  1. Can you imagine … everyone who feels sick today, add in fenitum, will get paid by whom? You and I, not the non-worker.

  2. I hate this I am an hard working Canadian always working to feed my family and from what it looks we are probably going back to lock down again and the support wouldn’t be the same from the government

    1. @Tim VEVO Weed is not all bad. i use CBD to help with my Epilepsy works better than any chemical big pharma garbage there is out there and i occasionally smoke shatter and do the odd Edible. I don’t smoke dry bud though for some reason it fries my memory for a few days.

    1. @nemesismkiii but that’s what this speech was all about..a confidence vote..? if nobody supports these actions..we go to another general.election..

    2. @Gypsey nomad Traveller Yes, if they lose the confidence of the House, then parliament is dissolved and another election is triggered. Your statement was that we MUST have one, which we do not for at least another 4 years. Also, a new election would be fruitless, maybe another party steps into the minority seat and we end up with another election in a couple years. The system is broken, a new election will not give you the results and answers you seek.

    3. nemesismkiii Are you an influencer paid by the Liberal government? Elections are the -ONLY- time any Canadian has a say. Are you suggesting we should continue to have no say, despite, the “special circumstances” we find ourselves in….. To the tune of $70Billion? Should Canada not be able to vote and have a say on what happens under these extraordinary circumstances? NB held a provincial election, USA is holding a massive election. Why do you not want a say? We did not vote on this new platform introduced in the Throne Speech.

    4. @Genuine Albertan “USA is holding a massive election” the word massive makes no sense here lol they are having their general election because its time for their election lol We just had an election and the Conservatives lost because they are as inventive and innovative as a bar stool….

    1. Tess Franklin was the throne speech to address special circumstances? Are you suggesting that Canadians should not have a say on how they would like the Pandemic handled? Elections are the only time we actually have a say. Why not vote on how we want this debacle handled?

  3. Wait. paid sick leave as in you can call in sick from work and the employer is forced to pay it?

    1. Yeah, that. Employers can just pray that it rains money when everyone is sitting at home with a sore throat due to colds.

  4. translation: you got to give more Justin, sweeten that pot for me!!

p.s. can’t stand Soloman, he is obviously a liberal sympathizer!!

  5. “Canada entered this crisis in the best fiscal position of its peers”. Not correct. We entered with 90% gross debt/gdp. Germany, our G7 peer, entered near 60%.

    1. Canada was broke when it entered the crisis and it is more broke now. Liberals = criminals. They should be voted out in the next election.

    2. What Singh should have done was voted with the conservative to get the liberal party voted out instead of siding with Trudeau to close parliament instead of trying build himself up now. Singh is no better then Trudeau.

  6. “Stay home if they have any symptoms”. Literally everything is a symptom. Lets just lock down the country then.

  7. Stop interviewing this two faced free loader. He will support the government. He has no choice. He should just come out and say, “the NDP is broke and we cannot afford an election campeign.”
