An Alaskan woman walking her dog was attacked and kicked in the head by a moose. She is recovering and back to walking her dog.

A woman walking her dog on a snowy sidewalk in Alaska was kicked in the head by a moose charging down the same sidewalk, and it was captured in video from a passing vehicle whose occupants were too late in warning her.
Tracy Hansen and her dog Gunner were walking the sidewalk of Old Seward Highway in Anchorage last Thursday when the moose charged from behind and essentially ran her over.
“I thought someone had not been paying attention and hit me with a bike or something,” Hansen told KTUU. “I had put my hands up to my head, and I’m like, ‘I’m bleeding.’”

i googled it apparently she is okay she had thought a biker hit her like someone lost control. but her and her dog is okay. she says they will be on there walks soon and no moose will stop them lol im just glad they okay
The Moose was NOT chasing the woman, the woman was in it’s way. The Moose kept going 🤷🏻♂️
it actually was. the woman and her dog had been walking and didnt realize they had passed it. moose are very strange. you can be minding your own busness but they dont care as long as you infront of them or near them they can and most likly will attack for absolutely no reason. other than being giant assholes.

The noise might work if the dog-walker was the one making the noise. The moose & dog-walker could have figured things out better if they had understood the noise. They might have stopped & sniffed each other. The dog walker might have moved into the deep snow. The moose might have gone the other way. I would have enjoyed waiting to see what they decided.
