In fact, if we were testing enough, which we are not, we’d be able to work our way toward not many cases. As it is, with the expensive and unreliable patchwork of testing Trump has paid the private sector for, lots of areas are operating in the dark against the spread. Trump has been a miserable failure at protecting Americans.

Trump remains a legend in his misinformed supporters’ minds too. It is a real shame how badly the public education system in the US has failed such a large minority of Americans who are unable to see the truth about Trump and his team of thieving liars.
No past POTUS has had the bar so lowered as to expectations of decent behavior, a good hunk of common knowledge, and an ability to bring Americans together. Trump behaves like total boor both at home and on the world stage and his supporters think it’s hunky-dory, which it is not.
