Military Leaders Become Increasingly Vocal Against Trump | Morning Joe | MSNBC
We need a new Constitutional amendment that allows for recall of a sitting President.
We need a restructuring of the government to limit the powers of a president. We also need to make all our customs and traditions law. Alot of our institutions rely on the president and his appointed staff to have moral character. As you all can see this is a major flaw when you elect someone like Trump.
that’s what impeachment is for, but when you have TRAITORS in the Senate is does not work correctly
@Magnetron33 Yes exactly. Which is why we need to change things. I’m not sure what exactly but that’s not for me to figure out. All I know is relying on one failsafe clearly isn’t enough. The founding fathers were smart but they did not anticipate this.

The office of the President is Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. The ‘people’ are, but the power is vested in the office of the president by the people. This why we shouldn’t elect internet trolls to the Presidency.

I wish these military leaders would have said something when trump stood on the world stage and disavowed American intelligence agencies and said he only believes Putin. They should have spoken when world leaders literally laughed at trump making a mockery of himself and our country. When he purged all American press and invited the Russians to a private Oval Office meeting, something that had never been done before.
When he praised white supremacists in Charlottesville saying they were “good people” these were people with tiki torches chanting “Jews will not replace us”. When he gutted CDC jobs and departments that would have helped reduce the deaths of 100,000 Americans. Donald trump has never hid who he is, it’s the people who worked for him and his supporters that made excuses for him.
But anyways I still appreciate the general saying this, better late than never. This November I hope for the sake of this country’s future, for the sake of those who bled for this country in the past, and for the sake of sanity, vote him out.
