  1. Hey MAGATs.. how’s that whole “Make America Great Again”-thing going for you?

About like the rest of us expected.

    1. No one else is trying to stop the looting and stealing. Trump will stop it and get order back in our cities

    2. @Brooksie Terrell guess who believes the lies of a known lying cheating nassasitic con man.

  2. The poll is only takin from 706 citizens, imagine if they were able to get everybody’s vote!!!

    1. @Alex Sanchez Well, since they directly report the sample size of the poll and its margin of error, it’s about as far from misleading as reporting on a poll could be. It might surprise you to learn that most national polls you see in the news or in other research are based on samples of around 800-1200 Americans. This is just because of the statistical nature of polling: If you RANDOMLY select 1000 people from the national population to survey, you can actually be quite confident that the results in your survey mirror the results across the whole nation.

Much like it is exponentially less likely to flip a coin 1000 times and get 1000 heads than it is to get around 500 heads, each additional person included in your random sample exponentially decreases the likelihood that the sample as a whole is significantly biased. For example, if you only polled 20 people, you could easily end up with 15 democrats and 5 republicans, so you could end up with some very skewed polling results, but if you randomly poll 700 or 1000 people, the likelihood that you have a substantially skewed sample one way or the other goes way down. In fact, assuming a 50/50 split between democrats and republicans, if you grab a random sample of 1000 people there’s about a 95% chance that there are no more than 525 people of one party in that sample. There’s always some infinitesimal chance that a poll with 100’s of randomly selected, nationally representative respondents is significantly biased, but since that’s about as likely as flipping heads 800 out of 1000 times, we typically define a margin of error based on numbers which we can be 95% confident in and call it a day.

You calculate a poll’s margin of error based on its sample size and the population size, so when a poll sampling 706 people reports a 4.2% margin of error, then you can be 95% confident that the opinions of the 330 million people in the national population are within 4.2% of those of the 706 people surveyed. Given that a random subset of Americans were polled, it is very likely that between 27.8 and 36.2 percent of the nation approve of Trump’s handling of the response to Floyd’s death. 32% is likely a good rough estimate.

For a survey and its reported margin of error to be accurate, it is actually pretty important that the sample is truly randomly selected from the group whose opinions you’re trying to gauge, so if you’re still skeptical of the poll maybe you could read some more about how ABC polls do their random sampling here: https://www.ipsos.com/en/ipsos-encyclopedia-random-probability-sampling.

    2. @Dalcassian you actually are talking about trickledown. Lower the taxes so the companies hire more people and earn so much that they’re willing to increase wages.
That’s the whole idea of it.
The companies outsource whenever they can anyways. Hasn’t changed under trump or bush jr or bush sr (God rest his soul) or reagan.

    3. @Dalcassian Companies don’t vote, lol, in spite of Citizens United making corporations ” people”. What you mean is the people who work for companies may vote for Democrats.

    4. @Karen Byrd obviously I was referring to CEOs of corporations. Why would you think I was referring to a non-person entity?

    5. Imagine, it would be worse than with hillary, it would Trump 10…. Biden 2…watch and see!!!!

    1. @April Lambert the closes Trump having a landslide is if he gets caught in a real landslide! Trump 2020 in a really small jail awaiting trials!

    2. @Markus Stewart
      NO, Why would I?
I dont recall a rioting mob, none, not one video of rioting, looting, or arson.

when they begin to loot I support the police to SLLT 1st and ask questions if they live!

    1. They polled 700 people on a global paid survey website. Not an accurate reflection of 350,000,000 Americans

    2. people who arent racist morons making excuses for burning down business after wanting martial law over a virus that inflicts less than 1% of the population.

    3. William Penn jr. property? Trump Tower, he does protect. Lives? He does protect white supremacy lives.

    1. If you are foolish enough to believe that the country will survive another 4 years of Trump, you either want to live in a police state or should move to one. Russia sounds like a plausible place to move.

    2. It’s estimated by biblical scholar’s, that upon Christ return.
One third of the world population will perish.
With leaders like Trump in Power, no wonder.
      Dumptrump!2020!!!

  3. Susan Collins will be known as the biggest fool in the Senate for saying she thought Trump would change!

    1. xyzzyxf I do not believe he has changed and I don’t believe he can change. He is a conman and can be what ever you need him to be. Unfortunately nobody close to him wants him to be good.

    2. Ellen Peba No, Americans will not sit out this time. We only need 4% more people voting and then he is out. I will be one who will cast a vote for Biden if he is the Democrats candidate (or who ever will be the Democrats candidate)

      No more GOP.

    1. Putin hasn’t asked for all of it yet, once Syria is sorted he will get Trump top pass over Iraq when it calms down.

    2. To be honest, so much has happened just over the last week or so, that even injecting disinfectants seems like ten years ago.

  4. Take care, vote however you’re able, even if you have to show up at the voting booth in Medieval armor and a diving helmet.

    1. @Monte Stu no zippy stop watching ONA it’s 30% and falling so I’m sorry you’re living in denial!

  5. 32% must be natzi!!!
He’s a monster who at very least needs to be restrained until he’s thrown out in NOVEMBER!!!!!!
    #NOTMYPRESIDENT

    1. President trump is the best president that America has ever had. God bless Donald Trump.

  6. Why American voters ever trusted this man, who has walked on the backs of the average his entire life, has amazed me for three plus years.

    1. He lost the popular vote by millions, dont blame the American people. Most know he is a fraud.

  7. “The only creatures that do not know a pig when they see one, are the PIGS themselves” Socrates

    1. @Ron Wuerch so is this sick divided America your idea of GREAT
You follow lies and pretend it’s OK

    2. @Marlowe Dugger sry to burst ur bubble Manafort, Cohen got popped for tax evasion, other crimes committed yrs prior to joining Trumps campaign … u failed to mention the Ham sandwich they also convicted lol c’mon 12 russians? the ones who will never see the inside of a US jail lol funny they didnt even know or knew their names!!
did you not hear about the Mueller report …”The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election,” … 😀 i gave u a factual answer ..please do research, u seem very misinformed !!

    3. @tuco james I was just saying All of them were affiliated with criminal Trump. So I did not fail. I spoke on the company he keeps.

    4. @Marlowe Dugger was reading about Pinedo ..according to a few articles…he had nothing to do with Trump ..u need to research these ppl 😀

    5. @Marlowe Dugger how is Trump a criminal if there was no crime? …didnt you read what the Mueller report and special investigation reports concluded? 😀 so according to ur logic if your neighbor, Dr., or plumber gets popped for a crime …ure also involved? lol 😀 Flynn worked for obama longer than Trump? lol

  8. *”The Chosen One” is happy today because unemployment is at 13.3%. This is pathetic* 😑
