@SUZI Q Not yet. There has been a petition signed by over 500,000 Australians (strong support given our total population) calling for the Royal Commission and it has been tabled in parliament. It is a bipartisan push, first started by a former prime minister with the support of another former prime minister from the opposing political party. Given these two factors, it would be surprising if it doesn’t get the go ahead. Mind you, our current government may need a push, given that one of the supporting ex-PM’s and the current one are not like minded, even though of the same party. We (500,000 million of us) will be watching for it.

I’d say Fox telling the public the virus is nothing to worry about and refusing to stand up to Trump after the tapes of him coming out ending in more deaths is closer to treason, or maybe trump should be charged with treason or at least murder by putting Americans at risk with his rallies, the hundreds who have died because he requires his adoration.

Rupert Murdoch uses the UK socialized NHS to get vaccinated while his Fox News spreads misinformation. You couldn’t make this up.
Jerry Hall. is a non-UK tax payer (Murdoch’s arm candy). If she got the vaccine on the NHS, I would like to know how because she is a year younger than me and the vaccine calculator for the UK (which suggests where you are in the pecking order of receiving the vaccine) suggests around 20 million UK citizens are ahead of me in the queue.

@Brenda Cowling In public health and emergency matters the NHS provides treatment on the basis of need. Tax status and ability to pay are not considerations. I don’t know whether Ms Hall received a shot but the ancient one is clearly in the priority group.
