@Empress Jade Simeon Ellis I appreciate you. My COVID test results didn’t have my date of birth so the night before my flight it was returned for correction. Just in case I changed my flight and they requested another test. I threw in the towel and postponed until December 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Jamaica is doing an outstanding job with COVID. My country should use your model of contact tracing and your protocol for entering the country. Good job. It is up to the citizens to stop the gathering and following the proper protocol. Its not that difficult. Mask, sanitize and tan 6ft apart!!
We have a culture that makes it almost impossible to do the right thing where protocols are concerned, once public holidays and elections are going on. If it was a culture like that in China, automatically everyone would do what the instructions say and the spread would stay down. But our culture to “party” for Emancipendence and “party” for political parties (with anyone not into this or that party, like myself, having to consciously avoid wearing certain colours, or else), disease spread has become inevitable. How it was before, Hallelujah. How it is now — Hallelujah *anyhow*.

Managing it for incoming Passengers I feel is adequate but if you have to quarantine, people should be following these protocols and not be ignorant whether they have a negative test result or not!! Great intervention..I have friend’s still waiting for the Authorization acceptance and their worrying know…. I’m hoping to come home January if Life spare and looking forward to relaxing for my 14 Days Quarantine near the sea.
Your not telling us if the Death of the person had underlying illness’s as I’ve noticed anything people are dying in the UK has been put to this Virus and then they are Cremated so all the evidence destroyed to not carry out an autopsy to see cause of Death!! My Concern is the speedy Vaccine they’re creating targeting Black People as Guinea Pigs globally, We never caused this Virus it was China!!!!!We are also getting inflicting messages regarding the wearing of masks and it’s health implications, etc. The Country has some places with inadequate water supplies and if you have underlying health conditions and don’t have money to visit a Doctor or no family help to buy medication, health can deteriorate.
The Problem I have is Jamaica has 3 million people currently living on the Island has only 6 hospitals, Portmore has always been a popular Parish but don’t have a hospital, Why? Why are they not building New Hospitals or Schools? I’ll tell you Why…………..The 1962 Independence Act did nothing for us, it did not relinquish the Queen’s claim and dominion over the Island, she owns it. It did not return ownership and resources of the land back to the people, we don’t own nothing, nor did it restore indigenous rights or birth rights inheritance nor did it re compensate what was stole from the natives from slavery for over 400 years. It did not remove the Queen of Head of State.
The Country cannot remove the Queen as head of State ca they work for her and the government are her employee’s. Any State of Emergency must get permission from the Queen to do so.
Jamaica started out Flat broke and because of this, the government of Jamaica and the Bank of Jamaica which are owned by the Queen. We started borrowing money from predatory multinational lenders, like the International Monetary fund (IMF) the World bank and the International Development bank that carry high interest rates and harsh penalty fees, one being the structural adjustment policy and an example of this is, When the IMF lends you money they can actually tell you what to spend it on and they told us implicitly No New Schools or Hospitals over 20 to 30 years we have not seen any New Hospitals or Schools. This has a Negative impact on Jamaica to force them to sell out their resources, we do not own bauxite, tourism, airports, wharf, culture, agriculture, utilities and the highways. And we continue to Struggle..
