@Daniel Whyatt The Ukrainian army still have to be trained on how to use the newer Western artillery. They’ve only ever used old Soviet/Russian stuff. Training takes time.

They’ll notice the arrival when Russian artillery starts getting rained on by 155mm shells a couple of minutes after they fire a salvo. We sent them counter-battery systems too.
I REALLY like the French Caesar.. It has an extra 10Km range over the towed M777 and the German tracked & armored one (which is like a really upgraded US Paladin)… And it can REALLY saturate an area with its quick fire (like the German one…). Plus its FAST… Up to 100Km/h on roads and 50Km/h on soft terrain like a Ukrainian farm field (its got special tires with variable pressure)…
And they can get there by themselves if the trains get taken out.. The M777s have to be towed and the German G2000 have to be put on flatbeds for long range transport.

that’s not really correct. The m777 is made from titanium. it’s designed to be moved by helicopter. Air mobile can take them very fast to where they are needed. Faster than tracked infantry.

A 155mm howitzer has a range of 20 miles. An M124 HIMAR missile system has a range of 185 miles. The HIMAR is what you need, Mr. Mayor.

You do know he played being a president for TV show, and the director/producer of that same show is his first adviser today. They have a full production team working in their office building. Their is a clip of Zelenski at the front line near donetsk, he tried to get the Azov soldiers to stop, drop they weapons. The guy argued with Zelenski to the point he had to walk off. The news paper bad mouthed Zelenski for being rude to the war hero. Yep great leader right there, his own army disobey him to keep fighting a war with donetsk. I wonder where that soldier is now
And now all like to capture a shine for their own by his glow. But they are not the same. They just juse his glory. He must have great future in the further building of Europe and western thinking.

It’s truly frustrating that we can’t (or won’t) do more, knowing that an rogue state with expansionist goals is shelling the entirety of a sovereign nation.
Let’s hope that by the time the weapons arrive there will still be a sufficiently strong Ukranian army that can use them rather than a Russian army who will simply seize them.
