    1. does one seat between you and others really help? air travel was never “healthy”

  1. Perfect way to put the final dagger in this industry for a while.
Just need one outbreak traced back to a plane, and that bankruptcy will be imminent.

  2. They are going broke. I wouldn’t fly currently. I would be afraid of what cuts on safety have been made so the CEOs can bank a normal pay cheque. The world needs new companies that create safe air travel.

  3. The fact of the matter is there is no airline in Canada that offers to block the middle seat for free. if you want, you can fly Flair and pay for the middle seat to be blocked. Also important that whether or not the middle seat is blocked, you cannot keep 2m between you and everyone else on an airplane.

  4. And when the next planeload has an outbreak, the whole industry will collapse. Its sad for those working in the industry, but it’s toast. Covid is ruining everything.

  5. At some point you have to let these companies fail and stop bailing them out. The average taxpayer gets nothing for helping these companies.

  6. It is all about profit. If both Air Canada and WestJet continuously social distance inside the airplanes, they could go bankrupt.
