    1. Ash the problem with just let everyone get it now is, hospitals will be exhausted. If you slowly delay the population getting affected hospitals can be paced.

    2. @Chele From The Block I’m like 90% certain I already have/had it. Had the symptoms for a few days, and now I feel 100% fine. I didn’t raise any alarms about it. I hardly go out anyways. Everyone is going to get it eventually. The government cannot contain- transmission is too easy.
All this chaos is doing nothing but hurting business stocks. People should just return to work and let it happen. It’s pointless really.
Warmer weather cleared up both SARS and MERS. If your immune system is decent, your body will fight it off- even if it is 10x more deadly than the common Flu.

    3. @I just want my baby Hospitals should only be spending time on people who have bad symptoms from it, not on people who have it with mild conditions.
Zero purpose in shutting things down and quarantining populations. Everyone will get it at some point due to ease in transmission.
Over 60,000 people in China are already recovered. Just let it pass everyone, and warmer weather (which cleared up both SARS and MERS) will take care of it while doctors scramble for a vaccine.

    1. @Box Jabber Hey! I eat beets when we go to salad bars! I have been considering a beet type food alternative. I can’t remember the name of it right now. We just ordered groceries through Instacart and are thinking of new ways to entertain ourselves the next few weeks. Lots of long walks outdoors and book reading may be all we can do for awhile. lol… Take good care of yourself and your family!!!

    2. @kay armstrong That’s sounds idillic! Have fun! I’d also suggest growing your own veg if possible…even small scale windowsill gardening can be a rewarding hobby.
Thanks for the well wishes, right back at you!

    3. @Box Jabber We will have a small garden in the back yard again. Our grandkids live in another state but they are going to start one too!! We will have a game to see who grows the best tomatoes! lol.. Actually, we will win but this is a good chance to teach the kids the wonder of growing things!! Take care!

    1. Italy has had to lockdown the whole Country to try to curb this because they did not do enough testing to stop the spread.
“As of Sunday, 1,707 Americans had been tested for the novel coronavirus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. South Korea, by contrast, has tested more than 189,000 people. The two countries announced their first coronavirus cases on the same day.”

  1. *The government needs to mandate that all TV networks now have a scrolling Chyron specifying:*
    * When you should get tested
    * Where you should get tested
    * If you test is negative, if and when to get re-tested
    * How exactly should social-distancing work (is it 3 feet, 9 feet distance?)
    * How to self-quarantine?
    * What is the incubation period, when is the all-clear
    * Is there a way for people to strengthen their immune systems (diet, supplements) to effectively fight the virus should one become infected?
    * Whatever else is pertinent like how to deal with copays, or where to get free testing, etc.

    1. then they have to scroll “there are no test available” because American government does not approve the proven working test used in the developed world.

    2. @kay armstrong not everyone has the ability to do that. some of us cant afford to not work & also have places we cant not go. like i have to go the methadone clinic every day i have no other option. also even worse to the pregnant women who go go clinics whos pregnancies will likely end if they stop taking methadone.

    3. @cherryfairyy Hang in there!! The prez and your gov are making plans to give you help while staying home! You are not forgotten. Keep in touch with your local government agencies. WE can get through anything if we all encourage each other!!!

    4. @Juliet Goto “we” as in the united states; no “we as in other western countries; yes. The usa refused to certify test that are proven in other countries.

  2. Can we please get a different sign-off where Chris won’t sound like he’s saying “blow me” 😂

  3. Trump started by saying the COVID-19 is a hoax, then it’s under control and now it’s a pandemic. It’s absolutely idiotic for his followers to continue to believe him. — Wait I know why they are mindless true followers. Blind to the truth.

    1. Veracity North he didn’t say the virus was a hoax he said the coverage was a hoax. You’re buying the hype and ignoring the facts. This is Very minor compared to H1N1, in 2009/10 when Obama/Biden did nothing to stop the spread. Look it up

In the US alone per WIKIPEDIA; … ‘As of mid-March 2010, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimated that about 59 million Americans contracted the H1N1 virus, 265,000 were hospitalized as a result, and 12,000 died.’

Take precautions but know that this is purely a politically motivated media hype job. Nothing more. This will be over by mid-May

    2. @Eric Starnes – I watched Trump’s speech. Clearly, you didn’t. Fox News and the Trump Admin. tried to cover it up to what you said.

    3. Convince people there is a “god” and they are ready to accept every other nonsense you feed them. Religion is invented to keep people dumb.

  4. but lets continue to keep schools open there are thousands of kids in one school that’s all public and there is no room for social distancing not only in the class rooms but also in hall ways have you ever tried to walk through a high school hallway they are just elbow to Elbow not to mention what about school assemblies.

    1. Not everyone is unemployed like you candice… Some people have responsibilities, I’m sure you being a caucasian female probably have the cushion to take months at time off but not everyone is that privileged…

    2. @Hedil Seto how parents take care of the kids if they end up sick and God forbid there in that percentile that has underlying health conditions need to remember how many people have diabetes heart conditions high blood pressure asthma the list goes on and on

    3. @Indigo Aztec that’s a assumption you are wrong about my love I’m NOT unemployed I do work a full time Monday through Friday job but I also know that kids are great at sharing and spreading germs and kids will go home and give it to their parents and grandparents and besides the adults that have underlying health conditions we have lots of children in our school systems that do also.

  5. Any company forcing their employees into the office in 2020, when it could be done remotely, is guilty of corporate negligence.

    1. It’s not deadly enough. A small percentage of people die because they have compromised immune systems. But most people will either not get it at all, or will have flu symptoms but not enough to go the hospital or anything. If you don’t believe me, read up on previous viral pandemics. They happen from time to time…viruses are like that.

    1. Meanwhile, try washing your hands after using the restrooms, and don’t be a hypocrite. President Trump can’t wash your hands for you, force you to use mouthwash, or take your showers for you.

    2. @Zach Addington just convince trump supporters the virus is a hoax so they catch it and die from it. Darwin in action. The purge of traitor “republicans” will result in a sane “for the people” dem government.

  6. the planet is giving us another of it’s warnings,
    which we continue to ignore…
either we take care of it,
or it will take care of us

    1. Did you notice once spankyboy started signing The Bible for people, planes fell from the sky ? This is just phase two.

    1. Putin’s response: your president knows what he’s doing he is a good b**** I mean president you are in good hands
