  1. As a black man I have participate it in the voting process for many years. As of today I haven’t seen or felt how vote truly affected my life. I will still participate in voting but I would like to see and feel some real difference.

    1. @Vasily Blokhin Agree will add this. Jim Crow laws were state and local laws that enforced racial segregation in the Southern United States. These laws were enacted in the late 19th and early 20th centuries by white Southern Democrat-dominated state legislatures to disenfranchise and remove political and economic gains made by black people during the Reconstruction period.

    2. Isn’t it funny how the same laws and rules for everyone can be considered racist. Only in The New America. The one Communists have dreamed of. They got us fighting each other. Thank you Obama and his communist mentor Frank Marshall Davis. And, George Soros you too.

    3. When they have to try so hard to keep you from voting that’s your proof of the importance right in your face.

  2. MANCHIN IS A REPUBLICAN. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. HE MOVES LIKE ONE. HE TALKS LIKE ONE. HE REPS A REPUBLICAN STATE. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT

  3. Yes, I am glad that some of the media Remembered that those old “laws” (and most of the new ones) consistently disenfranchised poor and “unwanted” White people, too! I come from a place like that.

    1. @Nevanna Rence GOP is anti- democracy, bigoted, lacking any concept of the real Jesus, who would likely scold them for their evil greedy ways!

    2. @Nevanna Rence Does it though? There’s more poor “white” people in this country than there’s “black and brown” in total. The threat to the GOP isn’t black or brown people, but __everyone_ in favor of more socially fair policies and investments that strengthen social safety nets, access to education and other elements that boost their social mobility chances. They don’t fear their votes and voices because of ethnicities – they fear their votes and voices because they may not let them leech off that half of the population for dirt cheap hard labor anymore, and that there will be fewer Americans stuck in perpetual economic distress, whoms misery and financial insecurity they can get fat off. They also fear the “Democratic Party” more, because the increasing diversity of its elected representatives. Because that diversity shifts more “power” from the big establishment donors, to the actual poulation constituencies. They know that when an opposing party speaks louder and broader of rhe voices of its general population constituents, that traditionally results in further amplified growth, especially if the other party, here the GOP, does _not_ generally represent their population constituencies, but sticks with primarily representing their big donors.

It’s a real shame that Republican politicians won’t be honest with their constituents, and reshape their policy goals and ideals to be more in line with the actual need, wants and aspirations of their general population constituencies. They’ve effectively disenfranchised that part of the electorate, and now they’re just stringing their constituents along with false narratives, lies, propaganda, culture wars and identity politics, just to further their own personal gains and career ambitions.

    3. @pr0xZen which was kind of the point both i and connie were making. yes the voter suppression is appearing to effect or that is all most bring the attention to is the minorities but there are plenty of whites that are caught in the dragnet. the bills are aimed at urban populations. because more of the rural areas especially in the south are predominantly white conservatism’s so even if someone votes democratic they are overwhelmed by the conservatives votes like we dont count. the fault of gerrymandering. i personally dont care what color a persons skin is. everyone deserves the right to vote. it is what i served for and it is what we are supposed to be about. i am also sadly in ga so im directly effected by the new law.

    4. With the RNC counting the votes in Georgia it doesn’t matter what color you are. If you vote D that vote is thrown out. The People’s Republik of Georgia is about as much a “democracy” as North Korea or Fascist Italy.

  4. “Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless.” Isaiah 10:1, 2

    1. @D A Death? Only the Lord can decide that one! I’m a pacifist. Instead, we understand that we are not fighting flesh and blood, but a Big Lie that grows larger each day. Only radical truth, which is the Word of God can set us free.

    2. @D A Americans fail to understand that the insurrection continues only in a different form. That’s why she is calling for the Justice Department to get involved. Voter suppression is being legislated around the Country with the express goal to restriction accessibility to voting. This move is simply modern day ‘Jim Crow’ and it’s very dangerous to any democracy. The Word of God warns us how the Lord views different situations because He plainly says so. He always warns before He acts. If we warn them and they continue in this, the consequences are theirs to deal with because they rejected plain truths. They say they believe in God, but they don’t obey him. That makes them hypocrites and their faith is not real. They are in a cult of Trumpism.

    3. ” Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor ” (Exodus 20:16) There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you who judge your neighbor? (Judges 11:27). … God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus. (Jeremiah 16:17). Even Satan quoted the scriptures to Jesus while he was tempting Him.

  5. Can Trumplicans suppress the vote fast enough to counter all the voters who are quitting them in disgust?

    1. They’re aware. That’s why while complaining about Mr. Potato head and Dr. Seuss, they’re cancelling democracy across America. First Georgia, tomorrow Texas. The “suppression” is just a dog and pony show to distract from the fact that the RNC now counts all the votes in Georgia. The People’s Republik of Georgia is about a “democratic” as North Korea.

  6. republicans: “We need to see evidence against Gaetz before making a decision.”
Also republicans: “The election was stolen! We have no evidence but we know it happened!”
    🙄

    1. Republicans: “The proof of the election being stolen is, I repeat the words, STOP THE STEAL! “
*Republican then mic drops then falls of the stage.

    2. If there was actually evidence of fraud…then all the republican sec of state/governors should all be under investigation for certifying an fraudulent election. Kemp should be arrested right now for certifying the election…if there was actually fraud.
Has that happened….of course not. ….cause there is no evidence of any meaningful fraud. At least on the dem side…..when you talk about republicans….you have these crooks getting caught with hardly no real media coverage. These crooks literally went out in Florida, paid multiple people that had similar names as the democrat running…put them on the ballot…spent 100’s of thousands sending out mailings to pretend they were just like the democrat candidate. One is already arrested on that….and guess what…it worked…they get to keep the seats they stolen on fraud…what a system. Multiple states under republicans control when they go a minority of the vote. Last time GOP had a chance to gerrymander the districts, they won a 30 plus seat majority in the house while getting over 1.5 million less votes. We have a senate that in regards to actual people has the democrats representing over 13% more people…over 40 million more then republicans.

  7. The solution to this “problem ” is so simple that I’m surprised that our politicians didn’t think of it first
    Solution :
When a citizen registers to vote their info is recorded and their picture is taken
When a citizen goes to vote , all the workers at the pollling place have to do is to match the picture with the person that is standing in front of them

    1. What about the woman who wears 15 different wigs a week in 7 different styles and colors who gets her face worked on to enhance this or that? Is she supposed to revert to her ugly old self in front of all her friends and neighbors to go vote? ARE YOU KIDDING ?? I know some older ladies who won’t step out to get their mail without their lipstick on, lol. There’s no way they’d go vote if they couldn’t “gussy up”!
Then you really can’t rely on anyone’s eyesight either. There’s got to be a better way.

    2. There are many easy solutions to be incredibly sure it is the true person voting, if solutions were what they were really after.. which it likely is not.

  8. The Republicans have become a desperate party, frantically trying to escape from their own extinction.

    1. Desperately clinging to their crusade to bring back Feudalism through ending American Democracy and replacing it with a fascist committee rule. The RNC now counts all votes in Georgia and decides which ballots count (the one’s where the R candidate is selected) and which one’s don’t (the one’s where the D candidate is selected). It’s the same “free and fair elections” system they have in North Korea, China, and any other totalitarian one-party government past or present.

    1. I think statistics and voting data shows that a larger percentage of black and Hispanic voters casts the votes for Trump this time. That’s for just a few percentage points but it was a few points in his favor and In meetings that I have attended our DNC is concerned.
I believe they understand that the supercharged economy is a value to our protector class citizens. The WSJ reported that lower and middle income Americans receive a higher percentage of wage increases during the supercharged economy then did upper class individuals. Do US poverty rate fell 2 levels not seen since the 1960s.
I believe we were taking our minority voters for granted and this is beginning to show.

    2. @Esther Piry A lot is going to depend on what we do. Joe promised the American people to get us out of our COVID-19 nightmare and to return our economy to what it was. Those two things are going to be major accomplishments. If he can make a difference, get the vast majority of the American population vaccinated, and the death, sickness and suffering that COVID-19 brought that will be huge. That chaos on the border is a negative.
Trump left him a great foundation on which to build the economy. States are opening back up. The last two months the job numbers have been through the roof. There was a little snag about new unemployment applications and I don’t know quite how to read that yet. But if Joe can open America back up for business, that also will be huge. Both of those will be extremely positive.
I fear we were making the same mistakes during the Obama administration. This border nightmare was totally unnecessary and I think Joe got some very poor advice from some of the retreads that he brought into his administration. I’ve seen the pictures and I’ve seen the descriptions from some of my clients in DC. I saw that the main stream media other than Faux, is now beginning to publicize this disaster on the border.
And he took the unilateral action to shut down the Keystone XL pipeline. Legal actions are already beginning to depending on Joe’s actions because they might be contrary to law. We had contracts, we’ve had international agreement. We now see energy prices beginning to increase that is not going to be good. A huge negative.
For some reason he opened up the bathroom thing again which is going to be devastating to women sports. Individuals born as males can compete as female. I think that is going to backfire. Another negative.
A lot of what’s going to happen in the future is going to largely depend on what we do and I fear we are making the same mistakes that brought Trump to us in the first place. Will have to wait and see.

  9. I’m a nearly 70 yr old white lady, raised in the deep south. I was raised by my beloved Mother (God rest her soul) to believe that ALL people bleed red and to ALWAYS respect my elders. I lived a segregated life without even knowing it until I moved to the Great Lakes region when I was in my late teens. What a rude awakening to find that not all people thought that ALL people were worthy of being considered a full-fledged human simply because their skin color was different. Some so beautiful it made me envious, others not so much but still always human. It took me decades to remove the inbred racism I found in my own self and I’m still working on it and watchful but it shocked me to hear it said that “others” are being brought in to “take over” the vote and thereby the white elephant (lol) population in the U.S.! People of different colors have been SO very suppressed for SO very long…actually since our ancestors robbed the original inhabitants. Anyway, my point is WTF nobody needs to be BROUGHT in, they’ve been here all along. You’ve just been too afraid of them to free their voices! This is the sound of FREEDOM !! Get used to it.

    1. @7thpilot It’s very clear that you didn’t read the original posters comment. And with friends like you who needs enemies anyway? Shame on you for indiscriminately shaming people of good conscience.

    2. @MRJTV “How can you send ballots to people who didn’t request for it?” Some states do this. It’s how they conduct their elections. It’s not a new thing. And it’s less voter ID and no provisions for when someone doesn’t have an ID that’s a problem. Some states have allowances that allow people to prove their identification in other ways, which still allows them to vote. Also, voter fraud is extremely rare in the US. The penalties for committing fraud are massive and most people simply will not risk it.

    3. Nancy, I raise a Coke to you!
I’m a 70 year old white lady raised in the Great Lakes region, now living in the deep South since I was 40.

    4. @MRJTV You want believe there was a time when you didn’t need any ID just to vote. And, as history tells there still wasn’t any voter fraud. It always been a republican lie. By the way I have more IDs than you will ever have.

    5. @Vasily Blokhin : There has been no shortage of allegations of voter fraud from the losers. They have come at it from every angle and have exhausted extensive due process. They had nothing. Bill Barr came out and said the DOJ had no evidence of significant voter fraud before during or after the election. Giuliani has disappeared back under a rock. Now that she is facing a lawsuit, Sidney Powell’s defence of the nonsense she was peddling is that no-one with half a brain should have taken her seriously.
If, after all that, ” you know about ” something the rest of the country is missing, trot it into court.

  10. Garland needs to review all the investigations that got ignored by Barr because they involved GOP members. Start with Mitch McConnell’s wife and other corrupt political figures. We need politicians held to account for their illegal actions.

  11. As a black man of Faith. What done in dark will finally comes into light. Evil is showing its true face.

    1. @Sun Dial where is the proof? You guys hedged all your bets on misinformation coming from Sidney Powell, who admitted she was LYING. You bought the BIG LIE con, and people like you were the marks.

    2. @Roger Ramjet Yea both those states already stated there was no voter fraud. Why can’t you people accept the truth?

    3. @Roger Ramjet 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  12. AG Garland has to go on a HIRING SPREE. He has so much stuff to Investigate, from the Insurrection to FORMER President Trump Campaign Violations. The List is VERY LONG INDEED.

  13. Keep the pressure on these people who think they are above everyone else, make them pay at the vote

  14. Merrick Garland stepped down from a lifetime judgeship to become US Attorney General. He knows what an important and historical role it will play in the next four years.
