When people find out the virus is not real, they are going to lose thier minds. For some it will take FEMA pulling out the gilloutines before they chose to wake up to the truth. People love lies as there is no truth in them. End of this world… nothing new.

Hopefully pence is not delusional like his boss, if not he can still lie with the best of them.
If you can convince a grown man to call his wife mother or that there is some invisible man in the sky who sees all but ignores the actual gospel that says respect the earth, then yeah, you can convince him of anything. People of true faith don’t try to buy their way into heaven.
He has an invisible friend with an all-powerful (also invisible) daddy. He thinks the way to solve all the world’s problems is to ask his invisible friend to deal with them. The fact that this approach clearly has never worked in the history of mankind doesn’t dissuade him. That’s the definition of delusional in my book, no matter how many others share the delusion.

@keith parkhill At least, some food places are hiring. Some are close permanent. My friend works in Dallas high-end Steakhouse Restaurant, 7 server and 5 chef are all infected. He has not seem them anymore and it’s scary.

The old trope was the Irish but it turns out they are some of the smartest and well educated people in the developed world. Why is America so against education and freedom of thought? A bit weird. Texas tried to succeed from the union. Leave them on their own so they see what will happen if they accomplished that.
If we secede, we will succeed. Imagine what would happen when, at that point, anti-Americans would be given 7 days to vacate. Guarantee many states would be envious and hope they could push these migrants up to their socialist ilk, like New York and commifornia.

You would have to raise your own Army and protect yourself from foreign invasion. Without the protection of the United States you probably would not be able to raise one strong enough to resist the Mexican Army…or is that what you want?

There is no point in praising testing, when Texas ignored all advice and let the virus run rampant. Testing gets you information, but if you nothing to combat the situation all you get is more cases.

Exactly. Even if you tested every single person in the state, but do nothing about it, then it’s even worse than not testing at all. At least if you lock down completely, you know it would contain the virus for sure even without adequate testing.
