    1. +uk ok kevin There was still some Scots that don’t want to be in the EU and
I don’t have a problem no, it’s not my country that it’ll ruin

    1. UK LAD but she’s a true socialist…she knows how to spend other people’s
money and has no idea how the bills will be met.

  2. If Scotland has a different mandate and allows immigration to continue,
what measures are they going to put in place to prevent those immigrants
wandering across the border into England??? If Scotland achieves
independence how are the borders going to be policed to prevent Scots and
English and foreigners going across the closed borders?? Who will pay for
the Scottish National Health, Education, etc??

  3. SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP. talk about a one trick pony. All she has to do
is NOT turn up but have them play the same old same old cracked record.
What an idiot. Scotland will wake up and realise this is all a pipe dream.

  4. This crazy woman doesn’t seem to understand that the level of influence of
countries within unions must in the end be proportionate to the ratio of
their populations to that of the group. The population of Scotland is about
5.3 million compared with that of about 510 million for the whole of the
EU. That compares with about 64.1 million for that of the UK. Do I need to
do the maths to tell her that in terms of influence she would be a lot
better off staying in the UK than rejoining the EU or perhaps could her
constituents take her aside and explain it to her ?

    1. For starters, Ireland has a smaller population than Scotland. In fact, a
dozen or so EU members have a population size that’s lower or similar to
      that of Scotland.

    2. +meandmymouth Clearly, Sturgeon thinks Scotland is more at odds with the UK
than it is with the EU. As an independent country and EU member, nothing
prevents Scotland from allying itself with likeminded members in pursuit of
common interests. If she feels the Scots don’t share the same interests as
the rest of the UK, it all makes perfect sense.

  5. Does anyone ever wonder that maybe the EU is secretly happy that Britain is
out. And this “hard/soft” brexit diction is just a spurious way to show
that they care. But now they’re knocking their heads together to create a
tighter Europe and hoping certain countries will follow Britain, so they
become the real E.U aka “Elite Union.” Call me a conspirator but I don’t
believe the E.U didn’t have one hell of back up plan given that Britain has
    left.
    “Brexit means brexit” ~
