  1. Very sad. It’s bad enough when you lose your home in a disaster, but you cannot replace a life.

    1. Do you know where you will spend eternity? Do you want to have ETERNAL LIFE? YOU CAN HAVE IT AND KNOW! (1 John 5:13) The Bible says that all men have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Jesus died to pay for your sins, he was buried and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). He paid for YOUR SINS so you dont have to pay for them. Will you please accept this free gift God is giving you, by Faith in WHAT Christ already did for you? Place your faith in Jesus Christ’s Blood and you shall be saved!
      Romans 3:25
      Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Please watch Robert Breaker’s video titled “HOW TO GET SAVED”.

    1. Mike Borden thx when I woke up and saw wat had happened on the TV like 35 to 50 mins away from me I was scared

    2. @Stevee Curtis So sorry, man. I can’t imagine how frightening that was. I hope this tragedy never happens again. Take care and wishing you a good life.

  2. I’m from cookeville, a tornado hit right between Baxter and cookeville and killed 15 people and counting. Still so many people missing. I hope everyone is safe.

    1. This is gonna be truly horrible once the count is done. You can be assured Tennessee and her neighbors are coming to help.

  3. These tornadoes have proved that our Construction industry is but a RIP-OFF…..few 2x4s, some cheap playwood, and drywall…..half a million dollars

    1. @The Game Assuming that it was some damage….but….LOOK at these houses…..they are leveled….TOTAL….the trouble w/sheep….they defend a system that rips ’em off….Sheep will be sheep….

    2. Deckie Deckie my grandpas house in Mexico has two foot wide cement block walls and I thought if the integrity of the walls ever came into question we’d be buried under a ton of cement. The roofs are flat and were made out of styrofoam and cement.

    3. @C Horse I know if I lived in hurricane alley or anywhere prone to hurricanes, tornadoes etc: my house would look like a giant flying saucer sitting on my land.

  4. Thank you everyone for the well wishes for our city. We will need a lot of time and support to heal and rebuild.

    1. @NP
Nashville Predators open their doors at the Bridgeport Arena to the disaster victims. Hockey folk rule…NHL rules…Go Preds Go!

“The good ol ‘hockey game, it’s the best game you can name”
“And the best game you can name, is the good ol’ hockey game”
Stompin Tom Conners….RIP Bud the Spud.

    2. I am very sorry what happened last night, I live 2 hours away from Nashville and 20 minutes away from Cookeville. We were very lucky. I hope you guys will be safer after what happened. I hope you guys recover good.

  5. It’s sad to hear about such a loss, then I got to remembering that not all people are as empathetic to these kinds of situations as I.

Years ago I worked for a company that used FedEx to ship their goods. I remember a call from an upset customer in Nashville demanding that we deliver their product that day (paid for overnight shipping). I checked FedEx and they had cancelled all Nashville deliveries due to tornadoes . This customer literally threatened our company with a lawsuit if we did not force FedEx to send their driver out in a tornado to deliver what he bought product, we would be paying millions to him for falsely advertising overnight shipping. It is customers like this where I did not hesitate to point out their stupidity (without directly calling them stupid) and refused their request. It was great being the manager as there was no further customer support above me!!!

Note, our terms of use actually stated that we weren’t responsible for acts of God delaying their shipments… and right beside the word God, in brackets, the first word was ‘tornadoes’.

  6. The storm passed over us in Missouri. Terrifying to know what could have happened! Minutes of difference

    1. I live in Missouri too. I am always so scared of tornadoes. It’s so horrifying when the sirens start going off and the lights start flickering 😔

  7. please keep my brother in your prayers. my parents and i live in south carolina and my brother lives in nashville and i havent heard anything from him and iam extremely worried about him because he and i are very close and we text and call each other everyday. please be praying for him.

    1. May The God of heaven comfort you and your family, may He make His face to shine upon you and give you peace. Amen ““No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
      ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:37-39‬

    2. People aren’t able to get cellular connection out here so he’s okay.

    3. @gnarmarmilla Why would god comfort them , he just showed the World that he hates Nashville . God showed then he hates the alcohol, gays and that heathen music with scantly clad women gyrating their bodies on TV !

    1. I changed my sleeping pattern long ago, after “Hurricane Opal” came through (and nearly killed our then-neighbors). I’ll *never* forget my husband running out our front door, into the pitch-black night, lit only by flashes of lightning, that howling wind…and the terrified screaming of our neighbor, who couldn’t get into their childrens bedroom because a tree had bisected their house.
      No, I don’t sleep at night anymore… 😒

    2. Lumbago we heard the noise but we didn’t even know what was going on. We just went back to sleep, it never occurred to us that it could of been a tornado. So many homes destroyed

    3. LynxMaster5 here, my biggest fear other than spiders…. A D DONT SAY I SHOULD BE WORRIED ABT SNAKED BC I DONT ^_^ 😂

    4. Kevin F right… Being asleep during something isn’t scary though. I’ve slept through my fair share of tornados being from Nashville/Murfreesboro myself, can’t say I ever woke up the next morning scared lol. Watching one come at you in the daylight, knowing there’s nothing you can do about it, and just hoping it passes quickly while you hide… that was pretty scary to me!

  8. Whenever I see Happy birthday, smile comes on my face.
Whenever I see RIP, I turn sad 😔😢
RIP TO THOSE WHO LEFT IN THE TRAGIC INCIDENT😢😢😔😔

  9. “Although favorable conditions for tornadoes in the United States can occur at any time, they are most common in spring and least common in winter. Because spring is a transitional period for the climate, there are more chances of cooler air meeting with warmer air, resulting in more thunderstorms.”

We’ve been two zones above average this winter ’round me
    Just a thought
Sucks when I can’t grow plants based on a reliable climate schedule
But as it happens we rather _can_ predict these deaths and this property damage
    Just a thought

    1. That’s the part of ‘climate change’ the deniers *aren’t* getting…the winds *will* be ‘windier’, the hail *will* be ‘hailier’, etc., etc. – everything *will be* ‘more so’, and that’s *not* good for living, well… *’everything’.* 😒

  10. Stop calling it the Nashville Tornado, all of Tennessee suffered through it! 80 to 90 percent of the victims were in Putnam county, enough with the BS titles!

    1. Yes. Also no one cares about the Super Tuesday in TN during such a tragedy. Its like everyday these ppl are becoming more and more dumb.

  11. *I didn’t have to go to far into the comments section to see people using this tragedy to diss President Trump. You people are screwed.*

  12. Terrible news. Heartbreaking to lose your friends or loved ones this way. For those in the area, stay safe and know that the country is praying for your safety.
