  1. He needs to *LEAVE!* All he does is *LIE* and expects the American people to believe them. *GO AWAY MITCH YOU’RE DONE!!*

    1. He didn’t lie in that speech. And he never once said anything misleading. He merely spelled out what happens if the filibuster is nuked and what would happen when (not if) the Republicans would win back the Senate. I don’t think you listened to the entirety of speech either. For the record I don’t support either of these filthy, corrupt parties. George Washington warned us about them in his farewell address. You should read it sometime.

    2. @Don Queen “anything misleading.” So, when he blamed trump for the insurrection yet didn’t vote to convict…? Lol

    1. You should for now at least.

      Midterms are coming up
Historically any party that controls both chambers of congress and the white house lose a chamber in congress

The Senate by the way Republicans are 2-3 seats short of control

I’d take Republicans serious if I was you
      Or don’t
Watch President Biden aka Houseplant become a lame duck

      But hey Good luck

    1. @Edward Gensheimer well yes but honestly unless your actually a politician or a member of congress that’s read the bill you really don’t know where that other money is going to your just speculating

    2. Zed..I agree…He needs to accept the reality. He enjoyed his life being sooo POWERFUL. This time is different..GOD IS GOOD !!!..GOD IS FAIR..Thanks for sharing your thoughts ZED..GOD BLESS AMERICA..PEACE…💝

  2. Mitch has had his years of destructing and removing democracy. Now it’s time for the Dems to clean up his mess, once again.

    1. I’m a conservative but I have no use for the piece of garbage. Or any Dims in the Senate except for Manchin. Only a few Republicans are any good either.

    2. To the opening statement

It time for Democrats and Republicans to have term limits so when the mess you speak of get cleaned up finnaly ,there shouldn’t be another mess for a long time

  3. I am always amazed when Moscow Mitch summons up the temerity to lecture Democrats on democracy, democratic process, fairness, morality, or any other of the dozens of subjects upon which he can apparently pontificate with a straight face, and without bursting into flames. You would think that it would show on at least one of his two faces.

  4. Man, talk about throwing a tantrum. “If I can’t be in charge, nobody can!” Go home, you’re way past your expiration date.

    1. @Bowhunter D2
      Sorry .That’s a republican thing.
The right insists on electing all these spoiled little pricks who throw Tantrums when they don’t get their way- and then they applaud it!

  5. The SOB wants respect for the Minority party, now that he’s in that category. But a few months ago, as Senate Majority Leader, he gave no respect to the Minority. F him!

    1. except that he does make a lot of sense and they did all the things they did a few months ago with the filibuster in place. imagine trump in power in 4 years and this tool is stripped from the senate. say goodbye to the republic.

    2. U giys let trumo do anything…now its an iddue with democrays passing anything. Now u know what it feels.

    1. Well they didn’t get rid of the filibuster in the past four years, despite what Trump wanted. So that is the literal definition of allowing cooperation. Please tell me, what happens when R’s get the bare majority in both houses of congress and wins the WH again? Would you want the filibuster back?

    2. @KingNicotine “And the Democrats have been cooperative” i am saying, that mitch should not use that argument, if he and his side are not willing to cooperate on stuff. not saying any where that the dems. have done the same.

    3. @DigitalDog …at this point the only thing I can ask you is to see what you’re asking the GOP to “cooperate” with. Democrats have called to defund the police…Portland defunded their police…since then there has been a 2000% rise in homicides. How do you “cooperate” with that? Just today 17 Democrats flipped their position on current gun control legislation…stating that they don’t want ICE alerted when an illegal immigrant attempts to purchase a firearm. How do you “cooperate” with that? The recent stimulus bill….I read all 500+ pages of that…did you know that of that 1.9 TRILLION dollars…only about 5 billion actually goes to people and small business? The rest goes to government bureaucracies, University systems…there are even museums and other entities that already receive government funding…in short…the majority of that “stimulus” is pork. How does one “cooperate” with those kinds of things in good faith? The answer…they don’t.

My point is this…you can say Mitch shouldn’t use the argument…but this isn’t about Republicans not “cooperating” with Democrats….this is about Democrats trying to seize total control by any means necessary…all the while saying they’re doing it for “Democracy.”

  6. From the man who smiled when he said he would stop all of Obama’s legislation. Go back to the ORIGINAL filibuster, get up and explain your opposition to a bill, not just file a paper!!!

    1. @Jeff Plamenig also who said RBG was good for the court? Republicans didn’t like her so why would that be good for us?

    2. @Mass Fire oh yeeesh! Are you for real? Ginsburgh was a pillar of the community who fought her entire life for women’s rights so they wouldn’t be treated like second class citizens anymore. Do you ever read?

    3. @Jeff Plamenig Yeah I do read. What about Sandra day O’Connor? You know, the FIRST woman in the Supreme Court, she showed justice and fought for equality. Hell, she was the first woman in the SCOTUS. RBG is only looked at as a hero because she’s a Democrat, if she was republican no one would be praising her. I still have outmost respect for her and think it’s awful that she died. She was a great woman in her normal life. But on the political spectrum she was obviously not a good thing for the Republican Party.

    4. @Mass Fire the republitards have dug a hole for themselves so deep, they will never get out. tRUMP destroyed the party with his constant lying and greed. He was never a president to anyone. Just a failed businessman/con-man looking to squeeze as much money out of his position as possible. History will not be kind to him. Be embarrassed if are a black man who supports him. He never supported you!!!!!

    5. @STARxLORD says the party who absolutely refuses to give women equal pay for equal work. You people vote that down every single time. Screw all of you!

  7. Moscow Mitch saying this nonsense from his mouth??? Is he so short sighted about the things he did just yesterday???

    1. he doesn’t want to get rid of it because it stalls anything from actually getting done in the senate. when will you all realize Mitch doesn’t want ANYTHING to get done even if it’s a Republican House, Senate and WH.

    2. @!that guy that’s not what was being discussed here? But since you brought it up, technically it’s called an “ammendment” soooo

    1. @SuperDave Miorgan Do you deny the (easily searchable) fact then the filibuster did not used to be this easy? Rule changes made it so easy that the filibuster currently only barely resembles what it used to be for most of its history. Its a bastardized form of what it used to be which has ground Washington to a halt as a result

    2. You obviously don’t understand the filibuster and you don’t understand the power Mitch McConnell has. 😘but watch

    3. In 2013, Harry Reid invoked the nuclear option on cabinet appointments and judicial appointments below the Supreme Court. At the time, McConnell warned them of this, but they went ahead and did it anyway. In 2017, McConnell, following his warning to the Democrats for invoking the nuclear option, adding Supreme Court justices to that rule. He made the same warning as a young Senator in 1987 after the Democrat-controlled Senate blocked the nomination of Robert Bork when he said that if the Republicans had power and the President sent a nominee that they didn’t like, they would block it, which is exactly what he did with Garland. I know y’all think he’s a snake, but he followed through with his promises every time and it makes y’all so mad and I love every second of it!

    1. @Flame I make it a point hear everyone out and research things myself before I make a comment. This is someone’s lively hood. Everything about Joe Biden has been proven. His family is in deep trouble. The republicans have no power right now. Not to worry… the Democratic Party is going to get rid of Joe before the republicans have a chance. It’s coming sooner than you think.
I wish it weren’t true. It would be nice to have at least one good person in politics. Pay close attention to who is really running the presidency right now.

    2. @Lugina Brown Wdym by “get rid of Joe”
Also this just sounds like conspiracies… Republicans may not have power, but they have a VOICE. They can literally introduce articles of impeachment, show the evidence to the American people, and Dems can’t do anything to stop that. So why don’t they? Because there is no evidence. It’s all propaganda and lies.

Also look at Cuomo. What did Cuomo do? He forced people with COVID to stay in nursing homes and he is getting accused (no evidence) of sexual harrassment. Compared to what you are accusing Joe Biden of, that is nothing. Yet Cuomo is already facing backlash from non-establishment Dems who are calling for his resignation. Do you really think nobody is holding Dems accountable?

    3. Deanna you are right about prosecuting those who are corrupt. His wife left her most recent job in a hurry didn’t she? Transportation? really? WTF? Their air around them both STINKS. I don’t need to know the charges, I know the man (Mitch) by watching him for over a decade.

  8. This is the same man who PROUDLY carried the “Grim Reaper” tag for not letting anything on the floor to vote that was not to his partys liking.

    1. @OverlandMD B And yet you still provide NO examples because there are none. If you KNOW there was fraud, but also know there wasn’t enough to affect the election, then why in the hell are you stuck on that bs point? wtf

    2. @Bill Hodge There is plenty of examples someone has been convicted of voter fraud in almost every election sense 1980 what I was saying is you said there was none which is false just like his accusation is false stating that it was enough to over turn the election but if you are going to debate someone you should know the facts

    3. @Bill Hodge well I for one thing there is…I would be stupid to try and post it here though, because number one, they will censure it, number two, if I circumvent it somehow, I get banned…because as you already know it’s FAKE ISN’T IT? You’ll see down the road.

    4. Just bc you have the majority doesnt mean you shouldn’t have the filibuster. You gotta remember Republicans had the major just a couple months ago. Repubs will win in 2022 if the dems don’t try and cheat the election again by manipulating election rules
