In a properly functioning government, no one would tolerate a military officer lecturing a civilian on how to address him “correctly.”

@david rankin The Biden thing is the newest iteration of “lock her up.” Its a conspiracy theory meant to cast doubts about the character and fitness of Trump’s political rival; a baseless rumor to help Trump artificially gain the election. He’s using disinformation because it worked in 2016, and by the time Clinton was cleared of wrongdoing (a few times now) it was already too late.
He was emboldened after Congress didn’t impeach him after the Mueller Report, and his hand-picked AG had more to do with that than anyone. The day after Mueller’s lackluster testimony, Trump was as full of himself as he was desperate to avoid criminal prosecution (if he left office before the statute of limitations for obstruction expired.) Four more years would keep him out of prison for his offenses detailed by the Special Counsel, and at least put off the SDNY charges. He could not care less about the implications of his bribery for Ukraine, for Russian imperialism, or our own national security. He never has acted on anyone’s behalf but his own.
The fact is, if you had any integrity you’d admit that if Obama committed any one thing on the list of Trump’s impeachable offenses, you’d be screaming for his head. We told you he was a fraud, a bigot, a pathological liar, and overwhelmingly unqualified and unfit for office, and you chose to pretend it was sour grapes. Trump voters had some plausible deniability three years ago, but as you have overlooked the most glaring, unpatriotic, and downright dangerous corruption over and over, we see you now: too emotionally invested in “owning the libs” and bigots’ rights to save your own country. Your party is dead, and you have no one to blame but yourselves.

I do not understand the added advantage of knowing who the whistleblower is. He blew the whistle and his story is corroborated by quite a few folks (and not specically corroborated by others, who didn’t think something weird happened). His/her job is done, the whistleblower has no special position other than being the first to come forward.
