    1. Nothing, actually. As a matter of fact, he never gave this advice. He says he’s open to the idea. It has since been used as an argument when there is nothing else to say. It’s for this reason that PP never replies.

    2. @L S Yep, he was simply saying that you should have the right to use it if you want to in a free market in response to Unfreeland trying to go after exchanges during the EMA.

    1. She’s had more governmental roles than anyone hasn’t she? That makes her by far the most qualified individual in the government.

  1. Freeland that was an ‘optional’ advice from PP. But 40-year high inflation is not an option. Hiking payroll taxes is not an option. Hiking cabon tax is not an option. Please tell me these are options so I can opt out.

    1. That and over the last 10 years what’s would your crypto gains be Vs your Canadian dollars gains?

      Crypto wins

  2. I don’t qualify for e.i. so I don’t care if it gets changed. I also don’t qualify for their rebates, and my taxes are now over 40%

    1. @Manic Demise it don’t matter what his making, it’s still not right. Why should he be taxed to death for his earned income.

    2. If your taxes are over 40% you’re doing ok. Stop complaining. We raised our kids in the 80’s when mortgage rates were 18 to 19 %. Stop whining.

  3. Would Liberals EVER answer a questions. GET RID OF CARBON TAX, PAYROLL TAX. DONT SPEND MY MONEY WITHOUT ASKING ME, YOU ARE MY SERVANTS TRUDEAU AND FREELAND.

  4. Seems like we need to just start taxing all the politicians living in lah lah land. Here’s a better idea why aren’t we fining The politicians every time they deflect a question???? Like $500 every time they fail to answer a question 🤔 Trudeau himself Would have to pay at least a $100,000 A-day Considering he never answers one single question but much rather steers off and talks about nonsense

  5. Carbon tax? I now pay a 27% carbon tax on natural gas to heat my house. I also pay HST on the carbon tax, so 31% on what was called a clean fuel that we were supposed to transition to.

  6. Its sure is nice to see the new GST is going to those who need it like my student son who lives in our basement rent free. I guess he can just buy a new gaming chair with this hand-out that is magically NOT going to cause more inflation and debt.
