaccine already and keeping it for themselves and let the rest of humanity suffer.

    • At seventy four Trump is at a much greater risk of death.

    • Allan Gibson | July 1, 2020 at 7:35 AM | Reply

@Chris Riley Unless you are over 70 – the mortality rate rises to 25%. Now how old is Trump?

    • Dave Francis Casinillo that wouldn’t make any sense. In reality those are human lives, but also tax dollars. Allowing them to die would only lighten their pockets. We know no of them wants that.
