    1. They can play games without fans, and how many games do you really need to play to establish a championship?

    2. @omi god They wont. Too many logistical issues. NBA may be able to pull off Orlando bubble playoffs though.

    3. Least baseball has good sense. COVID is close cousin to 1918 Coronavirus, just as lethal and very long in duration, it ain’t over till the fat fart squeals.

    1. No. I’m sick and tired of “racism” and “COVID”. I’m bored of it already and I want sports back.

  1. Owners want to risk players health but not risk their pocketbooks! It’s always the bottom line and big corporations

    1. @ihave35cents i bet you the you have no heart and NO BRAIN ,the LYSOL and BLEACH will do it STOP drinking the bleach ❗❗❗❗

    2. @Maria Cox Hes currently injecting lysol into her groin just now white watching trump on a loop

    1. Football. Played in War Memorial and Soldier Field. The gridiron. Scratch your balls and the season.

    2. I said I would never watch a MLB game again in 1994. (I was foolish and gave in)
Now I promise to do just that.
Times are trying to say he least. millionaires and billionaires are once again arguing over greed when they BOTH could make an attempt to please those of us who really pay their wages. 🖕MLB.

    3. They can play in empty stadiums and the income from TV and radio is more than enough to play the season.

    4. We don’t need baseball, we need to stop people from dying of COVID, actually. Nobody NEEDS baseball for anything, certainly not to help people stay healthy.

    5. There was no World Series in either 1904 & 1994 when the owners and players took their balls home. Washout the season and get ready for 2021. The stench of the cheating is still in the air anyway.

  2. Good thing there is absolute no chance of a second wave being spread by mass congregations where people shout at the top of their lungs.

    1. @Doug Lowe And everybody unfortunate enough to be in contact with them. And the people who are in contact with THEM. Would that it was only confined to the MAGAts.

    1. I’d rather them shoot themselves in the foot then create several hundred covid19 super spreaders

    1. tom4161 I agree with you 1,000 percent. There are too many other things going on at the moment.

    2. Games without live fans are most likely (not mlb but NBA, NFL and NHL.).But inevitably players staff will test positive and its a wrap again.

    3. @Doug Lowe It’s like people are running around like we took a 3 month vacation just for the sake of doing so. I really hope the pro athletes take a stance and choose health over their respected sport.

  3. It’s a fricken game. This is all about the Benjamin’s. The talking head sport shows have nothing to talk about and are panicking.

    1. In some jurisdictions they may deserve it, but I taught school, and lots of teachers are horrible. We’re better off making sure families feel safe and ok in their housing, not on the verge of eviction every month. A “families first” approach to schooling is actually better for everyone. I would like to see us put money into the things that give everyone food, water, housing, basic healthcare, no messing with their right to vote, and protection from state violence, stereotyping, and school-to-prison pipelines.

  4. I have to laugh at Joe. He was such a right-wing tool for so long. It took a little blonde clam to get him woke. Lol
