And then she was followed by the one asserting that being required to wear masks in public was tantamount to “kneeling on the necks of the people . . .”HELLO! The mask is to protect you from the saliva droplets of others who may be infected with the virus but are asymptomatic spreaders. Learn a lesson from the countries of western Asia whose people kept their curve DOWN, in part because their people complied with the requirement that they wear masks in public!

If a voter can’t get more than half right, their vote doesn’t count, they don’t even have to know. If immigrants who wish to become naturalized citizens have to learn that stuff to earn the right to vote, everyone should have to have basic civics knowledge to keep that privilege. It’s getting to be tyranny of the misguided and misinformed masses. But there are already absurdly long lines for voting. I’m not making any realistic proposal here.

@x X I disagree, my postlady wears a mask and gloves. Most of the gas stations I use have barriers between the attendant and customer while displaying signs that require masks to enter, and some don t. I choose not to use the businesses that don t. I’m in the Brandon area.

The post office near me doesnt even have there signs out suggesting masks or social distancing. They have them all turned sideways up on the front desk put not set out. I guess its my area

Where they have actually tested and traced people. And of course you must be a medical expert on epidemiology? Where things change rapidly? So what works today, might not be what works a week from now. What HAS been shown is that you have less risk of both contracting and passing covid when you where a mask. So whay info do you have from reputable sources that we are missing?
@Kar I know that the test they are using to test for covid isn’t actually testing for covid at all. Look it up the Nobel Peace prize winner that invented this laboratory process said himself it cannot be used to test for any virus. Only supposed to confirm certain enzymes that are present during stages of cancer.

I don’t know, a lot of people that scientists predicted would need ventilators didn’t need them. There were supposed to be shortages of ventilators and hospitals were supposed to be overloaded, requiring those massive medical boats that could house 10,000+ patients, but the most those ever reached was 273.
Chances are, these people will be Asymptomatic if they do contract it. Not much of a reason to fret
