  1. That eulogy was something else, and if we can predict how someone will do only by that we should expect great things from her.

    1. look im for new and young congress officials, but im also tired of families getting to the same field of politics. She definitely has what it takes, but I personally feel we should have someone else and stop one party controls for each district.

  2. This is far from the normal case of someone taking on the role of a deceased spouse. Her accomplishments are as numerous as they are impressive. It’s a shame, though, that our understanding of cancer remains so primitive as to make the procedure she’s about to undergo a common-sense option.

  3. Thank you, Dr. Rachel, and to Dr. Rockeymoore-Cummings, for pickin’ up Elijah’s torch!
All the best for the operation!

  4. I wish I lived in Baltimore. She would get my vote. She is so intelligent, articulate and lovely. I think she would be a great congressional rep. Best wishes to Maya in her health battles. And thanks for running.

    1. Selfless? She’s taking advantage of her husbands good name for her own political agenda.
Elijah was a great man, but it’s time for someone new, who will win because of policy, not of her last name.

    2. @Sancho Ditherson Look I am a progressive myself, but I want to be consistent.
I remember my liberal friends shaming Bush for leeching off his dad’s success.
These people need to be consistent too and not praise Cummings’ widow for leeching off the success of her husband.

  5. i’m not much of a religious man, but if there is a god I hope he will shine favorably upon her, bless her and everything she is about.

  6. Mya for Congress live her wish she were running for president 😁she has my full support and may her surgery be blessed 💝
