    1. keesha b you’re literally airing your opinions on YouTube and acting like you’re superior because you’re not on Facebook. 😂

    2. @Dench2020 Rather unfair to target only one person in this thread. I too said i did not subscribe to Facebook. Take care and keep safe. 🙂

    3. @keesha b 👍🏻 I’ve never used FB. I prefer to communicate with my family and friends and hear their voices it’s amazing how much more gratifying it is. I actually still send hand written BD and Christmas cards WOW 🤩 what an awesome concept.

    4. It is no longer fun or interesting in any way. So many advertisements I can’t see the posts from friends. It just is outdated and someone should come up with another idea!

    1. Agreed, now we just have to get a decent percentage of the 2.2 billion users to join in the boycott which be a few hundred million? Unless you start a Facebook group called boycott Facebook and do sponsored ads on Facebook I doubt you’ll get enough people to make it even barely effective.

Unfortunately governmental oversight or people coming to their senses (both wildly unlikely) are just two of the very few options left to us.

    2. Boycott most businesses and CEOs they voted for trump and caused all this chaos
We KNOW who those businesses are
      Goya
      NFL
      Tesla
      Fakebook
      Papa johns

  1. That’s why I didged my F.B. account some two years ago. Zuckerberg is just as greedy as Trump. He, just like Trump, has no conscience, no empathy and no ability to self reflection.

    1. @Johnny one I bet every American would happily give away their $400k salary, in return for the $140 MILLION that Trump has taken in its place. He’s not lost a billion, his business has earned more in 3 years He’s been president, than the 10 before it.

    2. @Dave Ponsford Steve Mathison well I am going off Google and Google is owned by that Nazi George Soros that’s so involved with the Democrat Party.

    3. @Johnny one Soros owns the Internet, every device to access the Internet and everything people have. You’ll have to go to Russia or North Korea to avoid him. Its pathetically hilarious how you think that a deranged delusional comment means something because you put Soros.

    4. @Dave Ponsford Soros worked with the Nazis turning in his own people and has publicly stated his life’s mission is to destroy America. That includes you dummy!PS no one owns the internet it’s impossible stupid.

    1. I agree. But then what do you do with the supreme tenants of America economics? Like capitalism, consumerism, and free market trade?

    2. What makes FB any different than this very platform you’re using now? Should this also be ‘regulated’…

Personally..if you don’t like the “policies” of a given platform, whether it’s Facebook/InstaGram/Snapchat/Youtube…DON’T USE IT!

  2. Never had a Facebook account. Didn’t want people I didn’t want to deal with having easy access to find, then be able to annoy me. If we were real friends, you already had my direct information to contact me.

    1. @Itz An Opinion or it’s because they don’t have a need to use it just because somebody doesn’t like what you’re obsessed with doesn’t mean they’re weird they’re 7 and 1/2 billion people on the planet dummy we’re all different

    1. Me too and that’s the remarkable part. After 9 years I thought there’d be abigger attachment harder to break. But nope, haven’t missed it.

    1. @1776 c Yet another troll/ continue to click on a progressive channel to attack people /GTFOH-trolling the reply section with your lies and misinformation madness.

    2. I have noticed liberal siding people starting to address stuff like what 1776 c said as disinformation, in a similar way to what FOX supporters do, calling something they disagree with “fake news”. So let me meet that false claim with facts. Here is a link to a fact check of QAnon violence with sources: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/aug/24/greg-gutfeld/qanon-hoax-has-been-linked-violence-fox-news-greg-/
Here is a study on Antifa violence (which stands for anti-fascism, which was something I thought everyone supported): https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.wbur.org/hereandnow/2020/06/11/what-is-antifa-trump-protests. I predict that your response to these will be a denial. Have a good day.

    1. @charles allan LOL! You’re a hypocrite!

      Why?

Because YOUTUBE is a social media platform but yet here you are…dropping a comment on one social media platform, complaining about another social media platform!

    1. *_Trump is highly skilled at the art of the con.  “Con” is short for confidence, and it is based on gaining confidence or trust from the potential victim.  The skilled con is an expert at “baiting” the rube . . . telling the target what he wants to hear as the “bait”, inspiring trust or confidence.  Trump is truly a dedicated master baiter, spending a great deal of time each day master baiting his base._*

    2. @John Edward Trump thinks a sycophant is an elephant that is under the weather. If you take a couple of long underwear union suits and put ’em in a big clothes dryer down at the laundromat, he’ll think he’s watching wrestling on TV. _And after he found out vegetarians eat vegetables, he won’t go near a humanitarian._

    3. @jones Sorry that your candidate cant master bait his base, he is only interested in sniffing preteen girls’ hair…

    4. @Dr. Deplorable So nice of you to care. Sorry you and your deranged orange balloon animal god are at the bottom of the morality food chain and have rejected democracy, compassion, honesty and decency in favor of hatred, betrayal, treason, racism and a ludicrous and futile attempt to turn the USA into North Korea and sell us out to Putin. How has it worked out for prior enemies of the USA? Good luck, fuckwit.

  3. Why does anyone bother with Facebook? It was intended as a gossip forum for college students. Unimportant. F Facebook.

    1. @Itz An Opinion As you very well know, YouTube does not function in the same way as Facebook or Twitter. It’s a just a library of videos that people comment upon. Facebook is internet pus

  4. I’m old school. I prefer to pick up the phone and call someone instead. I never liked Facebook and I have no use for the service.

    1. Umm…guess what? The same marketing strategies used by Facebook….are also used by Google/Youtube….And if you’re old school, why are you using THIS PARTICULAR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM CALLED ‘YOUTUBE’ to drop a comment? WHy not just pick up the phone and call someone to let them know how you feel?

      See..it goes both ways..but the uneducated/uninformed are just that….

    1. Same here. I’d rather sign up to be punched in the face every month by Mike Tyson than use their platform again.

    2. @Hermione Green I never signed up for either. I’ve come close a few times to quitting YT too, when they mess with the algorithm for the umpteenth time, but only ever make it worse. The content creators keep me here.

    1. America needs to enforce its antitrust laws and break these tech companies along with Amazon, Walmart, Starbucks and the like.
This is no longer a free market economy and hasn’t been for awhile.

    1. @frances simmondsIt is🌺 impossible that 🌺you did not🍁 see this Ä 🌹ḧöŕŕïḟïċ ċŕïṃệ ä ḳńïḟệ äẗẗäċḳ öń äń ệŀďệŕŀÿ🌹 jệẅệŀŕÿ ṩẗöŕệ öẅńệŕ 👉 dai.ly/x7vq4m4 👈🌺 j

    2. S҉H҉O҉W҉F҉ D҉Z҉ not sure what nuttiness you’re on about. I like the quote which made me fancy reading some Voltaire. Do you have an issue with that?

    3. @frances simmonds The gun toting nut jobs, trying to show us how America will not be safe under Joe??? bwahahahaha I don’t know where these fools been for the last 30yrs, but it’s obvious now–Not in reality!!! They’ve been killing folks for years–now the Gun is being turned on them!!!

    1. I find that excessive use of social media also rubs off on me, and it made me an extremely toxic person, so I quit Roblox, video games, excess use of discord, and more. It really helped, and I would only ever use social media to advertise my business.

    2. Josef
Well if it is the hater brought the hatred that people have for him on himself. He create a hostile environment in our Country . He is not worthy of anyone liking him or even respecting him . This man is evil and toxic he has killed that in so many words . Look how his ruined the constitution and the rule of law with his lap dogs . He is full of hatred and destroys everything he touches . Truthfully I despise this racist orange face .

    3. @Renate Rädler I love whatsapp for the last 9 years – before Zuckerface bought it. I barely use facebook. Not even sure how they make any money off me.

    4. @Pepe the Frog ..good on you. That’s what im gonna do. Use it only for biz adverts not personal. Zuckerberg is a freaky robot reptilian anyway. such a weirdo.

  5. Zuckerberg’s going to learn why it’s not a good idea to have that many people disconnected from reality. I wonder if he’ll even care when entire countries are on fire.

    1. Blame trump and the Republicans for that (and the Gullibility and ignorance of the people who voted for them).

    1. In the UK there is a limit on political advertising yet people reported getting specific targetted adverts during Brexit. The adverts targetted vulnerable people with lies telling them Turkey was about to get full entry to the EU and millions of Turks would move to the UK taking jobs and changing the cultural landscape. This was all lies but Facebook refused to give details on how many adverts went out and who places them etc. It is believed it was Putin as Russia benefits from the E.U. being weaker.
This is, of course, happening in the USA also. Targetted false adverts that do not need to meet advertising standards and there is no record of them afterwards. People see them in their feed and then they disappear from the site. Unless you photograph them no one ever knows about them and definitely not how many there were.

    2. @THE JACK HQ Good one, I did the same a couple of years ago and haven’t been back …Be aware though, all your information is still stored on FB and you never really ‘leave or quite FaceBook’ the account and all your info isn’t just deleted, it is stored..
I just remembered it wasn’t just a straight forward thing to shut my account down, they have all these hoops for you to jump through and iirc the ‘close account button’ wasn’t out in the open either, it was 2 or 3 steps before I even found it.
