  1. Both parties claim victory after the hearing. But like all congressional hearings the main outcome is the government looking more and more incompetent each day. Remember, we don’t need congress to impose term limits, we can limit every elected official to one term until we end the era of career politicians.

    1. Google Article V in Constitution, it defines how it can be amended. 2/3rds of the House of Representatives + 2/3rds of the Senate, OR 2/3rds of the States can propose an Amendment, either way, at LEAST 3/4ths of the States have to ratify it before the Constitution can be amended. The founders of the Nation KNEW that Goverments can get TOTALLY out of control, they guarenteed the Citizens of the United States of America a way to reign them in, we just have never done it This is actually their 2nd attempt at a Government, that’s the actual reason for the major gap between the Declaration of Independence and the signing, ratification and date this Constitution went into effect. Google “The Articles of Confederation,” it wasn’t working so they threw it out and started over.

    2. @Richie Tattersall I know that a vote can be forced in the Senate if enough people support it. With Red State Democrats, that is not going to happen.
Winning a battle but losing the war is stupid.
People like AOC seem to believe a majority of America agrees with her just because a majority of New York or at least her constituents do

  2. For the illiterate and lazy, the crimes include obstruction of justice and accepting aid from a foreign country. Read the report. Read the entire report. I did. I believe that 120 meetings with Russian spies was conspiracy.

    1. Susie,I believe Americans speak to Russians EVERYDAY. This has been going on long before the Trump era. You’ve got to stop the hysteria. Trump gave no weapons to Putin;on the contrary, he sold Ukraine sophisticated weapons to defend themselves. Trump never gave up uranium to Russia, that’s a plus. He put the brakes on China from ripping your country off. ECT.

    2. Just another thing. Sorry but Mulluer was baked at the judiciary committee meeting. He might have been having an off day. Just like when Trump was tired one day and the Democrats acted like wolves on a old moose. You might not like Trump but he’s got a lot of energy. That’s how he’s been fighting his opponents. And no he’s not perfect. Tell me one of his opponents that is. His socialist opponents are really off their rockers. Wanna debate that?

    3. Susie Taylor The report said nothing that we already didn’t know. Mueller referenced The NY Times and Washington post over 120 times. Lol not really an investigation if you do that.

    4. ..I’ve read some of it Susie but it doesn’t take a full reading to be able to see the obvious truth about Trump ..just common sense ..and an open mind …

    1. @Severin: 🇬🇧 We all knew exactly what Severin meant. Spellchecker can be a real pain in the backside at times.

    2. touch wood 108 : 🇬🇧 I would prefer it to be none unless the gun was pointing to just above his own ear. And even then it would be a nasty mess for someone to clear up so let’s go back to “none”.

    1. After everything that has happened from the Russians stealing the election for the Republicans to all the lawless nonsense this administration has gotten away with, do you still trust the system? And will any of our votes really count for anything?

    1. @Nancy Rocks that would explain Trumps campaign manager, deputy campaign manager, national security advisor, and long time personal lawyer turning out to be criminals and traitors and lying to the FBI about it.

      😂😂

    2. @Rabble Wolf Best president q3ve had in decades, and you fascists want to overthrow him because he defeated the overtly racist and corrupt criminal Hillary Clinton. You people are truly deplorable human beings.

  3. Never mind obstruction. If the crime was election fraud, and but for the election fraud he would not have been elected and have this unique (only person in the US) shield against being indicted for the crime that got him elected, how does that work out?

    1. ..exactly! ..and for that reason alone I will never recognize Trump as a legitimate president ..never!

  4. Re election security, can someone explain how Mitch McConnell can refuse to allow laws meant to secure the elections to be voted upon.cannot something be done about him, it appears to me he wants that interference to happen again. This cannot be in the best interest of American democracy, how does he get away with this refusal to allow congress to vote?

  5. The OLC “opinion”!?? This country is going by an institution’s “opinion”? Like any banana republic? Unbelievable!

    1. I do agree! However…….Lets use the brains God gave us. Our country works on the presumption of innocence. Our laws said a prosecutor’s job is not to exonerate. Prosecutors either indict or not. Mueller did not follow the law. This is simple and yet; hard to understand for those who hate the president. The bottom line is so easy that even caveman can understand. Mueller cannot exonerate nobody. He failed miserably. He did not even know his own report. Mueller did not know what Fusion GPS was.

How Mueller could determine Trump innocence when there is not a legal precedent for that? He was exposed when was asked to mention any legal basis for his statement of exoneration.
Why Mueller did not charge the guy who started the whole investigation when he lied to the FBI?

Democrats got owned…again!  Sadly; Trump keeps outmaneuvering Democrats. Just wait for the IG report on the start of this investigation. Trump will win again!

    2. They could challenge the policy at the SC but trumpee has stuffed the court with conservatives. Why bother

    1. I suspect you’ll be limboing even lower. At least Trump and his rabble have made Our inept government look like bloody geniuses and paragons of virtue by comparison.

    2. You seem to have placed troll bait where the magats can reach it.
      Gop sucks goatass…pass it on

  6. All this is happening because of the enablers in the Senate.
We all know who they are and must be dealt with in 2020.

    1. Reality? The 2016 Elections was the lowest “National Registered Voter Turnout in Federal Elections” in 20 years, and Trump lost the popular vote by just under 3 million. App. 33 million Republicans voted for Trump. 2018, was the HIGHEST Mid-term in over 100 year, 13 million more Citizens of the United States voted for Democrates then Republicans, app 30 million voted for Democrates. Congress: The House of Representatives is 2 year terms of service, the Democrates won back the House, the Senate is 6. 9 Republicans and 24 Democrates were up for re-election, the only changes were 2 seats that flipped from Democrat to Republican. 2020 is a totally different story. 22 Republicans, INCLUDING McConnell are up for re-election, only 12 Democrates. The 2020 Elections? The Republicans in the Senate that have been on their knees bowing down and kissing Donald’s feet instead of actually doing their job and keeping him under control are getting put into retirement. Those are not “surveys” they are actual numbers.

  7. Can you imagine the fairness and respect the DOJ would have if Neal Katyal was AG!!!!! He is the sort of person you need in the role, not this puffed up, arrogant yes man Barr.

    1. ..well said! ..Trump would still try to hammer him into the ground tho if he considered him a threat.

    2. Chris Rea only the ignorant speak in haste. Soon yourself and Robert Mueller may have to sing a new song.

  8. Absolutely love Jill Wine Banks. Brilliant always in her facts and truth. Lawrence and Rachel remain compelling as always.

  9. Mcgahn should disbar himself for not showing up for subpoena as a Lawyer! Shame. Shame. Shame. Jail the coCONspirator!

    1. To be fair, he’s caught in the middle of Congress’ right to hear his testimony & Executive priveledge, withholding it. Ultimately, he will have to testify…. and the WH will try to limit that testimony… again. 😕

  10. When did the opinion of a department of government, the Justice Department in this case, get to be above the law of the land?

    1. ..because they usurped the law ..Trump and his enablers bulldozed (smashed) their way right thru any laws and guide posts that were put there in the constitution to prevent such a thing from happening and then twisted and used them against the very laws that made up the constitution..only a lawless dictator would do such a contemptible thing.

  11. The Brits put King Charles 1st on trial, found him guilty and chopped his head off.

Are you sure declaring independence was such a good idea ?!?

  12. The Electoral College, gerrymandering and the DOJ policy of not indicating a President needs to change….
