  1. I can already hear it now: “The 4th of July is about Freedumb!!! You can’t tell me what to do.”
Followed quickly by, “And once again, Florida has hit a new record high for Corona cases and hospitalizations.”
    FreeDUMB indeed…. 😅😂🤣

    1. @Percy Samuels I heard some official in Southern California say, “I don’t know anyone who had died from it. Maybe you have, but not me.” And I’m like, is that really how selfish you are? Someone else has died but because it hasn’t happened to you, you’re not going to try to keep people safe? Wow.

    2. In Philadelphia, we pretty much canceled July 4th stuff, weeks ago. Obviously it matter to Philly!!!

    3. @Karen Byrd Here in Northern California, no one was even expecting things to be opened for the 4th. We take this stuff seriously.
Be well, be safe…have a nice holiday! 🙏

    4. @Ro G That seems to be how most people feel. At least people under 30. It’s disgusting.

  2. If people were educated on what it’s like to be on a ventilator, they might be a whole lot more cautious about wearing masks
    and social distancing.

    1. @Bill Wilson It would take 3 years for herd immunity to be effective, at normal transmission rates (without lockdown, social distancing etc.). A vaccine will be available before that. A lot of high risk people are essential workers, who are dying because low-risk people catch it and spread it around. How many people need to die before you take it seriously? And you are the ones keeping your economy in the toilet. Other countries are recovering quickly because they did the right things.

  3. They ain’t gonna do nothing still and Trump can say whatever but he don’t even wear a mask ..that’s why nobody listens…but still people never gonna listen until a family member gets sick or dies

    1. @bb Hopefully deep down they know the truth. I think millennials and today’s teens (whatever they are called) are going to have a lot of guilt when they grow up.

    1. @Randy Couch As you point out, if it weren’t for the high number of Racists murdering Black Americans, more of them would have Fathers to grow up with.

To your point, Racists are the problem. How do we educate the Racists my friend?

    2. @Randy Couch That may be, and if so, he does a far better job of hiding it than Trump does. Trump doesn’t care if the world knows he’s human garbage, a dirty, stinking, racist.

The only thing worse than Trump, is the trash that supports and enables him.

    3. While there’s no doubt Trump epically failed at managing this, at some point the American people have to take responsibility for their own behaviour. Biden can’t fix this now.

  4. What about a national PSA live on all news channels at 7pm. As soon as possible where we have Republicans & Democrats & independents that a recognized by most people some soldiers an Doctors do an 1-2 hour accountant on how to protect ourselves. With no mention of Trump just respected ppl in the military Doctors an sending a Unifying message. We have already been doing this on our own an it will help save lives an not make it political. Everyone came together on 9/11 I was in 9th grade. We need to come together now even without the president.

  5. Breaking down this ‘miracle’ COVID-19 survivor’s $1.1 million hospital bill
More than $400,000 for six weeks in the ICU, and $82,000 for a month on a ventilator

A Seattle COVID-19 survivor knew that he must have run up a pretty huge medical tab after spending March and April in the hospital, including more than a month in the intensive care unit. But Michael Flor, 70, told the Seattle Times that the 181-page, $1.1 million hospital bill nearly gave him a heart attack.

“I opened it and said ‘Holy [bleep]!’” he said.

    1. @William Bailey I live in Hawaii. Hawaii has had a law in place since 1973 where if you are a business with 6 or more employees you are required to cover your employees with health care insurance. You can select from available health insurers, either Kaiser or HMSA. I believe that on Kaiser’s plan you pay $1. The insurance for HMSA pays for many of the costs 80%, and we pay 20%. Medical, dental, vision. The cost of business goes up to cover it’s employees, but you will have employees that will select businesses that have better health plans. I was in the hospital with pneumonia for 1 1/2 months, the bill was $90k , but my pocket expense was $5k. The fact that Americans on the mainland USA didn’t have ANY coverage was a big surprise to me. That’s why Obama came up with the health care plan, it’s because it works here in Hawaii, where he was from! America wake up, it’s cheaper to have preventative medicine, than to wait till the emergency. A health plan allows you to do more screening, catch things before they get bad. For businesses…having sick employees will make other sick, it will also cost money to have people work overtime to cover those out sick, it will cost more to hire and train new people. The GOP don’t want coverage for all people, the people want coverage for all people. In order to keep medical coverage…you keep working! A lot of people will complain oh we pay for the homeless etc..who cares? What matters is that when YOU go to the hospital…YOU are covered by YOUR insurance which YOU worked for.

    2. @William Bailey
As the coronavirus spreads, I’m glad we have universal health care in Canada.

Thanks to Canada’s health-care system, Canadians can be seen and tested for free: There is no cost barrier that would stop someone from entering an emergency room if they were worried they might be sick with the coronavirus, or COVID-19.

There are also no costs if the patient has COVID-19 and needs to access medical tests, X-rays or ventilators, or receive medication in the hospital. There are no costs if they must see multiple doctors or are hospitalized for several days. The upfront barriers that stop millions of Americans from seeking medical aid are simply not part of the equation.

    3. And yet the Dems and the GOP can happily agree on a 740 billion dollar budget for the military/industrial complex.
      What a dump.

    4. @Jim Battersbee You do understand that shutting down all our military is not an option right?

    5. William Bailey You can’t be serious…are you REALLY this stupid? Why do you think no other country copied your health BUSINESS system, clown? Because we don’t need to worry about the cost of drugs, ambulances, our insurance not covering long term health issues, etc etc etc. Mate…. you’re pathetic and it’s your children I feel sorry for.

    1. bb So sadly true.
It’s also the perfect country for the cancer that is tRump, with broader spread and consequences just as deadly.

  6. I’m staying home July 4th tending my marijuana plants & watching them grow in front of my eyes is what I’am doing. What are you doing?

    1. @Thomas Benck just read the first couple of comments. Staying home and watching pot plants grow and staying home to take bongs rips just screams loser. Notice how staying home is the common denominator. I’m sure it’s not a far stretch from what they do every day. Hence, pothead loser.

    2. I’ll be bleaching down the walls in my kitchen and in my bathroom this 4th of July, and running a few loads of laundry.

  7. Americans are so freaking ridiculous about their freedoms and partying that they are just putting everyone at risk

    1. Not all of us, only those who are irresponsible and think the world should bow to them. aka MAGAts

    2. Crystal Giddens I knew long ago that you’re nutty as a fruitcake Crystal, but thank you a thousand times for this link….now I know you’re a religious and conspiracy nutjob as well! 😂😂😂

    3. @Randy Couch BLM wears masks, those ” open up now” losers had gun a plenty, not alot of mask though.

    4. @Genghis Smith That troll got you? I always down vote the fool and report her trash click baits…it’s never any good when it’s coming from a magat.

  8. pep[le care more about their right to consume a deadly poison than they do about the health and safety of their loved ones NOW THAT IS FREEDOM

  9. i waited until i got my 3rd seat belt ticket before i said start putting it on.i’m not waiting to get anyone or myself sick i’ve been wearing a mask and hand sanitizer as soon as I get in the garage not in the house that would be too late.

  10. “No Mr President, I couldn’t hear the full conversation, but Ghislaine certainly mentioned your name” 🤣

  11. Dumb people are dragging health care workers and everyone else down to their level. Some of us know it’s really there, and want to avoid it.

    1. I hear dynamite going off in the distance. Texans will play with explosives no matter what. At least he has lots of open land. He should be fine unless anybody from a democrat city visits.

    1. Florida is so ‘stand your ground’ happy, I am wondering if it’s grounds to take someone out if it looks like they are about to enter the perimeter of my six foot distancing circle.

  12. People know what to do, they just need to do it for their own safety and the safety of others. There is a lack of community feeling in this country.

  13. masks are killing people!
that’s why millions of children die every halloween while going door-to-door to ask for socialism candy.
we need to wage a war against halloween!
