Marc Garneau ran against Trudeau in 2013 for the leadership. I still think he’d have been better in the job.

He was a disaster in the Ministry of Transport sucking up to Air Canada while it sat on $10B of consumer’s ticket money during COVID, and while he was the Foreign Minister we were forgotten in the AUSUKUS treaty.
