@Vredesbyrd this political system allows for power to be concentrated in the hands of the few. Its similar to apartheid. Look at the popular vote verses the electoral college. Giving preference to a number of small states to control the politics. Look at the womans voting rights. The non whites couldnt vote. At one point only land owners could vote. Its divide and conquer. A small group can cause great damage or great healing.
