    1. @Drd20 Doing what’s right is no longer an admirable act when you are doing it for self preservation. It is very clear to anyone with opposable thumbs that he perjured himself.

    2. @Drd20 That remains to be seen. He hasn’t testified yet. You can bet that right now, an endless stream of Republicans are on the phone with Sondland and twisting his mind.

    1. If he wanted to play with “grown ups” he was in the wrong country.
He made a phone call on an unsecure phone. In a restaurant. In Ukraine. Putin must be chortling, hope he releases his recording.

    1. and Roger Stone is facing:

      1 count of obstructing Justice,
      5 counts of misleading congress,
1 count of tampering with a witness.

    1. Eric Killebrew
Exactly… he’ll hold out until he’s run over and completely under Trump’s bus.
And only then will he give it all up ONLY to try to get out of prison to see his grandkids.

Hope to God he’s smarter than that for everyone’s sake

  1. A million dollar campaign donor is given an ambassadorship. He should have saved his million because he’s gonna need it and it won’t keep him out of jail.

    1. @LadyHotdogOfTheBun No. I keep better company. But don’t you realise that if a Trumper goes down he does not know that person??? Next on the list: Giuiani, Chief of Staff, AJ Barr, Pompeo…..

    2. Barbara Arndt Yes… When Trump turned on Lev, the man was hurt and said he’d be willing to speak to the House… No honor among thieves.

  2. Sondland actually paid a million to be involved in this. Guy is wishing he just kept his red hat on and ran his hotels.

    1. A million dollars seems to be the magic number. The CEO of Dow Chemical gave that, got into Trump’s cabinet and was allowed to poison Americans with a banned pesticide.

    2. @Dave Ponsford It’s only a deadly chemical. It’s not like we’re talking about windmills and their cancer causing humming sound. Let’s keep things in perspective.

  3. The Guy that is slipping under the Radar is Rick Perry. He shook down the Ukrainians for millions of dollars in oil and gas deals for his biggest donors.

    1. @Kenneth Ratcliff he is not, trump blocked him from testifying , just like the others . congress needs to get that undone . watch this …… Trump wants lawyers in those proceedings . its like you guys not paying for 15 lawyers he has already and all republicans ? he did it , guilty , guilty , guilty .

    2. Irony is all that is going on is exactly what Trump told his base he was against. Yet, they still are so mesmerized by the reality show star that they can not even see it. This is the government corruption that they wanted a “business” man to put the monkey wrench into. But alas, they did not do their homework, they fell for the rally throwing reality show star, and so we have corruption bigger than ever and there still is no affordable healthcare plan, no reasonable gun control, no new good paying manufacturing jobs, no plan what so ever. But what we do have is chaos in government, daily shootings, we have higher federal taxes and the promise it will go up for the rank and file for the next 10 years, we have family farms being subsidized because of an illogical use of tariffs but still going bankrupt, we have higher prices on most goods, housing costs are sky rocketing, pharmaceutical company’s are getting the jump on any impending changes by raising prices early, the number of medical related bankrupcys has exploded, grocery costs have gone up no one left to pick the vegetables and milk the cows, new automobile prices have gone up forcing used automobile prices to go up, run away national debt, 40% of Americans have more non housing related debt than just 2 years ago, social security benefits are being threatened while the majority of Americans have little to fall back on, and on and on.
Maybe people ought to be looking at each other, not as Republican or Democrat but rather taxpaying citizens that are getting screwed by their elected officials. We all pretty much want the same things and it is those that seek to profit off our backs that work so hard to keep us divided. Divide and conquer puts money in their pockets and out of ours.

    1. Misguided as a large number of Trump enablers have. Loyalty to Trump is one way see Cohen, Manafort, Stone et al.

  4. Shameful, the ukranians being attacked by russia, in need of a democracy’s assistance and assistance being withheld to boost trumps ego. Shame on republicans

    1. @car. A “the 80s called and wants it foreign policy back”. “The cold war is over” Obama durring 2012 election.

    2. @car. A this entire impeachment/coup is to cover the wrongdoing under the Obama administration. The Durham investigation will most likely have indictments for all of the conspirators. The Brennan cia coup has failed. Go look into the alleged whistle blower.

    3. @Mark Haddox Hahaha, ok mate. I mean you can’t even answer basic questions to your statements, but I’m sure you’ve got it covered 😂

    4. Mark Haddox Obama provided aid, but didn’t provide “offensive lethal weaponry” to Ukraine, but instead removed Russia from the G8 and used sanctions, along with the EU, against them for the invasion, which was crippling Russia’s economy. Such action was in keeping with US policy to use all means of tactics and strategy, prior to imposing military force. Obama placed emphasis on helping Ukraine clean out corruption and removing Russia’s supporters from positions of power, to stabilize their gov’t and security, allowing them to face Russia head on, without the crippling instability within Ukraine. Just as important as military aid, was for the US and the EU to demonstrate strong support for Ukraine… which is why the US sent naval destroyer into the Black Sea, and limited military aid, which could have been easily used to further destabilized Ukrainian gov’t by corrupt Russian operatives and supporters within Ukraine.
As for the sale of the 150 Javelin anti-tank missiles and 10 launchers to Ukraine… there are restrictions on their use in Ukraine. They can’t be used on the front line, and basically serve as a deterrent against further penetration by Russia. Trump significantly damaged Ukraine’s stability, weakened their defense and empowered Russia, all of which is a threat to US national security and our allies. Military might is not enough to deter or contain our adversaries, it is necessary to partner with other nations to ensure the future of the free world.

    1. melvin prater Its too late for him. No going back. His wife should begin planning for the future while he is in prison.

  5. Next Wednesday Sondland either tells the entire truth or goes to jail for lying to Congress. All of the sudden freedom is more important than loyalty to miserable Trump. This is sublime.

    1. And to complete this cycle, Trump kissed off Sondland with “I hardly knew him”. Hear the bus, Gordon? Time to get straight with the law because, Donald Trump, he’s looking out for #1. He hardly knows you.
Michael Cohen is not surprised at any of this. He called it.

  6. Sondland gave Trump a million dollars for the privilege of landing himself in serious legal jeopardy. Translation: he played himself. 😂😆

    1. …..millions more in legal fees and because lied, then corrected his lie and now need to add to his lie which he’d corrected he will be doing time in prison. Prison for him, that is a good thing.

    2. With quite a few people like Sondland buying their Ambassadorships to foreign countries under the Trump administration through huge RNC donations, there could be more that’ll be in Sondland’s position.

    3. @dee MAVERICK you better believe he’ll be spending some time in jail even though he retracted his lie. He obviously forgot about Cohen’s perjury and retracted testimony after he realized Trump was gonna pardon him.

  7. Just ask Putin, he’s got the records. It’s probably why Erdogan was meeting with Moron, one dictator to another, his buddy Vlad gave him the notes.

    1. Erdogan has his own spy network and surveillance capabilities hence the recordings in the Saudi embassy in contrast Trump decides to do away with the most sophisticated intelligence network in the world and rely on Mr Butt Dial with his goons Lev and Igor.

    1. Jim Battersbee … yes when the wind is ‘’Alt Right’’. The Gop is rotting from both ends…quit smelly…

    1. Ask the Dutch. Their JIT program overheard already the phone calls between the Russians and the troops in East-Ukraine. They know who attacked the Dutch KLM flight that was shot down above East-Ukraine.

  8. Sondland amended his testimony because he remembered something: he remembered that perjury comes with a jail sentence.

    1. That bets the question: WHAT the heck does he say when he come back, again under oath. Methinks he will plead the 5th over and over…

    2. @Tim Yatcak Trump said that “taking the 5th” was tantamount to a guilty plea. He won’t play that tune if and when Sondland uses the protection of the 5th Amendment to save himself.
