  1. To bad usa didnt take.over western canada then we wouldnt be living in such a corrupt country.

    1. @Brian 1958 Yeah, I was mostly joking. I spent a lot of time in the Laurentians growing up and Quebec has some beautiful scenery. It’s mainly the ugly politics that panders to xenophobic bigots that bugs me.

  2. Did they ring a bell for the victims of Nanjing ?
Since most Japanese military records on the killings were kept secret or destroyed shortly after the surrender of Japan in 1945, historians have been unable to accurately estimate the death toll of the massacre. In 1946, the International Military Tribunal for the Far East in Tokyo estimated that over 200,000 Chinese were killed in the incident.
Japan reaped what it had sewn…

    1. It saved MILLIONS more lives by ending the war. Its horrific what war forces ppl to do.

    1. yea i know I’m just bringing that point up cuz they always say they’re victims and never admit to their crimes in the war

  3. It would be nice to see a “Memorial Day to Remember all the Victims of Japanese Imperial Aggression, 1937 – 1945”. The 7th of July would be apt, as that is the day of the Marco Polo Bridge Incident – the real start of the Second World War.

  4. Maybe if Japan just surrendered instead of forcing the Americans to drop them it never would have happened. The Japanese of the time really only have themselves and their government to blame. Also most military strategists at the time and to this day even will tell you the death toll from a invasion would have been larger as they were expecting the citizens to fight to the last along with the military. Blame the Bushido culture if you are going to blame anything.

  5. Dont poke a sleeping dragon. Imperial Japan got what it deserved. The innocent citizens too. They knew what there government was like. No citizen on Earth has the excuse of it was my government, not me. You can stand up against your government. Remember, there are more citizens than there are soldiers.
