    1. That’s a very simplistic way to look at it lmao

Btw, they could just base Reperations off the impacts of Jim Crow if they wanted to, which occured after slavery.

    2. @Armani OK if you want to do it that way, then Hispanic, Asians and many other minorities will need to be paid.

    3. The same people who didn’t own slaves benefitted to this day from the work and theft from those same slaves. People not slaves have sufftered under multiple systems of land theft, the prison industrial complex, civil oppression, and racism that has made them a bottom caste in our society. Look up the Color of Law, The Black Tax, The Southern Tenant Farmers’ Union, The Jim Crow Museum, The Federal Reserve Report on the Wealth Gap by city, The New Deal, The Slave patrols/KKK.

  1. So do Asians gotta pay? Mexicans? American Indians? Hundreds of thousands of people died in the civil war to free slaves. There is your reparations.

    1. Nah, nah, nah son…bill’s up to around $50 trillion I believe. Europe’s Africa bill is about $800 trillion.

  2. the bill’s up to around $50 trillion I believe… 200 K per family, on condition 50K go to University or college education.

  3. But first we must set things right with our Native Americans a people with true and verifiable grievances. When this is done the “right thing” will have been accomplished.

    1. They attempted with Casino’s and reservations. It’s past time for black people’s pain and suffering be recognized.

  4. Long past due, it is time for African Americans to benefit from the wealth their ancestors built while being enslaved, not to mention the centuries of systematic racism that has held African Americans back from a fair opportunity to prosper in the land of the free. I just hope it doesn’t stop there, as indigenous people of North America deserve reconciliation as well.

  5. Yea he forgets to mention the genocide the US did to the native people’s. Like if you want to talk about a mess, then don’t pick and choose which part of the mess your going to clean.
