Anyone can have self doubt. But historically, women, who were always viewed by society in a secondary role have additional challenges that make it a daily practice to nurture awareness, self care and self love to offset the slings and arrows of the outside world. It is required to carve out that time at the end of the day. It is a practice.

I don’t know anyone who hasn’t been a victim of self-doubt.
Even those who grew up in supportive and encouraging environments can fall prey to self-doubt because with the encouragement and acknowledgment, comes the tacit (and sometimes overt) high expectation from your environment. And when you’re constantly being depended on and viewed as responsible, capable, or whatever other positive labels were given to you, the self-doubt comes from the feeling of being able to live up to those expectations.
Small steps everyday will lead to one big leap one day. Just believe in what you do and you will get there.
Great advice there especially on education. There’s no way out of the poverty cycle. Christ Jesus and Education. Thank you Mrs Obama. The process takes a lifetime. Let’s go girls. Redo yourself. Thank you Melinda Gates. We are valuable. We know it. The world wants to short us. We can do this. Let’s keep the discourse going on
