National Religious Broadcasters Spokesperson Fired After Pro-Vaccine Remarks

    1. evangelicals should remember that most people in Europe abandoned religion after the plague
because the churches did nothing to help them from infection, suffering and death.

    2. @Bad Kitty No Milk Tonight It’s not clear to whom you’re replying or what you think they’re not doing.

    1. What kind of Christian witness is the NRB showing the world? Would Jesus approve of such intolerance? I believe not! Shame on NRB for slaughtering their own lamb…a scapegoat to what end? God Bless and protect Rev. Darling 🙏 His response to his termination was dignified and Christ-like.

    2. @Mary Clawson Talking about vaccines right. Did you get vaccinated for MMR and polio has a child? Most people do. Required to go to school. Does that make sense? Hope so.

    1. @James Knott You might want to check that. Those places were primarily run by non-evangelical churches (Roman Catholic, Anglican, Salvation Army). Evangelical means you believe your salvation comes by personal faith in Christ, not by membership in some church or adherence to some creed or current leader, not by good works. When such faith is real it transforms the believer from what they were before, as millions can attest, and good works flow in love. When it isn’t real or overcome by the seduction of wealth it creates hypocrites. Most today described as evangelical are not, but the intent is to tar all with faith in Christ as traitors, liars, etc. It’s been going on for a while now.

    2. @vasp99 “Word faith” or, “what I say and believe comes true because Jesus”, is akin to sorcery, and a poor mimic of the truth. Evangelical means you believe your salvation comes by personal faith in Christ, not by membership in some church or adherence to some creed or current leader, not by good works. When such faith is real it transforms the believer from what they were before, as millions can attest, and good works flow in love. When it isn’t real or overcome by the seduction of wealth or power it creates hypocrites. Most today described as evangelical are not, but the intent is to tar all with faith in Christ as traitors, liars, etc. It’s been going on for a while now.

    3. @TooBadThatDidn’tKillMe I rejected jesus and my new lord and savior is Baby Cheesus. Heil Trump.

    4. And they make tons of money off of “their ignorant gullible flock”. Why are they so gullible and hateful? This can’t just be when trump came “into the political scene” this has slowly been growing and going on in the right wing media and GOP for over 20 years!

    1. You mean mostly the fake story that was created about him it was no virgin birth and there is no Jesus in the Old Testament anywhere so that would make Matthew and paul a liar

    2. He seems to be letting thouands die of covid at the moment and he seems most fond of killing his followers.

    3. This:
_Several hospitals in Florida, South Carolina, Texas and Louisiana are struggling with oxygen scarcity._
_Dr. Ahmed Elhaddad, an intensive care unit doctor in Florida said that he’s frustrated and “tired of seeing people die and suffer because they did not take a vaccine.”_

    4. The Apostle Paul who admits to being a liar Romans 3 :7
who written 7 books of the New Testament and
      Jesus 0

    1. I really hope these anti-vaxxers don’t get vaccinated.
They can get treated by their QAnon Grand Shaman.
They have to stop going to hospitals now.
Hope also they don’t contaminate vulnerable people on their way out.
They are too weak to accept reality and adapt.
      We are stronger without them.
We have to let evolution follow its course.

    2. Well, of course they fired their spokesman, he committed the ultimate sin! If Evangelicals ever got into the truth-telling business…they’d be out of business!

    1. @President Notsure What about all those billionaires who cheat on their taxes? Are you concerned about them?

    2. @wavelength1970 I was saying there is a law already on the books against pastors endorsing politicians on the pulpit. That should also include telling people not to take the vaccine. I know I don’t have the power to enforce these laws but others do and should. They just don’t.

    3. @Beverly Bradford they aren’t endorsing a political candidate or politician. The vaccines barely even work.

    1. @Cas jean Antifa are nothing like the allies who fought against the Nazis, the allies were patriots, they loved their flag and wouldn’t have burned it like Antifa do. If Antifa were around back then they’d have supported Stalin, who killed probably as many as Hitler, most of them his own people. Learn about history and about your favourite communist terrorists Antifa.

    2. @Three A. ~ No kind of vaccine contains any human stem cells from fetuses, although some vaccines do use stem cells in the production process. Many of the Covid-19 vaccines in the U.S. and around the world in development and in use employ cells from the Vero monkey or insects instead of human stem cells in the production process.

****The highly effective Moderna and Pfizer Covid-19 vaccines are sequence designed on computer, with NO cells of ANY kind used in the production process.****

So, even for those religious folks like you that are averse to using any vaccine or medical treatment developed using human stem cells, there is no reason for not taking the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines. This should make you happy and relieved, because now you can protect yourself and others guilt-free! You can thank me if you like for providing this life-saving information to you, but the best way to thank me is to TAKE THE VACCINE!

You could have found this out for yourself by doing your own independent research, by talking to your doctor, or by talking to your public health department. So, it’s curious as to why didn’t you do any of those things?

    3. @TT well I don’t think any were arrested for beating up the paedophile loving Antifa yesterday. You can find the video on YouTube of Antifa cowards getting a beating and running away screaming like the cowards they are. Usually they just attack police who aren’t allowed to fight back, or they punch old ladies and pepper spray young children, so they’re not used to fighting on equal terms.

    1. Fast forward to 2025: The pandemic is largely under control with sporadic outbreaks in less developed areas like Papua New Guinea, Guyana, the Central African Republic, Afghanistan, and the US.

    2. And what it has not directly caused, it has facilitated. Demanding that belief be based on “faith” (wishful magical thinking and mere feelings) has set up a huge percentage of people to deny evidence-based inquiry. This has been the most corrosive and corrupt thing religions, all religions, do.

    3. @bombastic attitude Religion ALWAYS becomes dangerous when no seperation of state and church is radically enforced. Christian Nationalism or Islamic fundamentalists…even Hindu Nationalists…show how religion poisons liberal democracies.

When Religion enters political power it ALWAYS turns the majority against certain minorities. It perverts and corrupts from the inside out.

  1. He should have said Jesus came to him in a dream and told him that God’s people need to take the vaccine.

    1. Some say that religious leaders now have to remain neutral in matters of The Vaccine vs. Antivaxx.

Following that logic I say that politicians now need to take a neutral stance between God and Satan.
Following that logic I say that doctors now need to take a neutral stance between Kids and Pedophiles.
Following that logic I say that God himself needs to take a neutral stance between Peace and War.

After all, you have to remain bipartisan in matters where you clearly have no authority.

    2. Well, of course they fired their spokesman, he committed the ultimate sin! If Evangelicals ever got into the truth-telling business…they’d be out of business!
(PS—-Christian “fundamentalists,” but yeah, we got it!)

    3. @blluedragonfly That is the part I don’t get! They say they are too afraid to take the chance of getting the covid vaccine, (that has been tested and verified safe) that it may be “bad or DNA stuff” or whatever type lies and made up conspiracy theories, yet they are willing to take the chance to take an “Meant for cattle de-wormer”? It makes no sense!

  2. Meanwhile, yet another conservative radio talk show host has died of Covid after telling his audience to avoid vaccines and masks.

    1. @Marc Lewis are you sure they’re people if they refuse to exhibit human intelligence and empathy themselves? They’re purposefully misinforming people to death. I’m personally glad they can no longer misinform their “flock” to death from their casket or urn.

    2. @James Knott I wish that were true, it’s unfortunate that it’s really equal opportunity under the age of 12…

    3. @S McDonald They may not seem like it now, but they started out as Christians. Sometime in the past few decades as they gained political power their beliefs became corrupted.

    1. @Mary Ann M He had an opinion. That opinion is he wants to tell me how to go on about my life when he doesn’t pay my bills. Kick rocks you vaccine freaks.

    2. I don’t have time to discuss all of the scriptures presented in this stream as proof Paul admitted to lying about Jesus, a ridiculous claim, but here’s the first one, Romans 3:7,8:

Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?” Why not say—as some slanderously claim that we say—“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is just!

“Someone might argue…”, not “it’s through my lie ??????God’s truth was magnified why am I judged as a sinner”

BTW, this passage was written concerning unbelieving Jews, Romans 3:1: “What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?” That is the context. He also states in 3:5 that he is making a “human argument” — some study required to understand what he means by that.

Check the others for yourself. The poster is lying or perhaps completely unable to parse English sentences intelligently. They’d have an even harder time twisting these passages in the original Greek. Line upon line, precept upon precept, two or three witnesses in agreement, wisdom and understanding earned. Sometimes a gift, often hard work. This challenge to truth is childish.

    3. @President Notsure Your reply tells me you know everything you complain about could go away with proper governance, that it’s all been manufactured by the RNC holding up progress, but you don’t care.

  3. Whaaaaaat? “Christians” not being Christian.Ghandi famously said “I like your Christ not so much your christians” and this pandemic makes that quote truer everyday.

    1. Evolutionists should believe in SCIENCE and allow NATURAL SELECTION occur.
Religious people will believe in a religious ritual (vaccination) to save them from NATURAL SELECTION.

    2. @Richard Bambenek religious zealots have been twisting the holy message for hundreds of years so no matter how effed up they act they can hide behind Jesus

  4. If this doesn’t give Mr. Darling a BIG hint that his former employers/organization is off the rails, I don’t know what will. He might want to take some time to explore his own beliefs.

    1. It’s his Christian beliefs that these ‘Christians” don’t like. He’ll figure it out now that they’ve given him some spare time.

  5. Religious broadcasters should be held legally responsible for not offering BOTH sides of issues.

And they DEFINITELY should start paying taxes.

    1. @Richard Arriaga And yet these Evangelical misfits are saying all sorts of untruths & spreading disinformation all over the place when it comes to Covid & vaccines.

    2. When am I going to see some pro witchcraft articles in evangelical publications. Satan got a bum rap. Also I would like a Lesbian married couple profiled in a story on adoption.

    3. I agree 100% on taxing religions. Religions are becoming a national security threat both here and world wide. They are all political, the major ones.

    4. @raymond sutton so, this guys proof that Americans have lost A. Grammar and punctuation and B. Circular hypocritical measures when it comes to philosophical norms.
He said “you wouldn’t allow abortions”, which infers he is pro-life, while also not willing to do anything to stop unneeded death of grown people. Your own levels of hypocrisy decline your very own argument.

  6. Thoughtful, respectful, honest, responsible, compassionate, intelligent, logical. No wonder he got fired. Those are traits that go against everything the Evangelical Church stands for these days.

  7. If Jesus was alive he would be fired as well.
Evangelical “Christians” have become a living oxymoron.

    1. Jesus, being Arab and Jewish as well as asexual/aromantic, would not be hired by these people, let alone fired. They don’t know a single thing about Jesus.

    2. @Chamber Muses Yes, so true, the people who claim to be loving “Christians” are the same ones that would spit on Jesus if he were to walk by them, they would call him a “dirty passive liberal hippy” and like Jesus’s own people did to him, they would betray him.

    3. @makaz781 Are some of these “so called Christians” the same ones that are tweeting or posting on facebook death threats to many good moral people of integrity? I think so.
